Kaijin Fighter: So I Have to Make Monsters, So What?-Chapter 1253: Messing With the Machinations of Others
Once all of the enemy warriors were defeated, it took the Kaijin less than a second to ungag and free the girls from captivity. However, it took a little longer for apologies to be shared and emotional damages to be addressed.
"My friends. I would like to formally apologize for getting kidnapped and being the lynchpin for our capture," Harriet told the others in an apologetic voice. "I should've been more aware of my surroundings."
"It's not your fault," Alice assured her Radiant Feather counterpart. "None of us were expecting that enemy Bloodliner to move fast enough that we couldn't see him. Where is he, by the way? I wish to repay for him damages rendered."
"Uhhh..."Razorstella trailed off as she looked over the defeated members of the Silver Jungle Dragon Shipping Company. "I think I may have already snipped his tendons like guitar strings in need of replacement."
"Damn, I wanted to do that," Alice clicked her tongue in disappointment.
Shortly after this exchange of words, the Kaijin and the Rainbow Phoenix Academy group began to coordinate their next plan of action.
"First off, Razorstella, Springerdermain and Screamira. Thank you for rescuing us," Alicia thanked with a bow.
"No problem, Consort."
"We simply did our duty."
"The director would've wanted us to."
"Speaking of him," Bellona interjected. "What's the current situation? The fact that we were taken hostage like this implies that things aren't going well..."
"Well..."
The kaijin proceeded to explain everything that had occurred in the last few hours or so, making sure not to miss any important details.
That stated, there were a lot of crazy details.

"So...in the span of a few hours, Kidanna, Zhen Liu's friends, Zhen Xing, Zhen Tai and Zhen Liu himself, all got captured by the Silver-tongues after those aforementioned bastards decided to take up an alliance with...the fragment of a broken deity," Bellona summarized.
"Yes," all the Kaijin nodded.
"Huh..."
"Is this Zhen Liu's weird-ass luck kicking in or is this just a coincidence," Alice asked Alicia.
"Honestly, it could be either or at this point."
"Hmmm."
"Wait, y'all forgot about the important part about all of this," Screamira piped up after all of the explanations were given.
"Oh?"
"They don't know that we exist," Screamira answered while gesturing towards Razorstella, herself and Springerdermain.
"Oh. Oooohhh."
"Welp, I think I know what we need to do next."
"Divide and conquer?"
"Divide and motherfucking conquer."
...Now back to the Present...
One of the most jarring things for a warrior to deal with in their life, was the sudden reversal of what should've been an assured victory.
The enemy leader, Kidanna Dodorado, was captured.
Most of the allies she had brought, were also captured.
On top of all of that, the entire Golden Gorilla Union expedition team was unaware that any of this has occured.
As such, when the sound of various aether-based explosions began to echo above their heads, the warriors of the Silver Jungle Dragon Shipping Company were thrown for a loop.
As far as they were aware, the only force in the area that would've been a major threat to them was the expedition squad that accompanied the Golden Gorilla Union's leader, and they had her as a hostage at this moment. Ergo, even if the Goldenbacks organized an attack against them, they could just threaten Kidanna's life and bring the fighting to a swift end.
Unfortunately, that particular tactic was going to be a little less than useless against their current attackers.
^Master Alfonzo! Duke Diamoro!^ A warrior that was on the surface yelled in a panicked voice as he ran down into the underground throneroom. ^We have a situation.^
^We hear it.^
^How many enemy combatants are attacking us now?^
^I'm not entirely sure, but they have us outnumbered!^
^Wait, what?^
This bit of information was news to the leaders of the Silver-tongues, because they were fairly certain they outnumbered the Goldenbacks.
^What do you mean we're outnumbered?!^
_______Outnumbered indeed...____________
[Do you feel bad about the fact that we're just flooding these guys with zakos as opposed to taking them out ourselves?] Screamira asked Razorstella.
[Nah. We need to give our zakos some battle experience anyways.]
[True.]
