I'm the Owner of the Pokémon Day Care In the World of Pokémon-Chapter 1385: Action
Chapter 1385 - Action
After finishing lunch, Yuga was sitting at the dining table, discussing the next training plan with Diancie, while Ash and Clemont were listening nearby.
Serena and Bonnie were washing the dishes by the river with Florges.
At this moment, the group suddenly heard a loud scream, followed by three dark figures quickly running past them.
"Team Rocket!!!"
Ash shouted, but just as his voice fell, there was a loud "bang," and another figure landed on the dining table, shattering it into pieces.
When everyone saw the figure clearly, they realized it was a Hawlucha.
Hawlucha had already lost its rationality after being toyed with by Team Rocket's trio, and upon seeing Yuga and the others, it immediately attacked without hesitation.
Yuga and the others quickly dodged with swift movements.
...
[ Hawlucha (Shiny) ]
Type: Fighting, Flying
Ability: Unorthodox
Gender: Male
Potential: Blue
Level: 74
Moves: Detect, Scratch, Karate Chop, Wing Attack, Aerial Ace, Throw, Flying Body Slam, Bounce, Reckless, Flying Knee, Brave Bird, Gravity, Swords Dance, Brick Break, Steel Wing, Low Kick, Focus Blast, High Speed, Thunder Punch, Hell Spike.
...
After looking at Hawlucha's data, Yuga said to Diancie, "Diancie, this Hawlucha is up to you! It's about time you had a real battle."
"Yes..." Diancie hesitated, stepping forward.
Hawlucha saw Diancie approach and immediately raised its hand to strike with Karate Chop.
Seeing this, Diancie conjured five-colored light orbs on both of her hands, punching forward, and the five-colored glow exploded, sending Hawlucha flying.
Diancie had just absorbed a Fairy Gem, and her body was full of energy, so it was the perfect opportunity to digest it.
"Nice!!!"
"Go Diancie!!!"
Ash and Clemont immediately cheered and shouted from the side.
Feeling encouraged, Diancie's confidence soared, and a full moon appeared slowly above her head. A silver light beam shot out, pushing Hawlucha back step by step.
Hawlucha, now enraged, leaped into the sky with a powerful push of its legs, using Flying Body Slam to press down on Diancie.
Diancie, full of confidence, saw Hawlucha charging and used the power of the moon to unleash a flurry of attacks.
Having just eaten, Diancie was full of energy, and her offensive pace didn't slow down for a moment. Within just a few moves, she sent Hawlucha flying out of the way.
Although Hawlucha was an Elite level Pokémon, it was no match for Yuga's carefully trained Bellossom, Breloom, and Roserade. After undergoing rigorous training with the three Pokémon, Diancie was now facing Hawlucha with a sense of "this is nothing."
Boom!!!
Under another magical flash from Diancie, Hawlucha finally fell.
Seeing that she had defeated her opponent, Diancie happily ran to Ash and said, "Ash, do you think I've gotten stronger?"
Ash gave her a thumbs-up and praised, "Diancie, you're amazing! You've really made quick progress!"
Diancie, beaming with pride, said, "At this rate, do you think I'll be able to learn Fairy Aura soon?"
"Definitely!"
Ash replied confidently, fully trusting in Diancie.
Yuga walked over to the unconscious Hawlucha and took out a Poké Ball to capture it, not bothering to ask the others about the ownership of the Pokémon.
He had spent a lot of time and effort training Diancie, providing top-tier energy and precious Fairy Gems, so capturing a Pokémon seemed only natural.
After Team Rocket's trio caused trouble, they didn't leave.
Jessie, upon seeing how easily Diancie had taken down Hawlucha, who had previously sent them fleeing, couldn't help but murmur, "Wow, Diancie's gotten so strong in just a few days. I wonder if we'll get beaten up when we try to capture it."
Not one to be intimidated, James immediately punched Jessie, saying, "What nonsense are you talking about? Do you want to lose your Diamond?!"
Meowth also excitedly looked at Yuga and said, "I wonder if that big ghost would train me for a few days, would I get this strong too?"
