When Jayden went back home, he was surprised that Temi had already prepared dinner. Thanks to the fact that he had gotten some groceries a few days ago, she might have found the job easy.

"Hey, you are here. Where did you go?" Temi asked with a smile on her face as she approached him, helping him pull off his shoes before he could even make an attempt himself.

"I had an appointment with some business planners," Jayden lied.

Of course, there was no way he was telling her where he had actually gone.

"Cool, ready to have your own company?" She smiled at him.

"Yeah," Jayden replied.

"But you'd need a degree certificate for that, you know?" Temi stared sharply.

"Yeah, I do. That would be ready within three months. Don't worry," Jayden smiled.

After pulling off his shoes, she brought the meal on a tray and placed it on the table. Since this wasn't some expensive apartment, it only had two rooms without a dining room, and they both had dinner at the table in the living room.

While they ate, Temi just couldn't stay silent.

"I really don't know how to thank you for what you did for me. I never expected it, Jayden. You changed my life," she said with a very sincere expression.

"It's nothing, Temi. I can do anything just to make you happy," he said as he gave a reassuring smile.

"Great then... Jayden. I have a request," Temi moved her hand towards him from the opposite side of the table.

Jayden's eyes sharpened. "What request? Name it," he replied calmly, though there was an entirely different reaction in his mind.

'What if she wants to ask for more money?!'

'Maybe she is one of those ambitious ladies... She might ask for twenty million. I'd be drained!'

'I slightly smell a gold-digger!'

Jayden's thoughts almost made him go insane, but he was calm on the outside, staring right into Temi's eyes.

After taking a deep breath and with a slightly hesitant look, Temi finally voiced out,

"Jayden... Be my man."

Jayden froze for a moment, then he blinked more often than normal.

That was uncalled for... Truly.

He never expected it, or did he?

Jayden froze.

Camilia arched an eyebrow as she turned to her father. "Which is?"

Her father turned to her, serious.

"Your engagement. It's been arranged. Once you graduate in three months, you will marry Prince Kael."
