My Love Debts Are Everywhere!-Chapter 513: Starting a Training Session - Part 1
Guided by the guard, Leon made his way to a vast courtyard.
It was not part of the palace where he lived but the main palace where the dragon ancestor resided.
There, the dragon ancestor stood with his arms crossed over his chest.
Leon smiled, about to greet him, but the words caught in his throat.
"Miranda?" He froze.
Beside the dragon ancestor, Miranda stood with a playful smile, even winking at him.
After Leon arrived, the guard beside him bowed to the dragon ancestor and respectfully said, "I have brought the Fated One, Your Majesty."
The dragon ancestor gave a casual nod. "Thank you. You may go."
Without a word, the guard turned and swiftly left, leaving the three of them alone.
Leon glanced between the dragon ancestor and Miranda before offering a greeting. "Good morning."
"Good morning, Fated One," the dragon ancestor replied, a smile playing on his lips. "Did you sleep well?"
Leon blinked. "Sleep well?"
Then, catching the meaningful look in the dragon ancestor's eyes, he immediately understood. Clearing his throat, he muttered in embarrassment,
"Ahem! It was... quite well." His face tinged with a faint flush.
"Hahaha!"
Amused by his reaction, the dragon ancestor let out a hearty laugh.
Although he knew how close his granddaughter and Leon were, he had never been able to confirm whether they had taken the final step.
Fortunately, it seemed they had, which brought him a sense of relief.
With that, his seven-thousand-year plan to unite the Fated One with one of his descendants—Athena—had finally succeeded.
Now, he no longer worried about the future of the dragon race, knowing that Leon would protect them from the Evil God and any other threats that might arise.
Meanwhile, Miranda smiled and gave a small nod. "Good morning to you too, Master."
Leon eyed her suspiciously. "Why are you here, Miranda? Isn't today my training session with the dragon ancestor?"
As if expecting the question, Miranda remained unfazed and replied casually, "I'm here to assist with your training, Master."
Leon blinked in surprise. "Assist me?"
Before Miranda could respond, the dragon ancestor spoke up, "Yes, Lady Miranda will be assisting with your training session. We came to this decision after discussing it yesterday."
"I see…" Leon nodded in understanding. "Alright, I have no problem with that."
Seeing that Leon showed no resistance, the two felt relieved and exchanged smiles.
"By the way, Fated One," the dragon ancestor said, turning back to him. "Before we begin the training session, there is something I must tell you."
Leon's expression gradually turned serious. "Please tell me, dragon ancestor."
The dragon ancestor took a deep breath before explaining, "Based on the evaluation of our battle yesterday, I must admit that your physical strength is truly extraordinary. However, it has a critical weakness."
Leon frowned but remained silent, listening intently.
"As you mentioned earlier, your body has been baptized in holy power since childhood, naturally strengthening it. To be honest, it's an excellent and highly advantageous method. Without the need for rigorous training, you've still managed to attain a strong physique."
"However, the fatal flaw I'm referring to lies precisely there. Neither the holy power nor the holy weapons wielded by heroes are powers you truly possess internally. At this point, you understand what I mean, don't you?"
Leon fell silent, lost in thought. The dragon ancestor's words made sense.

For generations, holy power and holy weapons had been regarded as the internal strength of heroes—at least, that was what everyone believed, himself included.
But after losing his holy power to the Devouring Poison and his control over the Holy Sword of Zenith, he realized a truth that had gone unnoticed for thousands of years—holy power and holy weapons were not the heroes' true, internal strength.
Internal power is the strength that always resides within one's body, regardless of the circumstances.
In contrast, external power is temporary and can vanish at any moment.
Clearly, both holy power and holy weapons fell into the category of external forces, just as the dragon ancestors had stated.
Snapping out of his thoughts, Leon's expression slowly eased.
"I understand," he said. "You mean relying on holy power to strengthen my body isn't the right way, right?"
The dragon ancestor shook his head. "Saying 'it isn't the right way' wouldn't be entirely accurate. Utilizing holy power is certainly one approach. However, if your goal is to surpass your physical limits and grow stronger, then it is not the best path."
Leon's eyes gleamed with understanding, as if a realization had dawned on him.
"Then please tell me, dragon ancestor—how can I surpass my physical limits?" He asked eagerly.
He had to admit—he had been incredibly arrogant. Even the most foolish person would understand that self-training and training under the guidance of an experienced mentor were vastly different.
Until now, he had never had a true mentor to guide him.
His only reliance had been the training techniques passed down by past heroes through the Holy Sword of Zenith.
Unfortunately, everyone had their own unique way of training, and simply observing or sensing it was not enough to replicate it.
That was why a mentor's guidance was essential.
Noticing his eagerness, the dragon ancestor couldn't help but chuckle.
"Actually, it's fairly straightforward," he said casually, his eyes narrowing slightly. "We'll start by retraining your body."
"Retraining my body?" Leon raised an eyebrow, puzzled.
"Yes, retraining," the dragon ancestor affirmed with a nod. "Although Lady Miranda sealed both your holy power and chaos power during our previous fight, they weren't completely suppressed. Since your body has been strengthened by holy power, traces of its energy still flow within you, aiding in your defense against me."
"That's why Lady Miranda will now fully seal both powers, restoring your body to that of an ordinary human."
A playful smile curved his lips as he teased, "So, are you ready to train under these conditions?"
Leon's heart pounded, and his eyes widened. He hadn't realized that, even during their fight, his holy power had still been active, reinforcing his body.
That meant… he hadn't truly relied on his own physical strength!
He turned to Miranda, who met his gaze with a confirming nod.
Taking a deep breath, Leon fell silent for a moment before clenching his teeth. "Then… I'm ready!"
If he wanted to grow stronger and defeat the Evil God in the future, he had to give it everything he had.
The dragon ancestor nodded in satisfaction. "Good! Then let's begin your training!"
