Chapter 531 - 531 Invincible: The Center of the Universe, The Strongest Master, The Brutal and Bloody End of Angstrom Levy and The Most EGOIST Path.

Emperor Markus Grayson stood before Allen with a severe and strict look, with an imposing presence but reflecting the anger that had built up from fighting the irritating Allen.

It's overwhelming...

Since it is impossible to know the limit of the universe, it is impossible to locate its center. It is something many may have heard before...But... At this moment, in Allen's calm eyes, there was something invisible to most that would terrify people to their very bones if they saw it. It was an invisible current of something coming from all directions, entering Markus' body and constantly strengthening him.

It's chillingly...

Allen could be sure that at this moment, the center of the universe was in front of him and wanted to kill him.

It's absurd...

The sourc𝗲 of this content is freēwēbηovel.c૦m.

Markus was very strong. Allen could place him at the level of titans like Worldbreaker Hulk, even Superman Prime. However, Allen had already come a long way to this point, accumulating experience, power, and abilities too strong to lose. So, why was Markus still standing?

Allen understood that he needed to end this quickly. Allen understood that he was not only facing Markus but the entire world. Allen understood what it was like to be chosen by the world!

Allen closed his eyes...

It was subtle like a drop falling into water...

It was discreet like a leaf descending to the ground...

It was soft like the sound of a small bell...

Something changed within Allen... he had deactivated... his Save Point because this power was incompatible with what he had done before.

Allen stopped using cursed power, demonic power, magic, haki, chi, his spiritual power, even his mutant abilities and superpowers... all of this because it conflicted with this new technique, which was too EGOIST to share the stage with anyone else... curiously, there was no conflict with his broken limiter and The Absolute, so, Allen was satisfied with that...

– "You're not fit for that, kid..." –

Beerus' words resonated in Allen's calm gaze... this brought back a memory...

....

In the past, Allen, still very inexperienced, needed the help of masters to use his strongest powers and abilities. Some were so powerful they could kill him by attempting to use them, but that was all in the past, along with the need to depend on a master to master a skill, power, or artifact.

The strongest master who came to visit Allen was someone with a bad reputation, a gluttonous, lazy, irresponsible, selfish god with a very bad temper. This was Beerus, who taught Allen to control the core of destruction, which, to summarize, is an intangible sphere containing the power of a god of destruction from the Dragon Ball world.

Beerus warned Allen about several things. First, wanting to use such power without training was suicide. Also, being a power originating from his own world, Beerus suspected that it must have belonged to one of the gods of destruction who were erased by "The God of All, Zeno-Sama." If so, Beerus was obligated to eliminate Allen and recover or destroy that core. But the god who appeared and who had the appearance of a purple humanoid cat did not do that.

Instead, he decided to train Allen, and it wasn't due to some mysterious revelation or by the whims of fate, but because Allen's food was delicious, the best Beerus had tasted in a million years. With that and a moment of caprice from the strongest god of destruction, Allen managed to get him to train him, which became one of the worst experiences Allen ever had, only surpassed by when he was tortured by Sukuna.

However, there are some details Allen never told anyone about that experience with Beerus.

(Flashback)

"Kid, you're really not fit for that power...."

"..."

"I don't think you have a good affinity with a god of destruction... in fact, you smell like Whis."

"Huh?" Allen was incredulous at such a statement, but Beerus didn't give him time to think.

"But who cares? I said I'd teach you, and of course, I will," Beerus stood up, yawning, "However, you may not be able to use it. This technique is called Migatte no Gokui or Ultra Instinct... and it requires complete detachment from any kind of thoughts, leaving only the body in a state of total harmony with martial arts..."

"Beerus-sama... I actually know that technique... even one that's the opposite of Ultra Instinct, called..."

"..." Beerus listened to the words Allen spoke, words he'd never heard before, and remained silent.

In the Chat, there are many characters, and it's inevitable that people would recognize them and want to talk to them. However, there's a detail that seems to be a hole that no one notices. Allen is using knowledge from his world about different worlds, and of course, there is nothing here preventing people from Marvel from knowing these same things. However, why does it seem like Beerus, Whis, Rias, Kara, Raven, Kratos, and even DoomGuy have little knowledge of themselves?

Even if they are variants of the originals, why haven't they raised questions about the "history" of their own worlds?

It's easier to understand with an example. Why doesn't it seem like there are comments in the Chat like this:

– Beerus-sama, have you already visited Freezer to advise him to destroy the Saiyans?

– Whis-sama, have you met Goku?

The answer is simple...

Such comments that have information that could alter the history of a world are automatically blocked by the system. However, there's a more important reason why these characters know little or nothing about their worlds, and that is... by their own will.

Beerus watched Allen in silence before narrowing his eyes.

"Well, explain to me how this technique works if it's something a god of destruction can do. I'll complete it and teach it to you..."

The God of Destruction, Beerus, knew that Allen knew the future of his world, or perhaps a possible future. However, he chose not to ask anything. He didn't care what Allen knew; he could find it out from the future because for Beerus, knowing the future was the same as renouncing living it.

