Mystic Calling:Stone of Glory-Chapter 101: Relax, everyone
Chapter 101: Relax, everyone
At the very top of Emerald Castle, inside a vast meeting hall—
Cicero, in his massive dragon form of about eighteen feet, lay curled lazily on the floor, yawning and looking half-asleep. Clearly, he hadn’t fully woken up yet and seemed completely drained of energy.
Not far from him, Seraphina and Elyra were also in their true forms—a majestic dragon and a graceful unicorn—chatting away cheerfully, exchanging comments back and forth.
Compared to the lazy slacker Cicero, these two were obviously much more energetic and lively.
It was also pretty clear that, compared to their human forms, Seraphina, Cicero, and Elyra all preferred their original species’ forms. Whenever Ethan wasn’t around, they’d naturally revert to their true shapes, only shifting back depending on the situation once Ethan appeared.
But aside from these three, there were two other massive figures in the meeting hall, completely out of place and visibly uncomfortable—trembling nervously and fidgeting anxiously.
They were none other than the Tier 10 Ancient Treant heroes—Eldorin and Bromir!
Their current state could only be described as restless and shaking in their boots. It wasn’t an exaggeration at all!
"E-E-Eldorin...am I seeing things?" Bromir stammered, his entire body trembling as he stole nervous glances at Seraphina and Cicero. "Are those really Tier 13 Legendary Units? Crimson Ultimate heroes from the Green Dragon clan?!"
Bromir was shaking uncontrollably, eyes wide with disbelief, feeling as if his very soul was trembling. It was like he was trapped in some surreal dream.
Tier 13 Legendary Units! Crimson Ultimate!
Did he even understand what that meant?!
Even among the strongest factions like Inferno, Dungeon, Castle, or Necropolis, beings of this caliber were absolute top-tier powerhouses—legendary figures who could single-handedly shift the balance of power!
But now?
Now, this unknown, obscure Emerald Castle actually had two of these legendary beings at once?!
Bromir was genuinely stunned speechless, his mind completely blown.
Beside him, Eldorin was also restless and trembling, though he managed to maintain slightly more composure than Bromir.
Still, even Eldorin was utterly shaken to his core, feeling as if his entire worldview had just been shattered and rebuilt from scratch.
He couldn’t help it.
These were Legendary Units—Crimson Ultimates!
Once fully grown and at their peak, even one of these legendary heroes would be enough to single-handedly support a powerful kingdom in the main world of "Glory Lords X."
And here, right in front of them, were two of them!
At the very top of Emerald Castle, inside a spacious meeting hall—
"No wonder the lord was so confident earlier. Turns out we were just narrow-minded and ignorant..." Eldorin muttered quietly, his heart suddenly filled with awe, fear, admiration, and excitement toward Ethan.
Honestly speaking, as an Orange Legendary hero, Eldorin had his own pride.
Sure, he’d pledged allegiance to Ethan and Emerald Castle, but he’d always thought it was just a matter of necessity. He figured that, given enough time, he and Bromir would naturally rise to become Ethan’s trusted right-hand men.
In other words, before this moment, he’d still had some ambition and competitiveness in his heart.
But now, after seeing Seraphina and Cicero—
Even Elyra—
All that pride, all that ambition, vanished instantly. Completely replaced by genuine respect and submission!
Sure, an 11th-tier unicorn hero might not match up to a 13th-tier Green Dragon hero, but Elyra could still easily crush the two of them without breaking a sweat!
Since ancient times, nothing convinced people more thoroughly than raw power. And now, Ethan had truly conquered them with sheer strength, crushing any lingering doubts or ambitions they might have had.
Boom!
At that moment, the meeting room doors swung open.
Ethan walked in calmly, Elynn following closely behind. Immediately upon seeing him, Seraphina, Cicero, and Elyra quickly shifted back into their human forms and respectfully greeted him.
"Master!"
"My honored master..."
"You’re here, master."
Seeing this scene, Eldorin and Bromir shivered even harder, their faces turning pale, mouths hanging open in shock.
Legendary unicorn and Green Dragon heroes, bowing so humbly to the lord?
This...this was unbelievable!
Eldorin and Bromir immediately scrambled to their feet, trembling as they bowed deeply to Ethan. "M-my Lord!"
"Relax, everyone. Sit down," Ethan said with a casual smile, walking straight toward the head seat at the center of the room.
Elynn naturally took the first seat to his right.
As one of Ethan’s most trusted aides, Elynn might not have the highest hero tier, but her position was special. Over time, she’d earned Ethan’s trust and the respect of Seraphina, Cicero, and Elyra through her actions.
No one questioned her place at Ethan’s side.
"Alright, let’s get straight to business," Ethan said after settling into his seat. "Elynn, give us an update on Emerald Castle’s current situation. Any pressing issues?"
"Yes, master," Elynn stood up gracefully and began speaking. "Right now, our biggest issue is still finances. We’re severely lacking in gold and the six major resources—especially crystals. Those are critically low."
She paused briefly, looking toward Ethan. "However, Eldorin and I recently took a closer look at the resource distribution in Gleaming Forest. Just as we suspected earlier, there are actually a surprising number of crystal resource points hidden there!"
"Really?" Ethan’s eyes lit up, excitement clear in his voice.
This was fantastic news!
Compared to gold, the six major resources were far more critical and harder to obtain.
Gold was relatively easier to come by. And if push came to shove, Ethan could always leverage the Draconic Pact to "borrow" some gold from the top guilds or military factions—they wouldn’t dare refuse him.
But borrowing the six major resources was a completely different story.
Why?
Simple.
Not because they’d dare refuse him, but because even the top guilds and military factions barely had any of these resources themselves!
First, players simply weren’t qualified to occupy resource points for the six major resources. Those were tightly controlled by native powers—like the various duchies and kingdoms within the "Glory Lords X" world.
Second, the consumption rate of these resources was insanely high!
They were always in short supply, constantly running out.
After all, whether in "Glory Lords X" or back on Earth, strength was everything. And recruiting higher-tier units required massive amounts of these precious resources.
Ethan sighed inwardly. It seemed the priority now was figuring out how to secure those crystal resource points...
