Uncle Darien and Uncle Matthias heard Second Uncle Kenan’s words and didn’t refute. Because the main base of this operation was Uncle Darien’s family, he also received the biggest portion.

Uncle Matthias smiled and laughed. "They will definitely share with you, Lucy. But for now, you can enjoy your food in my family."

"Yes."

With that, they all had a hearty meal and then everyone resumed back to their work or training. The extremely large mutated animal’s meat was much better than the solution that they received from the base. It was even better than the vegetables’ solution that the base had prepared for them.

Naturally, what Anna gave to them was still better.

After all, other awakened was not as strong as Anna and the research institute was still trying to increase it.

This meant that there would be some better liquid solution that the research institute would provide to them.

It would be really exciting.

Alicia went to the research institute curiously and paid a visit to Derek, who was taking a break after taking care to bury some of the extremely large mutated animal’s bones to one of their plots. Naturally, this was done after these bones were disintegrated to mix with the soil better.

They were hoping to get better vegetables after the plants grew.

Derek saw Alicia came and smiled. "You’re here, Alicia."

"Yes." Alicia nodded and looked at the researchers who were busy and smiled faintly. "They’re so busy with the extremely large mutated animal’s matter?"

Derek nodded.

He was not surprised that Alicia knew because her uncle was one of the leaders in City A Base. If she didn’t know, it would be stranger.

"Are you surprised that the extremely large mutated animal can be killed?" Alicia asked with a faint grin.

Surprised?

Derek arched his eyebrows and chuckled lightly. He nodded.

Of course, he was very surprised.

But it was good.

At least, this way, there was no need for so many people to sacrifice their lives and die miserably.
