I'm Trapped Inside a Prince as the Most Powerful Entity-Chapter 136: The Induction

As Eric stepped out of the dormitory building into the bright morning light he saw them.

The other first-year students the ones who had not joined his new group were already gathered outside in the courtyard.

The [System Window] had already informed Eric of the previous day’s events.

It had told him about the creation of his group and about the fact that a large number of students had chosen not to align with him.

He looked at them at their wary uncertain faces.

Then he chose to ignore them. He directed his attention forward towards the Academy staff members who were waiting for all the students to assemble.

All the new arrivals Eric and his group included were still wearing the clothes they had arrived in from their home kingdoms.

They had not yet been issued the official Academy uniform. But Eric from seeing the upperclassmen the day before knew that wearing the uniform was mandatory for all students.

The staff members who had been waiting patiently for all the first-year students to gather now addressed the large crowd. "All of you please follow us," one of them announced. His voice was clear and authoritative.

"Today is the United Academy’s official induction program. It is your formal welcome."

With that the staff members began to move organizing the students. More than ten staff members formed a line.

They instructed each student to fall in behind them. This created several long orderly columns of students. It was very organized.

Eric found a place in one of the columns. He was standing behind a tall stern-looking staff member. Immediately behind Eric Void Kado and Ryan took their places.

The rest of the forty members of The New Warriors filled in the rows behind them. A few of them spilled over into the adjacent column when their own ran out of space.

They all stood together as a group.

Once all the students were organized into neat rows a staff member who appeared to be the senior-most among them standing at the very back of the formation gave a sharp nod.

He then turned and began to walk forward setting the pace for everyone.

The staff members at the front of each column also began to move.

And behind them the entire first-year student body including Eric and his new faction started to march in a single massive procession. They moved like a small army.

After walking for some time Eric looked ahead and saw a similar procession approaching from the opposite direction. It was a large group of girls also organized into neat columns.

They were being led by female Academy staff members. Just as the boys were being led by male staff the girls had their own chaperones.

A thought of Alina immediately came to Eric’s mind. He scanned the approaching sea of faces. He was searching for her in the vast crowd of female students. There were so many of them.

As the two large groups one of boys and one of girls drew near to each other they both made a synchronized turn to the left. They moved together as one merging onto a single wider path.

This wide path led them towards a massive impressive building. Its architecture was grand and imposing. It was clearly the Academy’s main auditorium a place for large gatherings.

As they walked Eric continued to glance sideways towards the columns of female students marching parallel to them. He caught a flash of movement a hand waving in the air.

He focused on it and finally he saw her.

It was Alina. She had spotted him too and was smiling. A look of relief and excitement was on her face.

Eric smiled back at her. He raised his own hand in a brief wave to let her know he had seen her.

As the entire student body all the boys and girls arrived in front of the large auditorium they saw that numerous other Academy staff members both men and women all clad in the same standard gray attire were already waiting for them there.

The staff members who had been leading the procession came to a halt. They then gestured towards the large entrance of the auditorium. They were indicating that all the students should now proceed inside.

One by one the boys and girls began to file into the building together.

The moment they stepped inside they were greeted by the sight of a vast cavernous hall. The interior of the auditorium was even more impressive than the exterior.

It had row upon row of plush comfortable seats.

The seats were arranged in a tiered fashion rising upwards like steps all facing a large elevated platform at the front of the hall. It was like a giant theater.

And on that platform seated in ornate high-backed chairs were the senior faculty of the United Academy.

A large number of teachers and professors were already present. Their expressions were serious and appraising. They watched the new students file in and find their seats.

As Eric’s gaze swept over the figures on the stage a sense of awe washed over him. He thought to himself So these are the most powerful warriors on the entire continent second only to the Emperor himself.

The aura of power the feeling of wisdom and of immense latent strength that was emanating from the figures on the stage was almost overwhelming. Eric could feel it even from a distance.

This was the true heart of the United Academy.

These were the people who would be teaching him for the next four years. It was both a frightening and an exciting thought. The real journey was about to begin.
