Married For Now-Chapter 119: MIRACLE BABY
Chapter 119: MIRACLE BABY
"HYUNG-NIM, you raised a brave little boy," Sohee said to Lim Garam. "He was the one who saved me first when Jin Taejoon tried to rape me."
He was able to say the R-word without hesitation because he wasn’t in the room with Gunwoo.
Sohee and Lim Garam stepped out of the room to get some fresh air in the rooftop garden of the hospital. The two of them felt awkward that Shin Kang and Jung Han (Song Sihyuk’s most trusted subordinate, apparently) followed them along with a few bodyguards.
But what could they do?
We have overprotective husbands.
Thankfully, the bodyguards had the decency to stand out of earshot.
Anyway...
The breeze was a bit chilly because it was a cold night, but the view of the blinking lights from the skyscrapers around them was beautiful.
"But that’s why I feel guilty, Hyung-nim," Sohee said, fiddling with his hands. "Because Gunwoo protected me, he fell sick. I’m sure he got a high fever because he used his pheromones to suppress Jin Taejoon back then. I’m sorry, Hyung-nim. Your son got sick because he protected me instead of the other way around."
He felt ashamed, but also grateful.
But the shame was heavier since the baby got sick because of him.
"Sohee-ssi."
"Yes, Hyung-nim?"
"Don’t you think my son is strange?" Lim Garam asked nervously. "He manifested early as an Alpha. As you already know, I’m not a natural Omega, so..."
"Yes, Hyung-nim. Gunwoo is strange."
Lim Garam turned to Sohee and gave him a look of disbelief.
"Oh, I don’t mean it in a bad way, Hyung-nim," Sohee explained because he had a feeling Lim Garam was about to strangle him for calling his baby ’strange.’ "In the first place, I don’t see being ’strange’ or ’different’ from the norm as a bad thing. As long as you’re not hurting other people, I’m cool with you. That’s why I don’t mind even if Gunwoo is different from kids his age. He’s a baby with a kind and brave soul. That’s how I see him."
Thankfully, Lim Garam’s face instantly relaxed.
I was worried our bodyguards might start fighting as well if I made Hyung-nim upset.
"And, oh, that also applies to you, Hyung-nim," Sohee said carefully. "It doesn’t matter to me that you’re not a natural Omega. You’re still a hyung-nim I respect. I started as your fan because I liked your voice. But now, I like you as a person, Hyung-nim." ƒree𝑤ebnσvel.com
"Thank you for saying that, Sohee-ssi," Lim Garam said shyly. "And thank you for accepting my son without prejudice."
"Can we hang-out again after this, Hyung-nim?"
"Were you not traumatized?" Lim Garam said, half-joking and half-serious. "You got kidnapped while hanging out with me."
"Nah, that wasn’t my first time getting kidnapped."
"For real?"
"For real."
"Damn. No wonder Kim Heedo is so overprotective of you."
"Hehe."
Sohee could only giggle like a maiden in love because he liked it when people could tell that Kim Heedo cared about him.
It makes me want to kick my feet while rolling on bed.
Anyway, there was a reason why Sohee was ready to risk hanging out with Lim Garam aside from the fact that Lim Garam was his idol.
But he had to ask for Kim Heedo’s permission first.
I have to ask my husband if I can tell Garam Hyung-nim about the fact that he might be a Hyper-Dominant Alpha.
Sohee wanted to tell Lim Garam because he thought Song Sihyuk was similar to Kim Heedo.
I want to ask Garam Hyung if his husband is also a Hyper-Dominant Alpha.
"Next time, let’s bring our husbands," Lim Garam said. "We’re safer with them whether we like to admit it or not."
Sohee nodded in agreement. "Kim Heedo and Sihyuk-ssi seem to hate each other’s guts, but that’s their problem."
"Right?"
Sohee and Lim Garam looked at each other playfully, and then they laughed.
Unbeknownst to the two Omegas, Shin Kang (Kim Heedo’s right-hand man) and Jung Han (Song Sihyuk’s right-hand man) were both relieved that their bosses weren’t there or else, the two Dominant Alphas would surely get jealous seeing how Park Sohee and Lim Garam had grown closer.

"SERIOUSLY, OPPA. You’re forbidden from watching makjang from now on. I’m very serious."
Aigoo.
Sohee wanted to laugh at how cute Hong Sera was.
She’s trying to sound and look strict, but it’s not working since she’s cute.
But he didn’t laugh because he was actually touched the kids were seriously worried about him. He didn’t want Hong Sera and Cho Euntak to think that he wasn’t taking them seriously just because they were younger than him.
"I agree with Sera Noona, Hyung," Cho Euntak chimed in. "To be honest, I’m still processing the fact that your marriage with Heedo Sunbae-nim started as a contract marriage."
Ah, right.