Before it could finish, Jessie punched Meowth.
"Stop dreaming!"
The strength they were talking about came from money. Didn't they see that every day, she just casually handed out Fairy Gems as if they cost nothing? One of those gems was worth her entire monthly living expenses.
If she had that much money, why would she come to a place like this to suffer? Jessie thought bitterly.
After capturing Hawlucha, Yuga released it again to heal its wounds. When Hawlucha woke up, the first thing it did was accuse Yuga and his group of stealing its berries.
Yuga immediately understood what had happened—their attack had clearly been a setup by Team Rocket!
Once they realized why they had been attacked, Yuga took out a large amount of food to prove that they had food and didn't need to steal. Hawlucha then realized it had misunderstood.
Finally, after Yuga's persuasive efforts with a feast, Hawlucha agreed to follow him, secretly vowing to make sure to deal with those three berry thieves next time they crossed paths!
After resting, Yuga and the group set sail again.
From that day on, in addition to giving Diancie intensive training, Yuga often docked the Ghost Ship to find other Pokémon for it to practice against. However, this made their travel pace slower.
Several days passed, and with Yuga's guidance, Diancie's practical combat experience greatly improved, and her mastery over Fairy-type energy became more proficient.
With rapid progress and growing experience, Diancie finally made some headway in cultivating Fairy Aura and was now vaguely able to feel how to use it.
This made Diancie incredibly happy, feeling that soon she would be able to create Sacred Diamonds and save the Diamond Domain.
One day, with the weather clear and the autumn air crisp, Yuga, seeing how hard Diancie had worked these past few days, decided to give her half a day off to relax and let himself unwind as well.
The Ghost Ship drifted leisurely on the river, and Yuga lay on the deck chair, closing his eyes to rest, holding a fishing rod in his hands.
Feeling the fishing rod tremble, Yuga quickly opened his eyes, yanked the rod upwards, and a Basculin leaped out of the water, caught by the fishing line.
"Another Basculin!"
With a helpless expression, Yuga removed the wild bass from the hook and casually tossed it back into the river.
"This river has way too many wild Basculin," he muttered.
Florges, who was leisurely sipping tea beside him, couldn't help but laugh at his remark.
After re-baiting the hook and casting it back into the river, Yuga lay back in his chair, indifferent to whether or not he would catch a Pokémon. He was simply passing the time.
On the other side, Ash was training his Pokémon, Clemont was working on a new invention, Serena was planning her next moves for the Pokémon Showcase, and Yuga was relaxing with Diancie at the stern of the ship, playing a game.
At that moment, Yuga, who had been resting with his eyes closed, suddenly sensed a faint fluctuation of energy nearby. Slowly opening his eyes, he saw a Gengar quietly appearing next to him. After whispering a few words in his ear, the Gengar vanished once again.
"Are they finally going to make their move?" Yuga muttered to himself.
The Gengar had been one of the ghost-type Pokémon Yuga had sent out to monitor Milis and Argus, the father and daughter duo. He knew that the pair had been following them with ill intentions, and it was clear that Yuga wouldn't let them get away with it.
Seeing that they were getting closer to their destination and that Diancie was making progress with learning Fairy Aura, Yuga knew the time for action had come.
The father and daughter duo knew that once Diancie returned to the Diamond Domain, they would lose their chance.
"It's time to act!"
Yuga lightly stepped on the deck beneath him, and a strange, eerie laugh echoed out.
"Hehehe~"
Gengar emerged from the shadow space, quietly appearing by Yuga's side.
After many days, the Gengar and Mismagius, both awakened from their slumber due to the Soul Crystal, had gained a significant boost in power.
...
[ Gengar (Gengarite) ]

...
The Soul Crystal, originating from the first Marshadow, was no doubt a potent source of energy. Not only did it turn Gengar and Mismagius's potential into purple, but it also pushed their levels to just a step away from becoming Master level Pokémon.
These two ghost-type Pokémon had now become the strongest members in Yuga's team, aside from Absol and Florges. If they teamed up, even Absol might struggle against them.
