Naruto: Unlocking Kaido Template-Chapter 194
Chapter 194 - 194
The centipede moved quickly—perhaps the influence of the Dragon Vein chakra had driven him a little insane. All the buildings along the way were absorbed into his body. He now resembled a walking fortress, twisted and grotesque, like some stitched-together monster.
Sara stood behind Uzumaki Zixu, at the very formation he'd seen when he arrived. She was quietly chanting, hands moving nonstop, as if sensing something deep and powerful.
"The light rising from the heights of Roran—boiling."
"Mixed emotions."
"The Dragon Vein must be protected."
"Look up at the sky as the white blade enters."
"The sandstorms and winds are coming."
When the centipede noticed Sara preparing to seal the Dragon Vein, he lost it completely, rolling down the spiral staircase like an out-of-control snowball.
The high tower above them grew more unstable by the second, ready to collapse. Zixu's whole body burst with powerful energy. The Eight Gates (Hachimon) of Taijutsu activated—flames curled around his arms like dragons, lighting up the darkness below the tower in an instant.

"The flowers flutter and scatter."
"The light of inheritance on the spiral."
"Cut off the dragon's hand and head towards the inner court."
Zixu charged at the centipede—now looking like a tank—like a lone general charging into battle. The centipede reacted, transforming into the same dragon Zixu had once become, roaring wildly and lunging to bite him.
The flames exploded. The centipede couldn't even track Zixu's movements, helpless as its body was sliced into fragments.
"It's useless to resist!" the centipede screamed, pulling the scattered parts back together using chakra to rebuild itself into a puppet.
"Sara, why are you doing something so pointless?" the centipede growled. "Wouldn't it be better to be a puppet again? Wouldn't it be better to die and be happily reunited with your mother?" There was a twisted, almost human laugh on his inhuman face—like a terminally ill madman.
Sara's body trembled, but she quickly steadied herself. She believed in Zixu behind her. The way Zixu had turned into a dragon earlier had filled her with hope. She believed he was the true guardian dragon of Roran, so she entrusted her back to him without hesitation.
She kept chanting softly, something small held in her hands. The centipede could feel the chakra from the Dragon Vein weakening.
"It's an image that emerges from the past."
"Eternal songs connect hearts."
"The sky is filled with storms and is hesitant."
"Hold a burning lamp."
"Cut open the darkness before you."
Zixu reappeared in front of the centipede, smiling. Bathed in fire, he formed a massive wave of flame in his palm.
"They say even dogs won't eat the Mera Mera no Mi (Flame-Flame Fruit)," he said. "Let's see if I can create something even stronger."
"Great Flame Ring – Flame Emperor!"
Several massive spiral flames circled around him, condensing into a fireball as bright as the sun. Wind howled, small tornadoes spinning around the flaming core. Zixu grinned and hurled it.
The centipede's body began melting before it could even touch the fireball, burned by its sheer intensity. The fireball carried it upward, blasting through the tower before exploding in the night sky like a firework.
Minato and the civilians he'd saved all watched the sky in awe as the explosion lit up the darkness. Each of them had different thoughts running through their minds.
"The light rising from the heights of Roran."
"Flowing time and memory."
"For the road to survival that must be taken."
"So live here and look up at the sky."
Sara stopped chanting and raised her head, staring at the glowing sky—and at Zixu, shining in mid-air.
The Dragon Vein sealed itself, and the ground beneath her collapsed. Below was a vast chasm of glowing purple chakra. Falling into it meant complete assimilation by the Dragon Vein.
But she wasn't afraid. Her mission was complete. After sealing the Dragon Vein, that man would defeat Mukade for sure.
"A queen who abandons her people can't call herself a true queen," Zixu's voice came from behind her. Sara turned, eyes filled with tears, unable to respond. She simply leaned into Zixu's chest and sobbed.
Her tears carried too many feelings. But Zixu couldn't worry about that just yet—because the centipede wasn't dead.
Setting Sara down gently, Zixu transformed into a dragon again and soared skyward. Circling in the air, he scanned the ruins below until he found the centipede's battered body.
The centipede had gone berserk. He fused nearby towers into himself, creating a massive war fortress. But Zixu wasn't impressed.
"Without infinite regeneration, what are you?" Zixu said coldly, his aura locking onto the centipede to stop any tricks.
In that moment, Zixu launched his final charge of the night—wind and thunder surged, flames burned, golden chains wrapped around him, and nature energy poured into every scale of his body. His presence was overwhelming.
Like slicing paper, he tore through the centipede's defenses. His claws reached deep into the construct and grabbed the true body hiding inside.
But he didn't kill him—yet. Minato had told him that killing the centipede, who had fused with the seal, would cause him to return to the future. And Zixu still had things left to do.
"Too bad this guy's burned out," he muttered.
"Even if I don't finish him off now, he won't last much longer."
He picked up Sara again. Roran was falling apart—its towers collapsing, dust and smoke filling the sky. The once-great city would vanish today.
After reuniting with Sara and Minato, Zixu stated his final request.
"I'm down to kill the centipede, but I want to see how the Hiraishin no Jutsu (Flying Thunder God Technique) works. I'm not about to travel all the way to Konoha."
Zixu spoke calmly—there was no reason to create more enemies.
Surprisingly, Minato agreed without hesitation. "It's just Hiraishin. I'll show it to you."
He explained that only a few could master the technique. It required incredible talent and was nearly impossible to learn otherwise.
Minato didn't know what kind of relationship Zixu would have with Konoha in the future, but one thing was clear: he hoped they wouldn't be enemies. Zixu's threat level was far beyond even the Nine-Tails.
