Omega Summoner-Chapter 2390: I am a Dog II

(Adrian POV)

"It seems that our time is short, cute doggy. I wish it was longer as you are the only one that does not try to kill me when I get closer. I hope we see each other again." Lady Tang stated as she put me down and then followed the attendant that came for her.

"We should wash you down in case some of the residue poison of Lady Tang clung to your fur. If you died, then we will be punished by the Murim Alliance Leader." One of the guards stated as he led me to faucet to wash me down.

The feeling of being washed by another is not good as the water is making me sleepy. The feeling of wet fur is also not in my bucket list of things that I need to have experienced. Still, I learned important things about the Murim Alliance as the guards basically gossiped while washing me.

"To think that they called the Poison Flower! It seems that something serious must be going on." One of the guards stated.

"Why are you so afraid of Lady Tang? She is beautiful and does not look down on others. She might be a bit stoic, but her attendants always praise her." Another guard added.

"You say that, but she is a powerful combatant that is almost as powerful as the Tang Clan Head. Her mastery over poison is so good that they say you will not even know you ingested it. Rumors said that she made her ex-fiancée unable to have kids because of poison!" Another guard chimed in.

"That dude was not a good match for her though. He basically has more bastards than legal children as he kept going to brothels and even going for his maids. I am actually glad that he is now shooting blanks." The first guard replied.

"Still, if the Poison Flower was called then something major must be happening. I saw the Plum Flower earlier as well which means something will happen. I even saw Vice Leader Jaegal as well with a face full of worries earlier. He only looks like that when he is sure it will affect Kunlun." The soldier that washed Adrian stated.

It seems that the Murim Alliance is also preparing for something to happen as well. The fact that they called in their lethal experts is a bit worrying. This might be due to the fact that we have an unbound teleportation scroll in our midst. There are even numerous guards stationed in all corners of the room we were given. Also, there are also hidden guards that are watching over Levin Cloud and Peridot which made them unable to move freely.

"There we go! You are all dried up." The guard stated as I looked at my reflection in a nearby mirror.

"I look fluffy."

I saw myself like a giant black cotton fluff ball. I wanted to return my fur back but the guards that were looking at me with gleaming eyes started to hug me one by one. The maids then found me and told off the guards that they were being rough. Still, do not berate them and squish me at the same time. Your scolding is not becoming believable because of your actions.

"The Firefeather nobles are now leaving for their appointment with the merchant guild and asked me to get their dog back. I will now be taking him." The maid stated as he took me away from the teary eyed guards that wanted to fluff me.

I do not know why but the treatment of dogs is different from cats when they are essentially an animal. When I was a cat, all of the people were wary of touching me and practically observed me from a distance. Now that I am a dog, all of the people would try and pet me when they have the chance. Are cats more fearsome than dogs?

Anyways, I returned back to the room as the maid delivered me immediately. Peridot took me as soon as I was handed over because the carriage from the merchant guild has already arrived. We left the Murim Alliance, but we did not leave their monitoring. I can sense all of the hidden guards that came with us.

There are not just the eyes from the Murim Alliance but other people as well. Some have hostility while others just wanted to observe. The one thing that I am grateful is the fact that my senses basically increased exponentially in Sirius' form.

"It was a good thing that you were loitering about earlier or else we would have been unprepared to go to the enemy base." Levin Cloud stated via the group chat.

"I was not loitering around. I was gathering information as both of you were unable to move freely." I replied.

"Okay… We will believe what your head cannon is, but the maids and the guards think otherwise. They said that they liked playing with you despite your detached personality. Also, you seem to have been given the moniker of Treasure Dog because you gave them 10 Year Energy Pills." Peridot stated.

"I was in reconnaissance! I will tell you everything that I managed to find out while you two were all over each other in the room." I replied which made the two of them turn red in embarrassment.

"We were not doing anything!" Peridot almost shouted but Levin Cloud was able to closer her mouth in reflex.

"Anyways, I will relay what I learned now." I told them while I yawned since bathing makes me sleepy.

"This is bad." Peridot suddenly replied.

"Why is it bad?" Levin Cloud asked.

"It seems that the Unbound Teleportation Scroll managed to get the attention of all organizations in the eastern continent." Peridot replied.

"I mean that is part of the plan. If the entire Kunlun is emitting too much 'greed' then the Primordial Beast of Greed might be unable to control itself." I replied.

"No. I mean, this could turn into a bloodbath that we cannot control." Peridot added with a worried expression.
