"Devil! That damn demon teamed up with the devils!" The Primordial Beast of Greed wanted to shout out but the strength on its body slowly started to fade.

The body that it currently can no longer function properly as it is being assaulted with energy that can make it feel pain. The number of treasures it has inside its Greed Vault has diminished to the point that it can no longer create an appropriate defense. The control of the secret organization would surely vanish once it was already off world.

"It is because of that damn demon! It used my own greed against me!" The Primordial Beast of Greed thought as it saw the sword of the Sword Saint Namgung Myeong burning bright like the sun.

"Wait! That demon has my own Greed inside of him! Why did I not think of this sooner! A young demon like that will definitely be unable to defend against me!" The Primordial Beast of Greed suddenly thought as a last resort because the current body it has must be discarded.

The body of the Primordial Beast of Greed got sliced into thousands of pieces before burning up. The Sword Saint Namgung Myeong thought that everything has ended but he suddenly felt that something was amiss.

The soulbounds knew what happened to their master and tried to intervene but they were repelled when they wanted to enter the subconscious of their master.

Adrian did not expect that he would suddenly get possessed by the Primordial Beast of Greed. He did not think that this is possible as the primordial beasts are very proud of their body. The fact that the Primordial Beast of Greed had to discard its body like nothing and then possess the body of another means it is incredibly desperate.

What it did not know is the fact that the part of its soul has already been a blank slate that has no ego whatsoever. The thing that the Primordial Beast of Greed felt inside of Adrian are just mere lingering feelings that the erased ego possessed.

"What! What have you done to my soul fragment?!" The Primordial Beast of Greed exclaimed as it suddenly felt that the world is closing in on it.

"Me? I merely erased the ego that was in it and used the parts that are usable. Who told you to go inside my subconscious though? Did you not look around when you came in here?" Adrian stated and the Primordial Beast of Greed suddenly noticed the area they are in, and it made the latter shudder.

The Primordial Beast of Greed finally saw the area around it and all of it represented the soul of the demon before him. The Primordial Beast of Greed thought that Adrian's soul was the small figure it met but that was just a small projection meant to represent the real soul. The real soul that was grasping at them with its two open palms that they are currently standing on.
