Married For Now-Chapter 82: CONTRACT TERMINATION
Chapter 82: CONTRACT TERMINATION
SOHEE clicked his tongue while reading the text messages that he received from Hong Sera and Cho Euntak.
The two kids didn’t say anything in particular, but he could feel it.
I missed so much drama while I was having crazy sex for days.
Since Sohee still couldn’t walk properly, he was just rolling around on his bed while Kim Heedo was busy talking on the phone all day.
He should be busy, too.
After all, Cho Euntak sent him the assignments that he needed to work on. But his body was still sore.
Hence, Sohee was still lying on his stomach while scrolling on his social media account.
Lee Junsu and Sanha Hyung are trending again.
The reality show ’Just Got Married’ was a hit, after all.
Sohee muted the words ’Lee Junsu,’ ’Sanha,’ ’Kosmos,’ and ’Antiheroes’ for his peace of mind.
Let’s not attract bad vibes.
"Hyung, what do you want for dinner?" Kim Heedo asked when he sat on the bed, next to Sohee. "I’ll cook it for you."
"You’ve been cooking for me all day," Sohee said, lifting his head. "Should we just order delivery?"
"No," Kim Heedo said sternly. "What if the delivery person is a guy?"
"So what? We can just ask them to leave the food at the door."
"I still hate the idea of a man coming close to our place."
Aigoo.
Kim Heedo’s rut is already over, but he’s still acting like this.
An Alpha’s possessiveness was really a thing.
"Heedo-ya, you’re not going to suggest that we move to an isolated place for your next rut, are you?"
Kim Heedo’s face lit up for a moment, and then he shook his head. "As much as I love to monopolize Hyung on an isolated island, I don’t want you to be alone with me when there’s a chance I might lose myself again. I want Hyung to be able to call immediate help if I turn crazy during my rut."
Aww.
This kid is really a good partner.
"But island?" Sohee asked, distracted by what Kim Heedo said. "I only said isolated place. Why are you suddenly talking about an island?"
"Ah, I own a private island."
"Excuse me?"
"It was my parents’ gift when I was born. Of course, the twins were gifted their own islands, too, when they were born. It’s actually funny because Haewon and Hanhae hate the fact that our parents bought them twin islands."
Right.
I can’t relate.
"Heedo-ya, your parents are really generous, huh? Not all rich people are generous, not even to their own children."
"Yeah, and Abeoji is the most generous person in our family," Kim Heedo said, nodding. "As you said earlier, our family’s love language is giving gifts. That’s especially true for my father. He gave grand presents to my mother after our mother gave birth to us siblings. Even until now, it’s still a legendary story in their circle."
"Ah, I’ve heard about that. I think it’s called a push present."
It was a gift given by a spouse or a partner to a woman who had just given birth.
"So, you’re copying your father," Sohee said, teasing his husband. "You’re giving me an expensive gift for having crazy sex with you during your rut."
"Let’s just say my father is a good example when it comes to being a good provider," Kim Heedo said, pausing for a moment. "To be honest, I was worried that you might misunderstand my intention, Hyung. I didn’t want you to think that I was paying you for having sex with me."
"Well, what can I say? I’ve lowered my pride a long time ago."
"Hyung..."
"I’m not saying I don’t have self-respect anymore," Sohee explained because he didn’t want Kim Heedo to misunderstand. "I’m just saying that I’ve learned to accept help from people who genuinely want to help me. That I no longer think that they’re looking down on me whenever they offer help."
He hated asking for help in the past because he thought he was being looked down on.
That’s why I never accepted Ahn Yujae’s offer whenever he tried to pay for our trip, or every time he wanted to give me an expensive gift. I didn’t want him to see me as a pathetic person. So, my petty pride pushed him away.
"Hyung, why did you suddenly fall silent?"
"Ah, I was just thinking about Ahn Yujae."
Kim Heedo let out a growl. "Why are you thinking about your ex-boyfriend again?"
