Temi was just about to head to her newly opened Designer Wears Production Company when some men arrived at the apartment building.

Since Jayden had been away, she had been really bored, but this was also an opportunity to put more effort into being present in her office.

She didn’t want to disappoint Jayden, so she had to make sure the business grew. With that, she was sure that Jayden would be proud of her.

The two men approached her just when she was about to step into her Lambo. She froze, noticing the unfriendly look from them, but she tried to stay calm.

"Good day," Malik greeted.

"Good day? How may I help you?" Temi asked, her tone bold.

"Uhh... Nothing much. We just came to ask you a few questions," Brenner voiced. He appeared to be more friendly than Malik.

"Okay?" Temi hesitated before replying, her face shining in suspicion.

The way they acted and looked at her said it all... There was something wrong, and it didn’t take her long to realize that.

"We are looking for Jayden Cole. We are well aware that he lives here, so we need you to point out his exact apartment," Brenner added, trying his best to be polite with the chocolate-skinned beauty.

Temi felt a bit uneasy, but she sighed... "Well, Jayden is my boyfriend. We live together here."

The two men flinched the moment they heard that, but they didn’t react with much shock. They didn’t want to make Temi wonder why... But deep in their minds, they were going crazy.

’Tsk! That son of a bitch is a playboy,’ Malik shouted inwardly.

’Huhu! Interesting,’ Brenner thought.

Temi then furrowed her brows and asked, "What’s the problem? Why are you asking for him?"

"Well... With due respect, ma’am. That’s none of your business. We just have to know where he is. We just want to have a small chat with him," Malik said with that stern look on his face, leaving Temi with no option but to shrug.

"Well, he is not home at the moment. He went on a business trip," she told them casually, revealing that she no longer had time for this conversation.

Brenner and Malik’s faces darkened.

’Business trip my ass! That guy must have taken Camilia somewhere,’ Malik thought, his rage growing.

’He dares not harm her or else I’m gonna cut his veins and make him bleed to death,’ he said with a strong frown and turned to Brenner.

"Bren, what’s the next move?"

"We get more info on his whereabouts. I’m pretty sure he is not on a business trip. He is with Lady Cammy," Brenner said with a tone of confidence and walked away.

Malik attempted to follow suit, but before he did, he threw a very harsh glance at Temi, who also slowly got frightened as she was confused by many thoughts.

"Lady Cammy? Who’s that?" she wondered, watching the men walk out of the building.

"Jayden wouldn’t lie to me. He is on a business trip. I believe him," she nodded after thinking wide for a while.

She judged that perhaps these men were lost or had asked for another Jayden Cole. She couldn’t help gathering that Jayden was where he told her he was going, and that... That was due to her flawless Affection rate.

"These men were the liars here, screw them," she muttered before entering her supercar and driving off.

While driving, she didn’t forget to play her favourite song, "Sky Dance" by Mike Nurah. It was a song telling a fictional story about threats from other worlds trying to destroy human civilization until the saviors of Earth came forward.

The term "Sky Dance" referred to the war between humans and the threat, a war that nature had never experienced.

It was fiction, and indeed Temi loved fictional songs and stories. She loved reading novels too, and it was one of her hobbies.

However, one insane wish on her mind was that the world should experience the "Sky Dance" someday, while she’s still alive.

It was a crazy thought, though; she was just dying to see other races aside from humans.

What could one expect from an avid fiction lover?

Camilia was set to leave after two days with Jayden. Frankly, they both had had a great time together even though it was short.

About Camilia’s request to marry her and get her pregnant? Jayden termed that as "crazy," but he knew he shouldn’t have gone straight to saying no to that.

He simply told her that he’d think about it, and even though Camilia looked so eager, he tried to stand his ground.

The system already told him that building the harem also has to do with marrying the harem members, but there were no issues with not marrying them either.

As far as their affection was high, he was good. So definitely the choice to marry any of the harem members would be his.

"I will miss you, Jayden," Camilia said with a faint look, her eyes deeply sincere.

"Same, Cammy. But it’s okay. We will always meet up from time to time. Come on," Jayden replied, cheering her up.

Camilia hesitated before nodding. Then she went ahead and gave him a final hug and a sweet, soft kiss before entering her car.

Jayden waved as she drove off, their eyes still locking as she slowly moved until she was out of sight.

While Camilia drove, a thought flashed in.

"Time to time he said... The banquet would be happening in ten days. If my father forces me to meet with Kael, it might be too late," Camilia said, her face filled with frustration.

But on one mind, she was bold... That mind always shouting aloud, inwardly.

"I’ll never let that happen. The Royals can go to hell... It’s love, Jayden, and I’m going to marry..."

"...Even if it would cost me my place as the Frost heir."

That was a hard decision, but somehow, she had chosen a side!

Jayden, who was back in the living room, settled on the couch.

All this while, he had been thinking about what happened at the Vanes’ home, but he hadn’t for once thought about something strange he had been told when they visited Old Texas.

"When she comes, forgive her."

Jayden froze in shock as his heart beat hard.

That was actually the statement Lydia made before he left Old Texas with the DEA officers and Melinda.

That was indeed associated with the current controversy here. That same day, Jayden saw his mother...

Plus, she pleaded for his forgiveness, which he had promised himself he would never do...

If truly Lydia was referring to Naylah, then it was strange...

Does Lydia know about his family and how his mother left him?

Or was she a seer?

’Tsk! That’s mythic,’ Jayden thought.

But it still left him surprised.

Even if she was a seer, why would she want him to forgive the woman who abandoned him as a child for fourteen years?

There must be more to this... Jayden believed.
