-Booooooooom!

A slash of green aura possessing not wind like, but instead fluid like properties was shot at a training equipment and it, after hitting the simple white surface of the deceive, a certain number appeared on the artifact.

[1203]

{ "Not bad. But you could still improve it." }

An elder female voice filled with motherly love, a Mana voice coming from a small, golden furball encouraged the tall lizardman.

The motherly voice then advised him to put more focus on not the fact that he was going to use his Aura, but on how his only goal here was not get a certain number on the plate, to control the energy output in a way that would bring a certain number on the screen.

The instructions that Mave gave to Zuroro were pretty simple. She did not even tell him do anything extra ordinary, and yet, simply thankss to her words of guidance and encoragemenet, the very next attack that the lizardman made on the same artifact…

[1200]

Produced the result that they had been looking for.

{ "Good work, mister!" }

Mave jumped up with excitement and even the lizardman that did not show much emotions outwardly most of the time, started jumping up and down like some young kid.

"Hehe."

Miss Moon, watching the two, could not help her happiness. The two had been training for this precise number since the last two hours. What they were trying to achieve through this was not perfection in Zuroro's precision, but a solid state of mental control.

Mave, as the one in charge of the training of each and every individual in this tower, had dedicated much of her time to nurture the Lizardman and tigress alongside the rest of the people. And everyone was thankful to her expertise that made them learn things much faster than what could have been the usual case.

"Now than…"

A mental connection with one's power was fundamental to precision and the understanding of one's innate strengths. Without the oneness of mind and power, one could not achieve an equal harmony between the innate and outer balances.

"What shall I do now?" She wandered as she put down the broken magic wand and glanced at the similar training boards that were lined up before her right now.

[100] [110] [120] [130] … [210]

There were many measuring plates before her right now and each one of them was showing a different number, something she had achieved in a much shorter time than the lizardman.

While the lizardman was going to need a lot more practice to learn the precise control of his Aura, while not having an output power similar to the lizardman, she still scored decently enough compared to the tiger that gave up on this particular training after only ten minutes.

She could neither control the output mode of her elemental release, nor could she lock down on a certain amount of strength that she needed in that particular moment.

"Since you can lock down on only one frequency at a time, changing them in quick succession drains much more energy if you cannot understand your energy enough."

Unlike their masters, they would still need a lot more time to create a hundred different types of frequencies in any order. Eon could do it because he had spent days, perhaps weeks practicing this one thing under higher difficulties. The reason he did not mistakenly use a spell that he did not need at any moment or did not use more energy, Aura, Mana, or Solnova than he needed, was precisely because of the connection that he had established with his energies.

She was able to produce eleven different frequencies without any mistakes, but they were still ten points apart from one another. Unlike him who could change the frequencies to the third of the decimal point a hundred times without mistake, she still had a long way to go.

"What should I do now though…?"

Since she was done with today's training as well, and since Mave and Zuroro were going to continue until he could produce at least two more different frequencies in succession, she didn't really have anything to do.

Miss Moon was just sitting there in the training area where everyone was doing something else in a different room.

Carla, Alf, and their grandpa was training in the simulation area, their great Aunt was somewhere else, Taika raged out earlier so she must be in the open plains on the upper floors once again, and while Rein must still be busy finding Eon's hidden room, she did not know what to do.

"Hmmm…"

She did not want to go and disturb Zoe who was already doing so much, and she needed to do something at the very least to work on the hidden potentials that she had.

She needed to learn fighting techniques from Sir Zahavi, she needed to learn energy control from the familiar of Miss Mime, she needed to find and see if there were any good weapons for her in the tower, and she needed to look after the matters that her master had asked her of.

She had work, but at the same time, nothing to do for the time being. So… since there was nothing much to do, she decided to go to the library on the higher floor and look for the books to learn something new from.

"Oh, hey."

But just as she was going out of the training ground, Taika, who had stomped out because of the training method, came back and almost bumped into Miss Moon who was walking out of the simple door.

"Back already?"

"Umm… yeah." Taika had an embarrassed look on her face right now. She needed to improve like the rest of them as well, use the good resources in this place and grow stronger. She knew what she needed to do and what she should do, but… there was nothing she could do right.

"You're going out? Are you done already?" Taika looked behind Miss Moon and spotted the twelve plates that did not have the numbers anymore, but since the twelve were still there, she guessed how much Miss Moon might have improved in the time Taika was gone.

"Twelve? Really? I wasn't even out for more than a few hours!"

She did not like how Miss Moon was good with so many things. She had not paid much attention to her before, but ever since they did that affinity evaluation when they got here, she had been seeing this person in a new light.

And ever since they had started training together, she had been completely outperformed by her in every single training they had been doing.

"Umm… well… it wasn't really that difficult for me, Miss Taika-."

"How many times do I have to tell you to just call me by my name? This Miss and all… we don't need that."

Miss Moon was a nice person, someone that had been improving faster than anyone else among them.

She was already at (tier-6) in her Mana levels, she was also able to control the dark energy from a different dimension, and if that wasn't enough, she had different kinds of powers that she could use just as well as her Mana.

She was good with a lot of things, perhaps, that was why Eon had kept her so close to him. And since she was so close to him, it was only natural that she should also be close with her as well.

"Umm, I mean I don't intend to offend you or anything but-."

"No buts. Just call me Taika. It's no big deal anyway."

She did not understand why she was so nervous around her. She was also only like this around her so, this was pretty strange to Taika.

Still, she wanted to try and make this a little better. She was always performing better while Taika could not even use her own powers properly, much less help someone else with anything.

So, since she was so good…

"This won't do. You know what? Let's go for a walk."

She needed to teach her as well, help her get a little better at at least something Taika believed she was a little good at.

So, without even getting her answer, she grabbed her hand and pulled her hand as she quickly walked up to the center of the room.

Getting into the lift, she checked to see if she had hurt Miss Moon with her previous actions— since she was the stronger one in terms of strength, she knew even the simpler things could hurt her.

But that was not the case. Miss Moon was fine, though her wrist surely hurt a little. Which was still manageable so she told Taika it was fine.

Then, pressing a few numbers on the lift that she had memorized with much difficulty, she brought Miss Moon to her favorite place of this tower, on the 7th floor, the Field of Crops.

It was a vast grassland filled with all kinds of plants, with all kinds of long, colorful grass. It was fun being here. The air was fresh and everything was refreshing.

Instead of closed training rooms, she liked running around these vast fields more.

There was freedom in these grasslands. A sense of belonging she could not explain.

"So, I want you to help me with this trick I am working on, ok?" Taika was not being forceful but this was all just too sudden for Miss Moon.

She thought about what to answer with, but since she still could not come to terms with the fact that she was a… tiger, she simply nodded her head.

And agreed to whatever she wanted her help with.