"I don’t criticize you when you talk about Lee Junsu, dude."
"..."
"And it’s not like I’m thinking about Ahn Yujae the same way I think about you," Sohee explained. "I just realized that I don’t want to make the same mistakes that I did that contributed to my and Ahn Yujae’s break up. After all, I want to be careful with our relationship, Heedo-ya."
Kim Heedo suddenly looked flustered.
Ah.
"Did it sound like a confession, Heedo-ya?"
Kim Heedo didn’t say anything, but the fact that he blushed was enough answer.
"Should we terminate the contract?"
"Huh?"
Sohee got up because the conversation had turned serious. "I don’t want to make you feel uncomfortable, Heedo-ya. By now, I think you already notice that I’m starting to have feelings for you."
"Well, Hyung already told me that you have a big crush on me."
Oh, yeah— I did.
"Our contract states that if I fall in love with you, the contract is immediately terminated," Sohee reminded Kim Heedo. "On the other hand, your term states that if I become clingy and ask you to act as my real lover, then it can be a ground for terminating the contract."
Kim Heedo fell silent for a moment as if he was having an inner debate with himself.
Honestly, Sohee was already expecting the contract to end.
But, to be fair, the other terms in the contract are fine. I want to have safe sex with Kim Heedo, after all. It can’t be helped that it gets messy now that feelings are involved.
"Hyung, you just want to stop paying whenever I make you feel good, right?"
Huh?
Oh.
Sohee laughed out loud when he remembered one of Kim Heedo’s terms in the contract.
["Park Sohee has to pay 1,000 won to Kim Heedo every time he says phrases such as "it feels good," "you make me feel good," "you’re so good" and the likes in the middle of sex. It’s 2,000 won if Hyung curses because I made you feel good."]
That was the reason why Mr. GG— their golden goose piggy bank— was "born."
"Hyung, I like the terms in our contract that keep you safe from me," Kim Heedo said in a serious tone. "I want you to have the power to sue me if I ever hurt you. That’s why I want to keep the contract, but let’s revise it."
Sohee nodded in agreement. "Is there a particular clause that you want to remove?"
I’m asking because I’m hoping we’re on the same page.
"I want to remove the clause that says the contract is over once Hyung becomes clingy and demands that I act as his lover," Kim Heedo said, his entire face a deeper shade of red now. Heck, even his ears and neck had turned red. "I don’t mind if Hyung clings to me, and Hyung doesn’t have to ask me to act as your lover— I’ll do it because I want to."
Okay, it was Sohee’s turn to blush. "So, you’re saying it’s fine for me to continue liking you?"
"I like the way Hyung treasures me."
"Did I make you feel like you have to like me back?"
"No," Kim Heedo said while shaking his head. "But, like what Hyung said before, what’s stopping us from developing a genuine relationship?"
"Your obsession with Lee Junsu?"
"Hyung, we wouldn’t be having this conversation if I wasn’t over Lee Junsu yet. It would be unfair to you, after all."
"But I told you it’s fine to use me as a rebound."
"A rebound relationship will only apply if I’m still attached to Lee Junsu, but that’s not the case," Kim Heedo said. "But I have to admit that my reason for wanting a genuine relationship with Hyung is just as selfish as using you as a rebound."
"What’s the reason then?"
"Like I said earlier, I like the way you take care of me, Hyung," Kim Heedo said softly. "I want Hyung to continue loving me because it feels good to me. And Hyung makes it easy for me to reciprocate your feelings. So, I thought we could make this relationship work."
"Okay, let’s date then."
"Hyung, are you really okay with my selfish reason?"
"Of course. I can feel that you’re sincere anyway," Sohee said, shrugging. "I’m the one who likes you more, so I have to be patient. But I’m fine as long as I know that we both want each other, and that we both want to make this relationship work. That’s why I accept your selfish reason, Heedo-ya."
"See?" Kim Heedo said, smiling. "This is why I like being with you, Hyung."
