"You all passed."

"Ahaha, of course we did!" Naval laughed and said, and the others chuckled too.

"Anyway, let's see what's at the end of this dungeon," Leon added as they nodded and began walking further in. Soon, they reached what looked like a boss chamber.

"I guess this is the real end then. It was the only path forward... but since not many have made it past the trials, it's safe to assume the boss might be the real reason, as the earlier trial felt easier," he said, and they all nodded in agreement.

They stepped into the vast boss chamber, the air thick with unnatural silence. In the center sat a creature, meditating. Its body was humanoid—tall and muscular—but its head was that of a goat, twisted and horned, with glowing crimson eyes closed in deep focus. Ancient runes pulsed faintly across its chest and arms, and a circle of arcane symbols surrounded it on the ground.

"That's no ordinary boss," Roman muttered, instincts on high alert.

Leon narrowed his eyes. "Be ready. Something's… off."

As they cautiously approached, the illusion around them began to shimmer. The world twisted. Reality bent like a mirage. The cave turned into a battlefield. The air became dense with grief and despair. Their hearts grew heavy, illusions clawing at their minds, trying to break them down again.

But then—a scream tore through the distortion.

They turned sharply to see the goat-headed monster, the so-called guardian of the chamber, thrashing in panic. Dark, coiling tendrils had wrapped around its limbs, dragging it down into the arcane circle.

A figure stepped out from the shadows, quiet as the void. A woman, clad in a flowing black dress, her eyes glowing faintly violet. Her presence devoured the illusions, peeling them away like mist under sunlight. The power she radiated was ancient, unfathomable.

The monster struggled, but it was far too late. She raised one pale hand, and with a simple gesture, the tendrils surged, crushing the guardian's body with a wet, echoing snap before dragging it into the shadows below. Silence returned.

Leon exhaled slowly, stepping forward.

"Thanks, Shubh," he said softly.

The lady in black turned her gaze to him, the faintest smile playing on her lips—cold, mysterious, but not unkind. She didn't speak, but her eyes said enough.

I'm watching. I'm always near.

The others stared at her with awe and unease. None of them had seen her enter. None of them sensed her approach. And yet, she was here… and gone, just as suddenly.

"…She's terrifying," Roselia whispered.

"My latets cretion a Embodiemnet of Terro"Leon said a she added.

Leon nodded. "She's a protector of Zharacia now. My world has its shadows, too."

Liliana shivered. "Remind me not to get on your bad side, Leon…"

He chuckled softly, stepping toward the arcane circle that now slowly faded, revealing a staircase descending into the depths.

"Come on," he said, voice calm and firm. "Let's see what lies beyond the boss chamber."

They all nodded and began moving forward, their steps echoing softly through the now-silent chamber. As they walked, Leon crouched briefly and picked up the boss monster's drop—a shimmering core, dark purple with threads of silver lightning running through it.

"Hmph… Looks like this was a Tier V peak monster," Leon muttered, inspecting the core. "No wonder most people died here. It wasn't just the trials—it was the boss. A master illusionist that didn't need to fight with strength, just twisted minds until they broke."

Naval glanced back at the fading arcane circle. "That explains the records. So many thought the dungeon was cursed or endless. They probably never even made it past the illusions… just lost their minds."

Roselia's voice was quiet. "And the ones who did… might have been stuck in a loop. Living out their worst moments until their minds couldn't take it anymore."

Roman clicked his tongue. "Twisted creature. If you didn't break free when you did, Leon, we'd all still be stuck."

Leon gave a short nod. "Yeah. Its illusion was clever—layered, emotional, slow. It didn't want to kill us quickly. It wanted to break us, make us live our pain. But once I snapped out of it, I summoned Shubh."

Liliana's eyes sparkled faintly. "She didn't even give that thing a chance to fight back."

"She doesn't waste time," Leon replied. "When I call her, it's because I need something dead now."

The atmosphere settled into a reverent silence for a moment. Then Millim stretched and grinned, trying to lighten the mood. "Well, we survived. Beat the creepy goat-head mind monster. Got the loot. Let's see if there's anything good down those stairs!"

Leon smirked. "Agreed. If this place had a boss that dangerous guarding it, there must be something big at the end."

With renewed energy and sharper vigilance, the group began descending the staircase that had been hidden beneath the illusion, the walls glowing faintly with runes.

As they descended deeper into the hidden staircase, the air grew thick with ancient energy. The walls, carved from crystalline rock, glowed with flowing runes that pulsed in rhythm with their footsteps. Each step down felt like crossing through time itself—until finally, they arrived in a vast chamber.

A radiant light shone from the center of the room, emanating from an ornate platform surrounded by floating shards of magical crystal. At the heart of it all stood a monument—tall, regal, and shaped like a throne. Behind it, engraved in golden script, was the name:

"Mystic Queen Arvalia—Ascender of Realms, Keeper of Eternal Illusion."

Everyone paused, stunned by the sheer presence of the place.

"A legacy chamber…" Roselia whispered, eyes wide.

Roman walked forward slowly. "Wait, Mystic Queen Arvalia? I've heard of her—she was an Ascender who reached the 400th floor… Then came all the way back down to this one… just to leave something behind."

"Yeah," Leon said, nodding. "Born on the 11th floor… her story said she returned here to honor her roots. But no one has ever managed to claim her legacy. Too dangerous, too elusive. It's been sitting here for centuries."

"And it's still active?" Millim asked, tilting her head.
