Mummy Evolution-Chapter 95: Rewards
Contemplating about it, Sett figured out two ways by which he could increase his physical strength.
One—blessings.
There were Axioms out there which could be used to permanently bless others. Some could even increase a target's physical strength by a noticeable degree. But that was too rare and Sett didn't know of any way to get his hands on a person like that, not in the near future.
Two—Sett's face darkened a bit. Gods.
He had to find the Gods inside this Tomb and figure out any secrets they might have. They were the source of all Axioms, they must also have more information about all the existential questions that Sett had.

What were Tombs?
What was the purpose of life?
Why were people born if they would die?
Sett closed his eyes.
"I do not want to kill you three," he said. "But I don't want to let you live either. Ana, you can have them."
Making them Tomb Slaves weren't that useful. After all, anybody else ho ate their Tomb Hearts would be just as useful as them.
The Anaconda slithered up to the Pharaoh, making him so afraid he started whining. But soon, he was swallowed and became Ana's food. She had incredible digestion—the Pharaoh's death was swift.
And all nine Tier 3 Tomb Hearts inside the Pharaoh began to get absorbed by the creature. Sett nudged her on the head. Since she was also a mummy, of course Ana could grow stronger by murder.
The snake became much bigger.
Its strength, which had been 35 metric tons, also experienced a massive boost. First, it multiplied by ten.
350 tons!
Then, it kept increasing and increasing due to her having minor breakthroughs.
Tier 3 Low. 350 tons!
A minor breakthrough increased 10% strength.
10% of 350 was 35.
35+350=385.
Tier 3 Medium. 385 tons!
Another minor breakthrough followed soon after.
385 + 10% = 385 + 38.5 = 423.5.
Tier 3 High. 423.5 Tons of strength!
Sett gulped. This was strength! If he had eaten the Tomb Heart himself, it would have been a waste. Not to mention ruining his own potential.
He watched the rise of the snake's strength again, calculating mentally.
10% of 423.5 is 42.35.
So, 423.5 + 10% = 423.5 + 42.35 = 465.85.
Tier 3 Grand. 465.85 tons!
Sett continued calculating.
10% of 465.85 is 46.585.
So.
465.85 + 46.585 = 512.435.
Tier 3 Sacred. 512 Tons.
The monstrous anaconda coiled lazily around Sett, now even stronger than the Great Wyrm. Sett caressed her chin.
She hissed, nudging her face against his own.
Sett then looked at the two remaining people. Egrith and the First Prince, who both had differing expressions.
Smiling, Sett pointed at the First Prince. "Silver, you can have him."
Shining Silver, an invisible figure, nodded. Sett could not see him, but he could feel his existence using the master servant connection.
Zarah closed her eyes, incapable of watching such brutal violence.
To Zainah's eyes, after Sett's command, the First Prince just had his head crushed out of nowhere by nothing.
Silver was human and he wouldn't become as strong as Ana, but his invisibility was a plus that Sett liked. He would be a great assassin.
Finally, Sett moved to stand in front of Egrith.
Egrith did not beg.
Did not cry.
He just accepted his death. Closed his eyes.
Zarah clenched her fists. "Big bro…"
"You want me to spare him?" Sett asked before she could speak.
She paused.
"You want to spare a man who would murder me—rape your sister—if he had the chance?"
Zarah paled.
"I told you, kindness to your enemy is ruthlessness against yourself. Know to differentiate between enemies and allies, do not be stupid."
Egrith nodded. "That is how it is, little girl." He shook his head. "Winners live, losers die. Kindness, empathy, morality, these things make us weak. They were created by humans, not nature itself. And your big bro knows it better than me."
"You were a graceful opponent," Sett said.
"And you were stronger than I ever expected. Indeed, real people are different, I guess. You must look down on me a lot." But then, Egrith gritted his teeth. "But if I were born in your world with abilities like you, I wouldn't be any worse than you."
Sett smirked. "If I found out I was a Tomb Slave, I wouldn't have whined like you, you shit stain. You were too much of a victim, crying about your problems all the time."
Egrith closed his eyes, sighing.
Sett looked at Zarah.
Then Zainah.
She had remained silent all this time.
Sett waved his hand. "Shining Gold, you can have him."
The man in golden armor walked up to Egrith.
Sett said to Zarah: "If there is a problem, think about a solution, do not mourn that you have a problem."
The blade fell, but just as Sett thought Egrith would die, Egrith vanished. Only the man's voice remained: "Thank you for the lesson, I will take that to heart."
"…" Zarah.
"…" Zainah.
"…" Sett.
Sett's eyes widened.
Motherfucker. He prepared an escape route beforehand!?
That must have been the delayed activation of somebody else's Axiom. What kind of Axiom was it, some sort of teleportation stuff?
Sett frowned.
This guy had been acting all along?!
Sett couldn't help but clench his fists.
Who had helped this guy?
Zainah, who was beside him, took his hand.
He looked at her.
"Big brother Sett," Zarah said. "You… are scary sometimes. I am actually happy the guy escaped."
Sett snapped at her. "Happy? Because he could come back and kill, rape, an pillage us?—"
Zainah's hand tightened around his palm. "Sett, don't frighten the girl."
The Tomb Slave army around him began to vanish one by one into Sett's Tomb, but his expression didn't ease.
Sett looked towards Zainah. "And what about you, are you happy too?"
She shook her head. "No, I am just tired of this Tomb. I just want to leave."
Sett stopped. He then comforted her.
