AFTER THE phone call that Kim Heedo received from Lim Garam, he immediately drove to Ilsung Group’s Emergency Office. As its name suggested, it was the team that was in charge of all emergency cases that they didn’t want the police involved.

When he arrived there, he saw Lim Garam talking on the phone.

"Yes, your apology and punishment can wait later," Heedo said impatiently. "Have you found Sohee Hyung yet?"

"We haven’t found his location yet, but we already have a clue. To be precise, we already know who kidnapped Park Sohee-nim."

"And who would that be?"

Shin Kang gulped nervously, and it looked like he wanted to cover his nose with his hand because of Heedo’s oozing pheromones. "It’s Jin Taejoon, Young Master."

When Sohee opened his tired eyes, he felt healed right away after seeing Gunwoo’s angelic face.

The baby’s eyes were red and swollen.

But, other than that, the child looked safe.

Sohee cleared his throat before speaking. "Are you alright, Gunwoo-ya?"

Gunwoo shook his head. "I want my daddies..."

Sohee got up slowly, his body still feeling a bit sluggish.

He touched the back of his head and realized that he had a huge bandage there. Whoever tried to fix his wound didn’t do a good job. That also meant that he didn’t receive proper care after his head got smashed by a blunt object.

Sohee looked around to devise an escape plan, but that seemed impossible.

The place seemed to be a make-shift room inside a container based on the "walls." There were no windows, but there was a door.

Moreover, the only furniture there was the bed where Sohee and Gunwoo were sitting on.

I can hear voices outside, and smell the stinky pheromones of the Alphas there.

There were at least two evil Alphas out there, so escaping would be difficult.

Sohee’s train of thought was cut off when the door suddenly burst open. He immediately grabbed Gunwoo and hugged the child protectively.

"Jin Taejoon, are you really that fearless?" Sohee asked the bastard Alpha coldly. "Didn’t the Ilsung Group already warn you not to touch me?"

"You were the one who came to me, though?"

"Excuse me?"

Jin Taejoon smirked, and then he pointed at Gunwoo. "We only needed that child. But you didn’t faint when you drank the coffee spiked with a drug that was meant to knock out Omegas with a single sip."

Was that why Lim Garam lost consciousness?

I wasn’t probably affected by the drug because I’m a Dominant Omega.

"You saw the nanny kidnap the child. We were supposed to make it look like the nanny was kidnapped while protecting that little heir. But our plan was ruined when you saw everything," Jin Taejoon explained, shrugging. "My subordinates panicked, so they grabbed you and brought you here. Worse, those morons even forgot to erase the CCTV footage in the café."

That was a relief.

If Kim Heedo and the others check the CCTV footage, then they’ll find out that the nanny is one of the kidnappers.

Yes, Sohee was confident that Kim Heedo was already looking for him.

And I know that they’ll find us soon.

"You look calm even though you were kidnapped, Park Sohee," Jin Taejoon said, smirking. "Are you no longer afraid of me?"

"My husband will kill you," Sohee said bluntly. "He already warned you that he’d kill you if you touched me, didn’t he? It doesn’t matter whether I "came to you," Kim Heedo would still kill you."

"I already lost everything after my father disowned me and made my stupid half-brother his successor. Do you think your little threat will scare me?"

Sohee just kept his mouth shut this time.

He didn’t want to say this, but the crazed look on Jin Taejoon’s eyes was scaring him.

A man with nothing to lose is a dangerous man, so I have to be careful. I shouldn’t run off my mouth. Kim Heedo will come and save me, so I should buy time.

"We only need the child— we won’t kill him."

Sohee hugged Gunwoo tighter.

"Who?" Sohee asked, pushing his luck. "Who dares to mess with the SG Group heir?"

"Park Sohee, I’m not that stupid. I know what you’re doing," Jin Taejoon said, grabbing Sohee by the arm. "I’ll answer your question if you use your body to seduce the answers out of me."

Haaah.

Of course, Jin Taejoon’s words sent shivers down Sohee’s spine.

Evil people really don’t change.

This bastard just signed his death warranty.

Sohee shot Jin Taejoon a cold glance.

I’ll kill this bastard the first chance I get.
