"Wait outside! I’ll come out quickly!"

Hearing Uncle Darien’s rushed words, Dylan pursed his lips and then closed the phone in his hand. How could he not know that Uncle Darien wanted to come here as fast as possible?

Looking at the City A Base in the distance, Dylan nodded slightly.

It should only take a few minutes.

"Uncle Darien is in a hurry." Anna chuckled after she heard Uncle Darien’s tone from the phone. "But this is also good."

This meant that they could go back and rest quickly after handing over the extremely large mutated animal’s corpse to Uncle Darien. As for what they wanted to do with it, it had nothing to do with Dylan and Anna.

The two of them had already taken the portion for their own ’food’ and also Kitty’s food.

The rest was not needed.

And it was not like Uncle Darien wouldn’t give them anything. They would still be given compensation in the form of contribution points.

For this matter, Dylan and Anna didn’t have any objections.

As long as they were still living in City A Base, the contribution points would still be used. Having more of them would only mean that they were richer.

"Yes." Dylan nodded and looked at Anna.

These past days when they went on a journey to fight the extremely large mutated animal was also quite tiring. After all, the few big mutated animals on the way sometimes didn’t know what was good for them and they came forward to challenge Dylan and Anna.

Naturally, the end result for them was to be defeated and then turned into Kitty’s food.

The greedy cat would never complain about too much food. If anything, Kitty was so happy that he received more food for himself because it was simply the best that he could ask from Dylan and Anna.

Thankfully, even if Kitty was greedy, the cat didn’t turn into a big fatty.

If he did, then it would be really hard to look at Kitty straight.

Though, Kitty was actually really heavy even with his size.

"After this, let’s take a break and stop fighting these big mutated animals for a few days," Anna suggested.

They had fought a lot of big mutated animals during this period of time. Having an appropriate break would be good.

Dylan thought for a moment before nodding in agreement.

They were not people who loved to fight and battle all day long. Even though fighting against these big mutated animals would help to enhance their strength and control over their abilities, but there was a limit to how much they would be willing to practice every day.

And the combination of hard work and rest was also important.

Since they had just come back from an important mission of hunting the extremely large mutated animal and faced many big mutated animals on the way, having a few days break should be fine.

Seeing Dylan agreed so easily, Kitty looked at Dylan in contempt. In his opinion, this Dylan was simply too weak and agreed to take a rest so easily. If it was Kitty, he would rather go out and hunt a few more big mutated animals.

Anna shook her head and patted Dylan’s shoulder before he started fighting Kitty for real. "Come on, we didn’t understand his language either. There’s no need to pick up a fight with Kitty, alright?"

Dylan glanced at Kitty and snorted before looking at Anna and nodding.

Looking at Dylan’s rapidly changing expression, Kitty rolled his eyes. He felt that Dylan was really shameless in front of Anna and this attribute was getting worse and worse as time passed.

Tsk, Kitty raised his paw. He was a bit tempted to fight against Dylan and possibly scratch this man.
