Legendary Traveler: By Earning Progress Points I will Become Supreme!-Chapter 281: Road to Becoming a Village (4)
"And even if they come out of the flume weak, with your Points, you can upgrade them into a force strong enough to carve out your place in this world."
"Uh…Char, aren't you getting a bit ahead of yourself here? I am far too weak to utilize the high-grade stones…" Aoni rebutted while scratching his cheek sheepishly.
"…hey stupid, you HAVE THOSE BATTERIES REMEMBER!"
"Oh shit, you right," Wide eyes filled with surprise met dead fish eyes, and it was at that moment, a plan was put in motion that could potentially shake the fate of not one but two worlds.

"Now you're sure all of these stones represent enough people to fill your quota, right?" Charlotte asked while standing beside her brother in the basement of his Manor.
"Ugh, for the thousandth time YES, ever since I was filled in on how to classify them, and got that update to my Inspection Notice, all I need is a look at the damn things before knowing exactly what I am dealing with."
"Well, excuse me for wanting to verify, hmph," Crossing her arms over her chest, Charlotte moved across the room to the opposite side of the Flume, pulled out an expensive Recliner, plopped down, and waved at Glacia to hop into her lap.
'Since when was nagging the same thing as verifying,' Aoni grumbled to himself, because he knew the quickest way to turn Char into a mini version of Clara was to piss her off.
"These seven Ark Stones will net me a total of 28 subordinates, more than enough to attain my Lord's Display." He mused while picking up the first stone and rolling it around his palm.
"By the way, you never fully explained what you were looking for in the rune." One hand resting on the recliner's armrest and the other rhythmically petting the floof, Charlotte stated, causing Aoni to scoff.
"That's because there's way too much information to say aloud. Hell, three days after learning it all, my brain still hurts. It was like cramming before finals all over again."
"Regardless, Grade-1 Stones bring out the lowest caste of beings, small slave families, Grade-2 is low caste, basically your common peasant, Grade-3 true commoners, Grade-4 middle caste, so on and so on, until we reach the one with a black rune, which I'm pretty sure is the Royals."
"And it keeps going up from the higher grade stones, but there's more to it, like bloodlines and how diluted they are." Shrugging his shoulders, Aoni picked up the first of the Ark Stones, one with an Orange Rune, and showed it to Charlotte, who in turn smirked and released a small laugh of self-deprecation.
"Heh, it's us."
"Pfft, stoooop," fighting back a laugh of his own, Aoni pulled out one of his Accumulators and held it in one hand, with the Ark stone in the other.
"Tell me I'm wrong, Ao, or do you want me to relate our family situation to that of, say, the Greys?" Charlotte responded while hiding her mouth behind a hand.
"What, haha, ever, anyways, the first one is gonna be Grade-3 *Orange* that way I will have some people who can organize and lead the others, think of them as like Managers at a store, while the Reds would be basic employees." Rolling his eyes, Aoni utilized his Siphon passive to implant the Energia from his Accumulator and pass it over to the Ark Stone.
It was a slow process, so while he allowed it to work its magic, Aoni's eyes drifted toward his Inspection Display to fill time.
| Inspection Display |
Name: Ark Stone of Humanoid Summoning: Varnithm
AMP: Priceless
Energia Cost: 10,000 Units E-Grade Energia
Description: A Stone of summoning that will bring forth a family of 3 True Commoners of the Varnithm Race (Hybrid Frost Elves: Snow, Glacial, Ice, and Tundra Bloodline).
1: Male (221 years: Grade-6 Potential)
2: Female (209 years: Grade 4-Potential, 4 years: Growth)
Primary Use: Summoning Beings
'Although it's a small family, I'm getting a 6-Star summon out of it, so that's fine…even so, it was because of my ID, I finally found out what made these elves different from any other race, its not one but four different bloodlines merged into a single line.' Aoni thought before cutting off the flow of Energia to the Ark Stone.
Then, with a shattering sound as he crushed the stone and a flash of light, he initiated the summoning process, and within a minute, three beings stood before him: a young man who looked to be in his early 20s and a woman around the same age carrying a small child.
Long crystalline white hair, pale blue skin, and long pointed ears with the exact same markings on them he'd seen in the Echo—yep, these new summons were exactly as he was hoping.
"We greet our Lord," Stepping forward and showing utmost respect for Aoni, the young man crossed his right arm over his body and made a gesture with his hand similar to the OK sign while bowing deeply.
"Um…hi!" Unsure of how to react to the decorum being directed toward him, Aoni felt the LoS solidifying with all three of his new summons before asking the obvious question on his mind.
"If you don't mind me asking, how much do you remember of your past?"
"Tsk, Ao…" Behind him, the sound of Charlotte facepalming and clicking her tongue caused Aoni to flinch slightly because this was EXACTLY what she had warned him not to say.
Yet against her words, the idiot went ahead and did it anyway.
"My lord, although I don't fully understand what you mean by past, I can only tell you that apart from basic knowledge of my race, my class, and personal abilities, everything I know comes from our shared bond."
"Ah…I see, so you were a Soldier…" Glancing at his Summon's Display, Aoni was surprised to find that, unlike what he expected this summon's class to be, AKA him being kind of racist and assuming elves would be Rangers, this 6-Star guy was actually a Swordsman.