The Emperor, Angélica (Gilgamesh), Athena, Rick, and even Rias all knew that if they asked, they could learn about their futures or at least the future of a timeline, but no one did. No one wanted to know how they would live or how they would die; it was even unpleasant to think about such information.

Allen didn't understand this at the time, but it wasn't until he saw what "knowledge" had done to Urahara and Aizen that he regretted not being more careful. Having access to the Chat could ruin the lives of some characters who are incapable of handling and accepting that knowledge.

"Beerus-sama..." Allen finished telling him everything he knew and remained silent, attentive.

"I see..."

As expected of the strongest god of destruction, it didn't take long for him to understand the essence of the transformation and smile. Then, he went to meditate for a while before managing to replicate it.

Beerus stood up and stood before Allen. "Kid, this power is still less suited to you. I'm afraid you'll kill yourself if you use it... but still, I'll teach it to you..."

(End of Flashback)

...

"Every day that passes, my hatred for you grows!"

Angstrom Levy spewed hatred toward Invincible with every word. This man who could have once been a good person, or so he said, had now lost the ability to reason, to distinguish his own from others.

Invincible did everything possible not to fall into those portals that could be a certain death depending on where he was sent. However, he couldn't avoid falling into a portal once again.

Angstrom fell to his knees on the ground as he hit it. "The whole plan is falling apart!"

Angstrom wanted to hurt Mark, but he also wanted to make him understand why he had done all of this. Fine, he admits it, his plan had a high margin of error and risk. However, it was still the only way Angstrom could leave his hatred and remorse behind, or so he believed.

The girls witnessed this and looked at each other. First, it was Esdeath, then Wednesday.

"I'll go..." said Makima before a door opened beside her.

"Be careful..." whispered Wednesday.

Makima blinked before waving a gesture of goodbye. This kind of gesture between Wednesday and Makima had to be something surreal. Neither of them was the type to get along with others, but here they were, having interactions, even if they weren't friendly interactions. At least, you could consider them polite.

Wednesday looked emotionlessly at Makima's back, and she couldn't imagine that one day she would become like this... Wednesday felt that she was slowly starting to care about someone else other than Allen like her sisters(dolls) and even the girls around Allen.

'It's disgusting... I'm becoming more like my mother every day...' The thought used to seem repulsive, but at that moment, she had already given up. 'You are my curse, and you must take responsibility for it...'

....

"Ah!" Invincible crashed into a snowy mountain. This time, he found himself in a universe with vast snowy peaks, a universe where Chicago had become... this couldn't be good. However, soon a door opened, and Makima appeared.

"I remember you. Are you Allen's friend?"

"Friend?" Makima didn't change her expression, but her aura of death, blood, and evil sent shivers down Invincible's spine. "I'm his lover, slave, and toy, though that man insists on treating me as his wife. Now, go back quickly before I leave you here to die of hunger."

Invincible, feeling terrified, flew through the door. Makima remained silent, irritated for some reason but still went back.

"...?"

Before leaving, Makima felt someone watching her but decided to ignore it. Though Angstrom and Allen make crossing universes seem easy, it's not. No matter the technology, very few people in the multiverse could accomplish such feats. Makima left that world behind without looking back. Even if she had a heart now, it only beat for one person. Even if a universe were destroyed, she wouldn't care.

...

Invincible returned to his world. This time, without warning, he attacked Angstrom as soon as he saw him, landing a punch and then another.

"Ugh!"

"Bastard!" Invincible unleashed his fury.

Angstrom had blood in his mouth, but he retaliated, headbutting Mark and grabbing him by the neck as his face twisted in pain. Invincible was stunned by this strength.

"Do you want me to tell you a secret?"

Mark broke free and kicked Angstrom, sending him flying through two houses. Then, he attacked Angstrom again. "I don't care what you have to say. You'll tell me once I defeat you and put you in jail!"

Angstrom watched Invincible coming toward him and greeted him with a punch that buried him into the ground, creating a crack that shook the earth.

"Surprised?" Angstrom looked at Invincible with contempt. "When you did this to me?! I was on the brink of death, searching for the best doctors in dozens of dimensions. They healed me, and not just that!"

Angstrom stomped on Invincible's chest.

"Ahh!"

"Did you feel that, Mark?!" Angstrom repeated, creating an even larger crater. "Because Walker was training you, I wasn't sure if my strength would be enough, so I sought more enhancements. I had to make promises and offer resources, but it was worth it! The satisfaction of tearing you apart with my own hands will never be taken from me!!"

...

"Wednesday?"

Makima glanced at the lady in black. It wasn't that she needed permission, but she wanted to hear the opinion of the most sensible strategist in this group of dangerous women.

"Just wait a little longer..."

...

Angstrom laughed while brutally stomping on Invincible.

"It's enough..."

