"Perhaps that is exactly what he wants."

As Lonos checked the battlefield, a bit of worry gnawed at the edges of his mind. The absence of the overseer and the dragon god weighed on his mind, casting a shadow of uncertainty over their battle. Lonos knew that facing either of them in his current state would be a formidable challenge, one that he needed to be prepared to confront.

Yet, at the same time, Lonos hesitated to unleash the full extent of his power against Rain. Doing so risked revealing too much too soon, potentially tipping his hand and allowing Rain or the other two to formulate a counter-strategy. It was a delicate balance, one that required careful consideration and strategic Foresight.

As Lonos pondered his next move, he couldn’t shake the apprehension that lingered in the back of his mind. The stakes were high, and the outcome of their battle would have far-reaching consequences for both sides. It was imperative that he tread carefully unless he inadvertently tipped the scales in Rain’s favor.

While Lonos was thinking along those lines, Rain stopped attacking since he ran out of stamina. His body felt as heavy as a huge block of steel... However, he soon solved that problem by summoning some doppelgangers and teleporting them away to the red star. Once again, Rain felt full of energy when they absorbed some of the energy of the star and transformed it into stamina.

"I suppose you have too many cards in your hands, and you can keep thinking of numerous ways to buy time until you have a chance to face me. This reached a point that I can no longer deny that I can’t even let you lift a single finger without taking some future risks, so I shall take that ability from you."

Lobos snapped his fingers, and then time on that planet stopped. Rain’s mind and body stopped functioning altogether, and then Lonos approached him. Lobos’ index finger approached Rain and then passed through his body until it touched one artery after the other. Once that was done, Lobos made Rain’s body move back again.

Rain’s body suddenly convulsed with agony. Every movement sent searing waves of pain coursing through his veins, a relentless onslaught that threatened to overwhelm him. With each shaking, the pain intensified, gnawing at his senses and sapping his strength.

The damage to his arteries had taken its toll, blocking the flow of blood to vital organs and tissues. As a result, his body screamed in protest, deprived of the oxygen and nutrients it so desperately needed to function.

Despite his best efforts, Rain struggled to maintain his footing, his movements growing increasingly sluggish and unsteady. Every breath felt like fire in his lungs, every heartbeat a painful reminder of his body’s frailty.

"... What..." Rain muttered.

Rain lost total control over his body, and he had no idea what had happened. While he was trying to understand what had happened, Lobos hit him directly with Origin Strike. The power of this one attack was many times stronger than before, and Rain’s body was blown away. This time, he not only lost his limbs..., but his head was severed as well.

Rain’s body parts flew in all directions, half destroyed, and the expression on his face froze. The parts fell on the ground and rolled for hundreds of meters, and Lonos watched all of that until they completely stopped moving. Still, he wasn’t surprised to see Rain’s regenerating without his own will from his severed head.

"He has mastered magic to the point that he can use it even without his own decision-making. His spirit, guided by his instincts, will act as the best option for him. Still, what will happen if I crush his head now?"

In the next moment, Lonos suddenly appeared above Rain as he watched his spine being repaired completely. That was quite impressive. That wasn’t something that he could do just with his survival instincts alone... he needed to have the knowledge to make the whole process happen without mistakes.

"You survived being burned to a crisp by the red sun, and I wonder how you can survive this. Well, if you survive this, then it will be hard to call you a mere human. Considering that you already have a good portion of all aspects, that makes sense."

Lonos raised his fist and prepared to use Origin Strike. However, before he could unleash the attack, Rain’s head used it first and headbutted him...

Lonos was pushed backward several meters in the air, and his head began to bleed the silver liquid once more. The wound soon closed after he undid the wound with his Time Reversal, but he couldn’t help but frown... even in that state of unconsciousness, Rain still was willing to fight to the point that his own attack cracked his skull.

"Since it has come down to this, it is obvious that only a total molecular death will stop you."

Lonos used his time magic to make Rain return to the state that he was in before he was wounded, and when that had happened, he suddenly opened his eyes widely since Lonos pierced his body, and he didn’t have time to do anything.

"I am surprised that your species has come this far, but it is time to end this. I respect your willpower and accomplishments, and with that in mind, I will spare your species once I am done with the dragon and that other being. I want to see how much they much further they can reach."

In the next moment, Lonos chopped off his own arm, and then the severed arm began to spread around Rain... he couldn’t react in any way or even move his eyes... Eventually, his body was completely taken. After not so long, the liquid was absorbed by his body, and then it turned into a pile of dust that fell on the surface of that planet... Rain’s presence disappeared completely...
