Limitless The Strongest Revenant-Chapter 1003: A really long time [2/2]
"And yet you ignored us as my brothers, and I were ravaged by demons."
"That's... That's because..." Nomvula clenched her fists. Frustration etched lines across her brow. She struggled to articulate her thoughts.
"Save it, Induna. I know what your orders are. And unless you wish to die, go home. You have fulfilled your duty by dueling Limitless."
"Grrr… You've become arrogant, Olamide! Do you take pleasure in betraying your family? Your own continent for sea scum?! The master you have chosen to serve is in league with monsters! If we leave them alone, they will ravage our home!"
"I was not the one who betrayed Africa first, Induna. My mother and I both suffered grim fates all because of our duty. I have repaid Africa enough. Now I live for myself. To win this war, if I need to fight against my brothers, then I shall do so!"
"Hmph! Then do as you wish! You four, do you feel the same way as Olamide? You will betray the throne all because of one good deed?"
The other princes hardly made a sound but instead shifted to their soulforms. Nomvula and Olamide followed suit. Chaos erupted as the five princes lunged at Nomvula. Their actions showed everyone where their loyalties lay.

But I could hardly care about any of that. It was pretty troublesome to hear so much stuff because of my {Fate}. It grew harder to concentrate.
'Exa, mute my ears but relay to me anything of importance.'
[Understood.]
The cacophony of screams faded into an eerie silence, a void that clawed at my senses and left me unsettled. But this must be what high-end Peltor headsets sound like. Regaining my peace of mind, I turned to see the army before me.
Sabel's four Mangusta's and switchblades. Henry's MAARs and Ripsaws. And finally Alfonso's Challenger Two. It was enough firepower to take over a small city. And they all left whatever they were doing at my call.
If I sent them to end the Africans or Nomvula, it would be a cinch. But that wasn't what I needed. What I needed now was to ensure I could go as wild as I wanted.
"Children."
"Yes, Daddy|Pops|Father!"
"Ensure the pig does not die. Ensure his mind does not break. Ensure his soul does not collapse. Use whatever you have at your disposal. Can you do that?"
"YES!" x3
"Exa."
"Yes, my lord?"
"Tell me if there is anything that merits my attention."
"Does the Siren's taking potshots at your brother using meteors count?"
Despite hearing the questionable statement, I knew I had nothing to worry about. If my girls were serious, they would have nuked my brother, not just taken potshots at him. Thus, as long as they weren't hurt, it hardly mattered.
"No, it does not."
Without another word, my soul avatars and I drew closer to the pig. It had been almost five good minutes, and it still wasn't waking up. My avatars and I dispersed and moved to strike different targets.
Monday and Tuesday moved towards the boar's face. Wednesday to Saturday moved to each leg near the elbow joints. One of each leg. Sunday moved towards the back near the boar's massive balls.
All together we took a wide stance and drew back our arms as if we were wielding baseball bats. I could feel my feet sink to the ground, although my bones and muscles didn't feel too much weight.
'Exa, tell me about the {Fates} on this thing.'
[As the spikes are made of Faker greatswords, nothing could be invoked on them. But the metallic ball and the shaft have the {Withstand}, {Carry}, and {Eat} families on them.]
Exa then sent into my brain the info on what {Fates} were on the weapon. They aimed to break common sense and the limits enforced by physics. They supplemented the already powerful Faker greatsword spikes and made them even deadlier.
Having the {Withstand} family meant my mace did not suffer from rebound energy. {Endure}, {Block}, and {Shelter} would protect my weapon from damage. While my strike would bash the boar, little to no counterforce would make it into my hand.
With the {Carry}, the weapon's handling would greatly improve. {Pack} would reduce the mace's weight. {Hike} and {Float} would make my swings more aerodynamic. {Crush} would do the opposite, increasing the weapon's power upon impact.
For {Eat}, the abilities were {Gather}, {Carve}, {Butcher}, and {Dope}. {Gather} memorizes a target's information. {Carve} grants critical hits on those recorded by {Gather}. {Butcher} and {Dope} restore and boost my attack power from targets with {Carve}.
I didn't want to invoke my Disciplines as it would cause performance issues. It was better to have all my soul avatars on the same baseline as Sunday. Besides, this was not a battle. But just a one-sided beat down.
"Good. With the kids and Exa, on medic duty, he should last longer. It's been a really long time since I let loose. Let's begin! Don't die, okay?"
Taking a deep breath, I braced my core. I gripped the handle hard and then tensed my muscles. I drew power from the ground. Driving my toes down, I felt the ground give way! As if like a river, power channeled from the soles of my feet to my shins, then to my legs.
This was the first time I could "feel" the power surge through my body inch by inch. I didn't know exactly what was going on, but I surrendered myself to the feeling. Using my body to guide the energy, I directed it from my legs up to my knees and into my thighs.
Like a whip, my leg extended and pushed my upper body forward. As the potential energy ran up my torso, it amplified. I flexed my back and sent the force to my shoulders, up my arms before I could feel our Faker Maces begin to move.
As if they were fish darting along the river, I felt no wind resistance. Despite the massive size and weight of my weapon, the tip began to tilt and added its might to my swing. I could feel the energy combined together, which caused my arms to move even faster.
"BOOOOM!" x7
I suddenly heard a loud thunderclap along the length of my mace. Seven sonic booms erupted at the same time. Yet I couldn't even be bothered with that. Right now, my entire body felt like it was on fire. Adrenaline coursed through my entire being as I moved.
It was as if, at that moment, my weapon and I were one. Despite the complexity of that one strike, my mind felt completely serene. Without any hesitation, I followed through with my swing!
With a thunderous bang, I felt the impact resonate with my body. Yet I pressed on, refusing to relent until the blow was fully realized.
Arching my back, I placed everything into this one blow. I then saw flesh tear, smelled blood spill, and heard bone shatter. As if shot by a .50 cal, the pig's balls suddenly exploded. The same thing happened to my avatars.
Only a thin piece of bone along the center of the boar's skull remained. Both the right and left sides of its face disappeared. All four of the Reaper's limbs were blown off! Its gigantic, tree trunk-like legs flew in different directions.
The boar could even scream. My trance ended at that moment; my ears began to hear the desperate cries of Exa and my children.
[CODE FAMILY! REVIVE IT NOW!]
[WOW! Pops went wild!]
[DADDDY IS SO COOOLLL!!!!]
[Quiet, you two! Grandmother marked the brain matter below the neck. {Restore} it immediately! If Father attacks again, the boar will surely die!]
Cannons, missiles, and large caliber bullets rained on the corpse of the boar. Within seconds, more than half of the damage I caused was healed. But I wasn't done. Desperate to reenact that one blow, I moved once more.
"Again!"