"YOU KILLED MY WIFE! MY SON! MY FATHER! MY MOTHER! MY DAUGHTER! MY FRIENDS! MY WORLD! EVERYONE! EVERYONE!!!"

Invincible's words didn't reach Angstrom, who was wrapped in a storm of rage. But his patience had run out long ago. Invincible had been beaten countless times, and many times he had felt helpless against his enemies. This day, his mother and brother could die, all because of a madman obsessed with vengeance, when clearly, the one he hated most was other Invincibles, not him.

"I SAID ENOUGH!"

Invincible exploded and punched Angstrom, breaking his foot just as he was about to stomp on him again.

"Ahhh!" Angstrom recoiled and fell on his back.

Invincible didn't stop there. He approached and hovered over him before punching him in the face, breaking his nose, then landing another punch that shattered his jaw, followed by another that broke several bones in his face, spreading Angstrom's blood across the ground.

"Do you know how much I've been holding back with you?! Do you even know how strong I am?! Stop blaming me for things I didn't do! I just wanted to do good! What should I have thought when you used the Maulers as your subordinates!!"

With each punch, more blood gushed out, and Angstrom's head was destroyed, to the point where he couldn't even scream anymore. But Invincible didn't stop, unleashing all his frustration, anger, fear, helplessness, even his envy and weakness.

'Huh?'

When his mind pulled him out of this state, he stepped back, looking at Angstrom's condition. Then he looked at his hands in horror, covered in blood and pieces of Angstrom.

"I didn't want this... He said he was strong, I thought I was stronger! I... I didn't..."

"Incredible that even though there were so many changes and this guy wasn't pushed through the multiverse, the fight ended the same..."

Wednesday walked from behind Mark, passing by him to see Angstrom Levy.

"Who are you?" Invincible knew she must be part of the mysterious women who had helped him. However, her expressionless gaze made him feel uncomfortable.

"It doesn't matter..."

"But–"

Invincible didn't finish his words before falling unconscious. Meanwhile, Albedo, Makima, and Esdeath appeared.

"What do we do with him?" Albedo looked at Invincible with disdain, though she looked this way at almost anyone who wasn't Allen or one of his women.

"Leave him. The guy called Cecil will come." Esdeath stepped forward to look at Angstrom. "We were supposed to keep him alive..."

"He's alive..." Makima said with a smile. "I can still feel his soul here..."

Esdeath heard that and quickly froze him in an ice coffin, like a cryogenic state. This way, Allen could strip Angstrom Levy of his powers...

The dolls exchanged looks, unable to hide their concern. Once they finished their mission, they could return to Allen to finish this battle that had already gone on far too long...

...

....

...

Markus stared at Allen's still figure, confused, not knowing what he was doing. However, his vast life experience made him feel that whatever was happening, it shouldn't.

"Human, you were a great opponent. It's a shame you never told me your name..."

With that said, Markus clenched his fist, charging it with many times more power than he had used until now. It was so much that it seemed to warp space. Then, without thinking or questioning why he had suddenly become this strong, he attacked Allen.

His fist tore through space before slamming into Allen, creating a supernova just from the impact.

*Auge*

"...!"

Markus's eyes widened in disbelief. He looked at his fist with furrowed brows, trembling in disbelief. He had his fist on Allen's face, but the man didn't move an inch...

"How? Why? This is impossible!"

Markus couldn't understand. Just a moment ago, they had been having a balanced battle.

"You... what the hell are you?! –??"

*Breaking*

"Wh...What? U...ugh!"

Markus looked down to see Allen's fist embedded in his body, as blood poured from his mouth, nose, ears, and eyes.

"It's true, I haven't introduced myself yet..."

The words, laced with a proud mockery, filled Markus's ears. A destructive and chaotic aura erupted from Allen. His hair turned purple, and so did his eyes. But more importantly, his power multiplied massively and exponentially.

"I am human, creator of the best entertainment, a traveler of goodwill, a family man... a part-time Supervillain and Superhero, Director of Arkham, a dedicated student, martial arts master, teacher for young mutants, King Quincy, Ancient Hero, renegade Auror, Mercenary, The Regulator... Emperor of Mankind... God of Destruction... and your worst nightmare..."

"AHHHH!" Markus summoned all his strength to try to get away from Allen, but Allen just smiled with contempt and violence.

Allen withdrew his fist, sending Markus flying as far as he could. However, his eyes widened when he saw the smile on Allen's face. Allen reached him in an instant.

"...!!!"

"One more thing... I AM ALLEN WALKER!" Allen grinned, clenching his fist. Then, without mercy, he landed a punch to Markus's face with such force that it resonated across the entire universe.

The selfish manifestation of the power of a God of Destruction, unwilling to leave everything behind for martial arts, Allen would have more affinity with Ultra Instinct, but his back carried too much to leave behind. That's why he chose the path of Absolute Ego, of pride over humility, of holding everything and leaving nothing behind...

The Ultra Ego!

===

A/N: I was very tempted to put Ultra Ego in the title, but it would be a very blatant spoiler. XD