After Lim Garam and Gunwoo went back to their room because Gunwoo fell asleep after their late dinner, the Crybabies finally got the chance to hang out together with just the three of them.
I decided to tell Cho Euntak the truth since I didn’t want him to feel left out. Hong Sera already knew about my contract marriage with Kim Heedo, after all.
"Hyung is like the main character in a youth series."
"You mean melodrama?" Sohee corrected Cho Euntak, smiling. "I’m too old to be the main character in a ’youth’ series."
Hong Sera and Cho Euntak both looked at him weirdly.
"Oppa, you’re only twenty-five years old."
"Right. There are older students than you at the university, Hyung. But you act like you’re ancient."
’Ancient.’
That was funny because that was how exactly Sohee felt.
It’s probably because I’ve gone through a lot of bullshit already.
"Hyung should just be enjoying your life as the husband of a chaebol heir," Cho Euntak said. "Now that Hyung and Heedo Sunbae-nim have genuine feelings for each other, you should be "filming" a romantic movie— not a thriller film. Please stop getting kidnapped, Hyung."
"Yah," Sohee complained lightly because he felt wronged. "You make it sound like I wanted to be kidnapped, brat."
Cho Euntak just avoided his gaze.
"Oppa, don’t pick on our Euntakie," Hong Sera said defensively, obviously taking their maknae’s side. "He’s right and you know that. Please tell me you’re not going to get too involved with your half-brother’s business."
Oh, yes.
Sohee already told Hong Sera and Cho Euntak about what Shin Kang reported to him earlier.
I wanted to let Kim Heedo know first, but the kids got worried when they saw the change in my complexion earlier. Even Garam Hyung-nim looked concerned, so I told them what happened. Of course, only after Gunwoo had fallen asleep.
"I’m not saying you shouldn’t help your half-brother, Oppa," Hong Sera said as if she was afraid Sohee would misunderstand her. "I’m just saying that you shouldn’t have to do everything by yourself. You can just send Ilsung Group’s legal representatives to help them."
Cho Euntak nodded in agreement. "Unless you want to mend your broken relationship with your mother, Hyung."
"Oh, of course," Hong Sera said, looking at Sohee as if she was trying to understand him. "Do you want to make up with your mother, Oppa?"
"I’m not sure," Sohee said. He felt comfortable enough around Hong Sera and Cho Euntak to open up to them, so he didn’t hold back. "My mother wasn’t as bad as my father, but I still resent her for leaving me with an incompetent father. I know she suffered a lot, but she had plenty of chances to save me after she got her life together— but she didn’t. That made it clear to me that she doesn’t want me."
Hong Sera and Cho Euntak looked like they didn’t know what to say to console Sohee.
But the kids didn’t have to say anything.
I’m already grateful for their concern.
"Having said that, I don’t want my half-brother to suffer when he doesn’t have to. He’s just a kid, and he needs help," Sohee said. Well, a high schooler wasn’t a kid. But every teenager was a kid in his eyes. "I may look like a pushover for caring, but I really can’t stand the injustice that he’s going through."
According to Shin Kang, Go Gunjoon— Sohee’s half-brother— hadn’t woken up yet after he fell off a building.
Fortunately, something broke his half-brother’s fall.
That was probably how Go Gunjoon survived.
I asked Mr. Shin to investigate whether it’s really suicide or if there’s a foul play involved.
"Oppa is really kind."
"Nah, I probably only care because I want to feel superior towards my mother," Sohee said, shrugging. "I want to show her that I’m living a better than life than her. Awful, right?"
"Hyung, whether your intention is pure or not, it won’t change the fact that you’re going to help your half-brother," Cho Euntak said carefully. "Hyung, you’re not a bad person like you think you are."
Hong Sera nodded in agreement. "Oppa, it’s okay to help people who don’t deserve it. Just think about it like you’re doing charity. You’ll accumulate good karma points by doing so."
Sohee couldn’t help but laugh— grateful that he had friends he could rely on. "Thank you, kids."

GOLD FLOWERS.
Ah, wait.
What were they called again?
Marigold?
Kim Heedo was driving slowly while looking for whatever store was still opened that late at night.
Thankfully, Sihyuk Hyung-nim and I parted ways already.
Anyway, Heedo didn’t want to visit Park Sohee at the hospital empty-handed, after all.
Those marigold flowers seemed like a good idea for a gift.
Sohee Hyung is obsessed with gold these days, so I’m sure he’ll like them. I’ll get him a flower made of real gold later. For now, those marigold flowers will do.
Heedo parked his car in front of the flower shop.
He was about to step out when he got a message.
From an unexpected person, at that.
Lee Junsu?
Ah, right.
Heedo remembered that he hadn’t changed his number yet.
<"I’m sorry for suddenly contacting you, Heedo-ya. But I’m currently sick, so...">