Gengar placed its chubby little hand on Yuga's shoulder, and in an instant, Yuga's figure slowly disappeared before Florges's eyes.
"Florges, stay with Dusknoir and watch over the Ghost Ship!" Yuga's voice echoed from the distance, clearly indicating that he had already left the Ghost Ship.
"Got it!" Florges responded, unconcerned about whether Yuga could hear her or not.
When Yuga reappeared, he was already standing on Milis and Argus' aircraft. The aircraft was cloaked, but it was still detected by Gengar's senses.
According to reports from the ghost-type Pokémon monitoring them, the father and daughter were not currently inside the aircraft.
Yuga waved his hand, and the next moment, the flying vehicle disappeared from its original location, only to reappear in his system space.
If the father and daughter return and find their flying vehicle has suddenly disappeared, that would be interesting! Yuga thought with a mischievous grin.
After taking the flying vehicle, Yuga and Gengar vanished again.
Meanwhile, on the ghost ship...
Milis and Argus, the father and daughter, were wearing diving suits and stealthily installing a strange device on the bottom of the ghost ship.
Once the device was in place, the father and daughter quickly departed.
However, what they didn't know was that, just as they left, twisting chains emerged from the water, and the broken rudder wheel that surfaced glanced at the device before casually disappearing again.
The strange device was now emitting a special sound wave that humans couldn't hear with their ears.
At this moment, Team Rocket's trio was riding in their self-made submarine, trailing behind the ghost ship underwater. Since the ghost ship was moving slowly today, they were able to take it easy for once.
"I told you, Meowth, could you not make these things that only work if you step on them? Every time, I'm going to be exhausted!" Jessie groaned as she massaged her sore legs.
"And you're still complaining? If you didn't waste all our money on useless things, I wouldn't have to use cheap stuff!" Meowth retorted angrily.
"What?! Now you're blaming me? Is it my fault you ate all the octopus bucket grilled food I bought?!"
"That's totally different!" Meowth snapped.
"How is it different? It's the same thing!" Jessie argued.
...
As Jessie and Meowth argued, James sighed and tried to mediate. "Both of you, stop. What's the point of arguing now?"
Just after James finished speaking, he suddenly saw what appeared to be a shadow pass by outside the submarine.
"Wait... did you guys see something just now?" James asked, pointing at the window of the submarine.
"What is it?" Jessie and Meowth both asked in unison.
Before either of them could finish speaking, the submarine suddenly shook violently.
"This is bad! Our submarine is being attacked by wild Pokémon!" James said, his face turning pale.
Outside, a dark mass of wild Basculin had gathered, charging wildly with their sharp teeth, biting anything in their path.
The trio's submarine was quickly damaged as the Basculin gnawed at it, causing water to pour in.
It was just bad luck for Team Rocket, as the real target of the wild Basculin was the ghost ship. The sound waves emitted by the strange device on the bottom of the ship had attracted them.
The Basculin were naturally aggressive, and the sound waves only heightened their ferocity, causing them to go into a frenzy. The fact that Team Rocket's submarine happened to be in their way only made things worse.
Soon, a large swarm of Basculin had gathered near the ghost ship, likely drawing in all the Basculin from the entire river. They recklessly attacked the ghost ship.
Luckily, the ghost ship was made of special material, so despite the sharp teeth of the Basculin, it would take time for them to cause any serious damage.
Florges stood at the bow of the ship, coldly watching the chaos unfold. She secretly exchanged glances with Dusknoir hidden in the shadows.
Under Dusknoir's orders, the ghost-type Pokémon began to put on a show of resistance, making it appear as though they were being overwhelmed by the Basculin.
On Yuga's side, after retrieving Milis and Argus' flying vehicle, he followed the guidance of the ghost-type Pokémon and found another group of people nearby.
Since Milis and Argus had been monitoring Yuga and his team for so long, they would never act without being fully prepared.
These two people were famous thieves, with wealth to match their notorious reputations. Yuga thought that this would be a perfect opportunity for a "black eats black" scheme—just like the saying goes, "a horse won't grow fat without eating night grass!"
