My Love Debts Are Everywhere!-Chapter 625: The Narrow World
Leon and Astra walked toward the lake. From their previous spot, it was about four hundred meters away—not too far.
"Huff..." Leon exhaled deeply as he gazed at the lake once more.
Only now did he realize this lake was much larger than the places where he had previously purified dark power—the crater, the hill, and the garden.
Moreover, the dark power here was several times stronger than what he had faced on the hill.
He wasn't sure he could purify it quickly.
But he had to try. After all, only by clearing the lake could he truly save Astra.
Turning to Astra beside him, he smiled and said, "I'm going to start the purification process. But before that, I need you to do me a favor: if anything goes wrong, wake me up immediately, okay?"
Astra understood and gave a slight nod. "Don't worry. Leave it to me. I'll protect you, and if things get bad, I'll keep you safe."
"Good!" Leon felt reassured by her words.
Without another word, he stepped to the lake's edge and sat down.
He took a deep breath, closed his eyes, and clasped his hands together.
"This time, I ask for your help again, Miranda," he whispered softly.
"Don't worry, Master. Leave it to me," Miranda replied enthusiastically.
*Boom!*
Holy power burst from his body, shooting into the sky. Two seconds later, chaos power erupted alongside it.
The two forces swirled overhead before spreading out across the entire lake, covering its surface.
*Buzz!*
The purification process began immediately. But soon after, the Black Lake stirred with disturbances and resistance.
Countless water dragons and other monstrous creatures—whales and enormous beasts—rose from the depths.
Born from dark power, their eyes burned with savage fury.
Without hesitation, they launched a fierce and wild assault against the holy and chaos powers.
"Ugh…" Cold sweat began to bead on Leon's forehead.
The dark power's resistance here was far stronger than anything he had faced in the crater.
And the vast volume of that power made purification incredibly difficult.
Leon's head began to spin, but he bit his tongue hard, forcing his fading consciousness back.
Nearby, Astra watched his struggle, biting her lower lip in guilt.
"Leon will be okay…" she whispered, trying to steady herself.
It wasn't that she didn't want to help—she simply didn't have the power.
After all, only Leon, the Fated One, could purify this dark power.
Otherwise, she couldn't have been suppressed by that power for the past seven thousand years.
Despite the resistance and difficulties, the purification process continued steadily.
The Black Lake slowly began to recede—a clear sign that Leon was succeeding.
But suddenly, when the dark water had shrunk to half, something unexpected happened.
*Whoosh!*
A black aura burst from the lake, shooting toward Leon at incredible speed.
"This isn't good!" Astra gasped, ready to act—when Miranda suddenly appeared in the air and smashed the black aura with a powerful strike.
*Bang!*
Her blow shattered the dark aura completely, leaving no trace behind.
Astra sighed in relief but was quickly startled again as she recognized who had appeared.
"Miranda!" Her eyes lit up.
They shared a close bond—Astra was Amon's wife, and Miranda was Amon's weapon spirit.
Both were spirits, connected by a strong emotional tie.
Miranda turned toward Astra, giving a brief nod before looking at Leon with concern.
Astra, puzzled by Miranda's expression, stepped closer and asked hesitantly, "Did something happen to Leon?"
Miranda nodded slightly, narrowing her eyes. "His consciousness isn't in his body. It seems a dark power pulled him somewhere else."
Astra froze, suspicion rising in her mind. "Is this the work of the Evil God's consciousness?"

"Where am I?"
Leon opened his eyes and found himself in a strange place.
It was a vast, boundless space, filled with pale purple hues and shrouded in a faint, translucent white mist.
His senses sharpened instantly as he felt something unsettling within himself.
"Is this the work of the Evil God's consciousness?" He muttered, trying to make sense of the situation.
The possibility was high. He remembered Astra once telling him that the Evil God's consciousness had been sealed within the lake, hidden deep below.
Given his past experience while healing the dragon ancestor—when he had briefly encountered that very consciousness—Leon knew better than to act carelessly.
Even if it was only a fragment, the Evil God's consciousness still carried traces of its power.
Letting his guard down or underestimating it could lead to serious trouble... or even a foolish death.
"I need to get out of here," he whispered.
From what he recalled, being trapped in a space like this meant there was only one way out: find the core—the source of the Evil God's consciousness.
If he could destroy it, escape would follow.
Without delay, Leon began moving, scanning the misty expanse for the place where the Evil God's consciousness was sealed. frёewebnoѵel.ƈo๓

"Where am I?"
The black-cloaked man felt disoriented, a sharp pain pulsing on the right side of his head.
Once the pain subsided slightly, he opened his eyes and found himself in an unfamiliar place.
Everything around him was bathed in shades of purple, veiled by a swirling, smoke-like mist that constantly shifted and clouded his vision.
"The Evil God's voice didn't lie to me… did it?" He muttered, his brows furrowing as anger flashed in his eyes.
"Of course not. I've never lied to you," the voice replied from his right, causing him to breathe a sigh of relief.
"Good." He patted his chest and asked, "Where are you sealed? Which direction should I take?"
"Go straight ahead," the voice instructed. "About five hundred meters from your current position, turn left. I'll guide you further from there."
The black-cloaked man gave a slight nod and began walking in the direction he was told.
This place was too strange—he had no sense of time or distance. All he could do was estimate how far he'd gone.
After walking what he believed to be around five hundred meters, he turned left—and just as the voice had promised, a line of glowing fireflies appeared, floating ahead like a trail.
He followed the fireflies without hesitation but suddenly stopped in his tracks. Something ahead—perhaps two hundred meters away—caught his eye.
A tall man stood there, strikingly handsome and impossible to overlook. The black-cloaked man's eyes widened before a sinister grin slowly curved across his lips.
"Well, well… What a small world."
