Bei Yingluo voiced her thanks at this and became visibly emotional. Wu Qianyu quickly comforted her as the tour continued.

Chen Wentian led them into one of the mining tunnels that was filled with freshly mined ores. He picked up a piece of volcanic rock to show them. It was mostly black and gray but several crystals glittered under the lamplight.

He crushed the rock in his large hand. As the fragments fell away, three clear crystals of irregular shapes remained floating in his palm.

"See, these are basic spiritual crystals. They are formed due to an earthly spiritual vein beneath us. These spiritual veins are guided by the mysterious laws of the world and don't follow any pattern. They can appear in the ground, in large bodies of water, or even in the sky. The one here is not too small but not too big either. Otherwise, King Wu could have developed the monkey kingdom into an empire."

"Around ninety percent of the spiritual crystals mined here are basic spiritual crystals. The rest are red spiritual crystals while rarely, there will be a deposit of orange spiritual crystals. Sadly, the monkey king took all of the orange spiritual crystals so I don't have any to offer at the moment.
