MY 10,000× DIMENSIONAL SYSTEM-Chapter 209: Assemble III
Assemble III
Despite moving at the same time, Kim was unsurprisingly faster than Silver. As she ran ahead, her body became completely saturated with electricity, and she suddenly shot forward with incredible speed.
Several tentacles of corruption shot towards her, but she just sped past them. A moment later, they all got sliced apart by her claws and destroyed by the remnant electricity.
Seeing this, the tentacles multiplied and shot toward her with even more vigor, but she merely increased her speed and destroyed those as well.
An enraged roar came from within the mass of tentacles before they suddenly surged forth like a tide and aimed to drown Kim with their sheer numbers.
Kim debated just using Aether to phase past them, but she decided to use her time abilities more to get better acquainted with them.
The clock in her eye suddenly slowed down.
Consequently, the world around her slowed to a crawl and Kim's perception of time increased massively, and everything seemed to be moving at a snail's pace while she seemed to be unaffected, which was only natural since it was her ability.
She walked forward and stopped right in front of the tide of tentacles of corruption. She stared at them curiously before swiping her claws at them.
When she did so, the space where her claws moved slowly began to contort. She did this a few more times across the tide before finally stopping. Now, it looked like several rips in space were opening up on the tentacles.
However, Vazar had already shown how his corruption affects space, so such a thing shouldn't have been an issue. But space wasn't all she was using either.
That's why she also made use of her Aether attribute. Aether, among many things, is very 'sharp'. Being capable of cutting through conventional matter to more obscure things like concepts and other affinities.
But one of the most notable things about Aether was that it didn't seem to have a specific inclination toward a purpose. In other words, it could be used for a variety of things. Because of this, Aether was extremely compatible with other affinities. This means that other affinities and attributes have no problem fusing with Aether as opposed to doing something like fusing water and fire.
As such, fusing an attribute with Aether often increased the power of that attribute drastically, and in this case, Kim had created rips in space and imbued them with Aether.
As a result, the moment she let time flow normally, the tide of tentacles was shredded apart like meat in a blender.
It happened so abruptly that Vazar, who had bow been revealed, couldn't react. Something that loved to be detrimental to him as the moment Kim destroyed the tide of tentacles, she opened up a path for silver to pass.
Silver's fist was pulled back, and his muscles were tensed. Around his fist, moonlight and starlight condensed, and gravity warped around it.
The moment an opening was revealed, Silver threw a punch that reached Vazar in an instant.
At the last second, he raised his arms to defend, but they got blown through like paper, and he was hit in the chest with terrible force. His armor got destroyed, and his body was thrown back as all sorts of injuries ravaged him at once.

Jenny couldn't feel anything.
It was as though all her senses had vanished. She couldn't feel the pain of her flesh getting shredded and corroded by darkness. She couldn't see the attack that hit her, she couldn't smell the snow or the rotting smell of corrosion, she couldn't hear the sound of her bones shattering, she couldn't taste the blood and various pieces of her internal organs in her mouth.
She had entered a state of sensory deprivation, but it went deeper than that as even her soul sustained damage. The only reason it wasn't too damaged was because, with the addition of three other souls, it had become more robust and resistant.
Still, right now, she couldn't feel anything. All she knew was that she was alive and barely at that.

All she could do was think.
'Ah, what did I expect?' She thought. She imagined that her heart was either going cold with despair or simply from it no longer beating, but she couldn't tell.
'I mean, Mom was a Sovereign on the brink of entering the Paragon rank. She was even stronger than Dad, yet an Arbiter of the Apex rank wiped most of her memories and placed a forceful cap on her strength while severely injuring her soul.' She sighed, or she thought she did.
'What hope did I have? Would the RuneSeal have even worked? Couldn't he have just rendered it useless if he wanted to? Assuming I even managed to hit him.' She sighed again.
'I wonder what I was thinking, really. He's been trying with us since the fight started. He barely used any magic and just fought us with his physical abilities along with a hint of authority. Not once had he unleashed an attack that rivaled the fluctuations we felt those two times he'd attacked before. Yet he was still manhandling us like children.' She tried to grimace and had no idea on whether or not her attempts were successful...
'I mean, what did we think was gonna happen? Not to mention, even when an opening finally appeared, his subordinates came and started to thrash us. More than him even, but that's probably because they were less inclined to hold back. But seriously, those guys are insane. Those dragons, if they were my summoned beasts, I would have easily become the more venerated existence in the clan besides Father. But that's just pointless fantasizing, I'm probably about to die.' Again, she tried to sigh but wasn't sure if she succeeded.
'Maybe, maybe if I hadn't been so hasty, maybe if I had tried to ask if he could heal Mother, then I wouldn't be in the situation. But I just had to initiate a fight. Even Vazar wanted to avoid any conflict, but I pretty much put them on the spot. How foolish.'

Constella let out a muffled scream when the blade passed through her flesh. The wound wasn't too deep, yet it hurt like hell.
She jumped back and put a hand over where the blade had passed through. She felt her blood dripping despite the wound being shallow. But that wasn't all.
She looked up and saw Belladonna wink at her before bringing the short sword that had cut her up to her lips and locking the blood off it.
The instant her tongue touched the blade, Constella felt her heart pulse, and she was overcome with a sudden wave of nausea.
She fell to her knees and puked, but it wasn't food or water. It was blood. Liters of her blood.
That wasn't all as blood leaked from all her orifices at a dangerous degree. But it wasn't just that her body was losing blood rapidly. Her blood was actively destroying her from the inside.
Her veins burst, and her arteries were crushed. Her blood seemed to turn into miniature crystals that shredded whatever part of her body they passed. It was a horrific thing.
Soon, she lost the strength to hold herself up and fell into the snow. She curled up instinctively as she tried to stop her blood from leaving her body, but it was of no use.
No matter what she did, she couldn't stop the lethal flow that had started. No matter how hard she tried, her Mana was suppressed by Belladonna's, causing her to fail to regain control over her body.
The pain was all-encompassing, and the fact she hadn't lost consciousness yet was simply a miracle. A miracle that wouldn't last long.
It was hard for beings of their level to die from things such a bloodloss, yet such a thing was about to happen here.
She briefly wondered why the dragon hadn't just finished her off. She was in no capacity to defend herself, all it needed to do was stomp her real good and that would be the end.
'Or maybe they just want me to suffer a bit before I die?' She thought as her vision started to darken, her body growing cold.
'This is why I wanted to avoid a fight. Conflict with a Primordial Arbiter is just a quick way of getting yourself killed. His subordinates subdued us so quickly, doesn't that mean he was toying with us the entire time? What hope did we ever have to beat him? We were just in over our heads? Provably. No, definitely.' She stopped trembling as she lost the strength to do that.
'Father... I tried... I really did. But, I'm tired... I can't... fight anymore....' Her eyes started to close, and her heart started to slow down.
'I... Can't...' She finally closed her eyes.
...
'Is what I would say if I was a little BITCH!' Her eyes suddenly snapped open.
