I Will Create a Good Ending for the Yandere Villainess-Chapter 187: Recent News?
What did the author mean by saying that they got sick? Lillian continued to read on further, shifting a bit on the couch.
"The f***h have begun to take over a large portion of the land above. Its vessel must be reaching its limit. "It" must be searching for a new one. "It" has set its eyes on us. Morbasker is not ready. We are running out of time. We must leave and abandon this project... I'm sorry, my friend... Maybe one day we might meet again."
Lillian stared grimly at the text of jagged, thin ink letters. Her mouth felt dry as she read this. What could the author possibly mean by "It"? And what did they need the Violet Tree for...?
Lillian was at a loss for words. She wanted to know more, but this was the page it stopped at. She gave an exaggerated sigh.
After a second of blankly staring at the Diary, she analysed it and began to read its description.

Lillian stared at its description, somberly.
'"A tree that was planned for a greater purpose..." What does the Jester mean by this?' She wondered, then eventually gave up using any more brain power.
She turned her body around, making it, so her face was facing up. What she was met with were two mounds, blocking her view of the Assassin's face. She smirked, smugly.
She then realised that the Assassin was still in her Academy uniform.
"Hey, Mari, aren't you going to change out of that?"
Marionette looked down, over her chest, and at the girl's face.
"Not sure. Are you going to let me sleep with you?"
"Hm? Sure...? I don't see why not." Lillian shrugged.
"I see... Then, may I use your bathroom?"
Marionette watched as the Rabbit nodded and sat up from her lap, allowing her to get up.
Lillian's eyes followed the woman as she left the couch and made her way out of the living room. She then turned her eyes towards the TV, watching the news.
"—Now moving onto our next piece of news." The female news anchor tapped her documents on the table, organising them.
"The North and South regions, Nolstra and Seph, have begun to show slight suspicion to one another due to the recent "accident" that happened just a few days ago."
Lillian blinked at this news, glancing towards the ceiling with a pondering look. The accident the news anchor was referring to was the sudden attack on the West's Prestigious Academy, Indomitable Shield Academy.
The reason for the sudden suspicion was that this attack took place during an annual event. This event was similar to the tournament that's about to take place with Louis Mana Academy and Luton School of Prestigious Magic.
Once their tournament with the North's Region's prestigious academy, King Grand Noble Academy, ended — the North winning — an unidentified army invaded the Academy grounds, causing massive damage.
Lillian looked down from the ceiling, looking back towards the TV.
"—From witnesses that were fortunate to survive, it was said that the unidentified attackers wore dark-hooded cloaks that shielded their identity."
The TV shifted to camera footage that caught a glimpse of a hooded figure running by before shortly cutting out.
"Before their attack, it was said they had launched an EMP strike, shutting down the cameras that weren't created to withstand it. And it was stated that the casualties in this attack had numbered the thousands."
The News then cut to a different scene. It was a much higher quality than the stuttering camera footage, and it seemed to be taken... Outside?
The West Academy was said to be situated in a more urban area, rather than inside the City or within a realm like hers. For an Academy that boasted its ability to protect its students, it truly didn't look like it.
Tall towers on the Academy grounds were more like hellish spires as they glowed like obsidian torches. Buildings of more basic shape appeared more as burning cradles.
It was a horrific scene. Even more so with what happened next.
In the dreadful orange sky, something flew towards the burning academy. It was long with a metal body, sharpened at the tip, and propelled by blue flames coming out from its rear.
It was a Missile. freeweɓnovēl.coɱ
And it wasn't the only one.
From a couple to a few to at least a dozen shot through the air. It was an artillery strike... An attack that would surely devastate the entire academy.
However, the Academy was at least able to prove its reputation for its defences.
A gargantuan dome shot out from the centre of the Academy, putting out the flames inside it with a powerful gust, and embraced the buildings within it.
It was of a dark-greenish colour and made of hexagonal cells — outlined with a brownish light.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
The missiles had no noticeable effect on this dome of pure mana. Not a dent, nor a crack, not even a shake.
This particular barrier was called, "The Great Tortoise Shell".
The news then cuts back to the news anchor.
"Currently, the two kingdom's ambassadors are arranging a meeting to discuss this tragic event. However, due to the fact that the North Kingdom's citizens were there when it happened, some residents in the West Kingdom have begun to accuse them of it."
Lillian's hand played with the remote, twirling it around and sliding her thumb over the buttons. She then noticed Marionette's return and switched off the TV.
"Ready to head off to bed?" She asked, getting a curious tilt from the Assassin.
"You wish to sleep now?"
"Meh... Just feeling a bit tired."
"Sure. I see no problem with that."
However, just before Lillian turned off the TV, the news switched to a different scene.
It was an illustration of a silverish mask with subtle jagged edges and antlers. Following its appearance, the news anchor muttered before disappearing:
"Some may also speculate that it was the Cult of Jesters doing..."