[Speaking of zakos, did you guys send in your personal proteges in there yet or nah?] Springerdermain asked.
[I'm waiting for a more worthy challenge.]
[Same.]
...
^Holy shit, what the fuck are these things?!^
[RAAARRGGH!]
The Silver-Tongue warriors that were placed in guard duty assumed that they were essentially being paid to do nothing for a few hours.
Half of their enemies were captured for some unknown reason, while the other half of their enemies were completely in the dark about the status of the former.
Under these conditions, the Silver-tongues were completely caught off-guard when a whole boatload of mysterious monster warriors suddenly appearing from the jungle and charging at them like mindless berserkers.
At first, the defending warriors assumed the berserkers to be mad monsters or stupid opportunists that failed to realize that they were outmatched. Especially after their senses told them that these warriors were about as strong as Aether Acolytes.
As such, they attempted to use a variety of ranged aether arts to destroy the charging warriors. However, once they saw that their attacks did absolutely nothing, that's when they realized they were in trouble.
^None of our arts are working, why?!^
^Wait! I think just brute force is working!^
^Easier said than done, I can barely touch some of these guys!^
The monstrous warriors attacking the Silver-tongues could be boiled down to three main types of entities that were causing them hell.
The first group were strange skeletal warriors that weren't exactly hollow, but had this strange black energy that provided them mass and structure. Not only that, but they were armed with strangley powerful yet crude weapons made of bones.
More than one enemy warrior attempted to use a shield or block the attack with their own weapons, only to have them break due to the sheer brute force behind the bone weapons.
Occasionally, one of these boney warriors would release a soul piercing wail that would momentarily stun their targets before they were swiftly dispatched with a blow to the head.
The second group were strange metallic warriors that had mottled bodies that vaguely reminded on-lookers of starry night skies and were armed with strangley showy scimitars. Combined with their strange dance-like movements, these metallic warriors were like spinning nightmares.
Evidently, more than one of the Silver-tongues found themselves momentarily dazed before being swiftly chopped down like a tree in the forest.
And last, but certainly not least, were even more metallic warriors, but these ones were significantly more colorful and had spring-like limbs.
This particular set of warriors moved like acrobats, clowns really, and used a variety of tricky and strange movements to lay the smackdown on the Silver-tongues left, right and center.
Their opponents felt like they were clowns in a three ring circus, but they were the butt of all of the jokes.
If nothing changed soon, the Silver-tongue warriors guarding the stairwell to the underground throneroom would be overwhelmed and the invading monstrous warriors would ruin everything.
(Un)fortunately, something did change.
In fact, multiple things happened all at once that made this entire battle even more chaotic.
^Alright, I've had it up to here with these guys!^
^Agreed!^
[Regalia, manifest!]
Several of the warriors guarding the entrance were Aether Grandmasters, but they had decided to hold back because they had initially thought it was waste of energy to use their [Regalia] against a bunch of Aether Acolytes.
Once they realized that these warriors were anything but normal though, they figured that going all out was well worth the shame of having to go all out on weaker opponents.
However, shortly after they had activated their [Regalia], a sudden surge in unknown energy caused their senses to go off like crazy.
^What the hell?!^
Which is when the Grandmasters present saw that yet another strange group of warriors was starting to approach them.
[Groan...]
One of the strange warriors appeared to have a feminine figure, but had a spectral look to them and a wicked looking bone mask that appeared to be only part of her that was solid. As well, they had this aura of death around them that just felt...wrong.
[Hehehe...]
Another of the warriors looked a lot like the spring-limbed warriors that were attacking the others, but they had a clear rabbit motif going on with them as well as a floppy hat that gave off a jester feeling.
[Woo...Woo...]
The weirdest of the bunch though was a pair of twins that were acting like one warrior, as one was riding the shoulders of the other.
The one on top had long, oversized arms and a fierce face, while the one at the bottom had long, powerful legs and a dour demeanor.
Needless to say, this group of monsters were anything but ordinary to everyone's senses.
