Is Danzo dead? Of course not. That old bastard is sly as hell, but damn—it was physically satisfying to watch him get zapped. No regular human should've survived that lightning.

Yet, Danzo's staggering body turned into a shadow and vanished. When he reappeared, he was already ten meters away from Sasuke. One of the Sharingan embedded in his arm slowly shut.

"The power of lightning... Ha! Too bad I can't use it. You Uchiha brat." Danzo had just learned the hard way not to pierce through Raiton no Yoroi (Lightning Release Armor) with a kunai. Zixu was visibly stunned by the ridiculousness of it all.

"Although I'm not sure what exactly happened, he was definitely dead for a moment there... When did that Sharingan close? Could it be tied to this weird technique?" Zixu squatted, narrowed his eyes, and kept observing the stalemate.

Uchiha Madara sighed, explaining calmly to Sasuke.

"Izanagi (Shadow Creation Technique), a genjutsu that warps reality. This guy's using the Sharingan like it's disposable..."

"Genjutsu that changes reality?"

"All you need to know is—it costs one Sharingan per use. It allows the user to reject any reality they don't like and choose one favorable to them," Madara said, staring at Danzo with scarlet eyes. Frankly, he couldn't understand how this idiot was managing to use it; even a dog could've executed it better.

As they spoke, Danzo was killed several times by Sasuke. He kept inching forward, clearly trying to get close enough to activate some technique—willing to burn through several Izanagi lives just to land one hit.

Sasuke's eyes stopped bleeding. After adjusting his chakra flow, he tore off the black cloth covering his eyes. What emerged were eyes that glowed with a kaleidoscopic crimson, deeper than the standard three-tomoe Sharingan.

These weren't ordinary Mangekyō Sharingan—they had evolved into the Eien no Mangekyō Sharingan (Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan). Similar to Itachi's eyes during Tsukuyomi, but sharper and more defined.

Danzo grinned. He had been waiting for this.

His bandaged right eye revealed a black, shuriken-shaped Sharingan—the infamous Kotoamatsukami (Distinguished Heavenly God). That eye alone felt like it could reach into your soul and rewrite it from the inside. Sasuke felt it immediately. His consciousness wavered, as if reality itself were shifting.

"You're strong, but now you're mine. The power of Kotoamatsukami is irresistible. Welcome to the Root, Uchiha brat!" Danzo began laughing wildly, madness flashing in his one normal eye.

He had exhausted nearly all of his implanted Sharingan—but if he could brainwash Sasuke, it would be worth it.

"So that's Kotoamatsukami? Huh. Doesn't look that terrifying..." Zixu muttered, unimpressed.

"Shit..." Madara muttered under his breath, clearly unprepared for this turn of events.

Just then, black feathers swirled into view. A crow as dark as ink appeared in front of Sasuke. But what shocked everyone—one of its eyes held the same unique shuriken Sharingan as Danzo's. Kotoamatsukami!

"Itachi...?" Danzo's expression twisted into shock and greed. Another Kotoamatsukami? If he could get both...

But as the crow dispelled the illusion affecting Sasuke, a hidden spell triggered. Danzo's stolen eye shattered. The power of Kotoamatsukami vanished completely.

"Itachi's backup plan..." Madara raised his head, a mix of admiration and resignation on his face. Even in death, Itachi still played the long game, screwing over Danzo from the grave.

Danzo looked like someone who tried lifting a heavy dumbbell, only for it to explode in his face. Pure disgust and frustration. He looked like he'd just eaten shit.

Sasuke didn't give a damn what Danzo thought. His Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan had fully adapted. There was no longer any strain on his eyes, and now his power surged.

There isn't a massive difference in visual style between Mangekyō and Eternal Mangekyō, but the biggest gain is that the user can keep it active without damage or fatigue. Sasuke bypassed the entire adaptation phase, moving straight into full Eternal power.

Each Mangekyō Sharingan awakens new powers. Itachi had Tsukuyomi (Moon Reader) and Amaterasu (Heavenly Flames), but Sasuke's were still unknown.

Now, lightning crackled around Sasuke like threads, forming an armor that clung tightly to his body. Black flames of Amaterasu weaved into the roaring thunder, dyeing the usually blue lightning armor in a dark, hellish hue.

Without hesitation, he attacked Danzo once again.

Danzo, now fully spent, abandoned all defense. He tore open his shirt, revealing a cursed Fūinjutsu (Sealing Technique) carved into his chest—shaped like a blackened Bagua.

Zixu, spectating the fight, recognized the seal. It was a powerful, deadly binding jutsu. Danzo might be planning to go out in a blaze and take Sasuke with him.

Dark liquid oozed from Danzo's mutated side. All the Sharingan in his arm were now closed, and the unstable nature of the First Hokage's cells began surfacing. White skin expanded, and the grotesque face embedded in his shoulder seemed to wake up. His arm twisted into a growing tree-like mass.

Without hesitation, Danzo sliced off his own arm and lunged at Sasuke.

"I've committed sins, yes—but they were necessary. If I don't bear the darkness, how can Konoha thrive in the light?" Danzo still believed he was the hero in his own story.

But Sasuke had already vanished in a flash of lightning. Uchiha Madara disappeared as well. Zixu had bolted long before that—he had no interest in listening to an old man's dying monologue. Let him preach to the Shinigami.

The black liquid exploded outward, consuming the underground Root facility. A powerful suction formed in Danzo's chest. Everything nearby collapsed inward, vanishing in the mass of liquid shadow.

Then silence.

A vacuum sphere remained. Danzo Shimura was gone.

And with him—the entire Root organization vanished into the void.

Danzo Shimura is completely dead.
