Lvl 25: Time Weaving - Threads temporal energies to weave intricate patterns of causality, shaping the flow of events to desired outcomes.
Since Rain recovered the knowledge of the aspects, it was only natural that he would also obtain the Data that they had obtained. Not only that, he also obtained all the data that was created in the dimension thanks to the information aspect. Thanks to that, his head was about to explode since the aspect of time required insane ammounts of knowledge and experience... it wasn’t complete yet, but it was fine since Rain could tell how Lonos techniques worked more than before.
"What is the point of this? Even if you can use some of the techniques, you see still millions of years behind me. The power of your techniques is light years behind mine. All that I need to do is to crush your head once more and then I will deal with your friends." freēwēbηovel.c૦m
"I wouldn’t do that. This isn’t a Shounen manga, but I would bet that I would get pissed like a Shounen protagonist if you were to do that, and that would be your end."
Lonos had no idea what Rain was talking about, so he just crushed his head with a barrage of Beyond Time Strikes. He attacked his body that was regenerating once more to slow down his recovery... Still, Lonos didn’t like the idea of leaving him alone. So, he moved his body to the red star and made it burn. Even if he was somewhat resistant to it now, things would be different if Lonos used the power of time to make the flames burn faster.
"... Where are his doppelgangers? I can’t sense their presence here at all."
Although Rain didn’t have the chance to keep the dimension active for long, he still should have needed a massive source of energy... considering the damage that he had suffered, he would have had a hard time maintaining so many spells at once.
"... Combining the power of two aspects is already difficult... combining several of them should have been impossible for him. At the same time, using any other aspect of energy based technique while using the void aspect should have been impossible..."
In the end, Lonos awareness alerted him once more to be cautious around Rain... throwing him at a massive source of energy might be too troublesome. Causing another total molecular death seemed like the only remaining option, but Lonos didn’t want to risk him learning any more of his techniques, even if they were much weaker than his.
The Temporal path was updated.
Lvl 30: Temporal Shielding - Erects barriers of temporal energy to shield against temporal disruptions, preserving the integrity of localized temporal realities.
As Lonos considered his next move, he sensed a surge in Rain’s temporal power, a subtle yet undeniable indication of the threat that Rain posed, even in his weakened state. Recognizing the need to act swiftly, Lonos made his decision, a calculated choice designed to neutralize Rain’s abilities once and for all.
With a single gesture, Lonos invoked the same technique that had served him well before, employing the power of temporal manipulation to seal Rain’s temporal abilities. In an instant, Rain’s connection to the flow of time was severed, leaving him vulnerable and bereft of his most potent weapon.
Yet, in a surprising twist, Lonos chose to grant Rain rest, allowing him to heal completely from his injuries. It was a move that spoke volumes of Lonos’ cunning, for he understood that to crush Rain utterly, he would need to face him at his full strength.
"This is starting to get annoying, don’t you think?’ Rain asked.
"This will end soon. Doing what you did before will make things pretty interesting."
"It is what they say... karma is a bitch," Rain said. "This fight is the perfect representation of: you thought that you outsmarted me, but I outsmarted your outsmarting. Now... onto the level three of my strategy..."
Rain used the Void Aspect, and soon Lonos confirmed that his trap had become useless. By enveloping himself in an aura of void, Rain could nullify the effects of Temporal Shielding, and when he expanded the technique, the Temporal Shields began to fall apart.
Before Rain could continue with his strategy, Lonos appeared in front of him and then hit his solar plexus with an elbow attack, then a kick on his right side followed by a roundhouse kick at Rain’s head... Rain felt the power of those attacks at the same time and then began to spin violently in the air.
Before Rain could stop, Lonos lowered his posture and then body slammed Rain. Lonos kept his stance and then hit Rain with the same attack from all sides... It was the first time that Lonos did something like that and it was surprisingly fun.
Lonos could tell that Rain was agonizing and he wasn’t planning to give him a single millisecond to recover... with that in mind, he prepared another roundhouse kick at his right side and then pierce his liver with his ribs... making him heal from that while the bones were there would be pretty painful. Still, at the moment Lonos fixed his posture, he was suddenly hit by a barrage of palm strikes.
Lonos was pushed backward violently while his feet slid on the ground... when he stopped, he saw the marks of his hands on his body slowly disappearing. The hits had been quite heavy...
