A/N: Alright, I am sorry for not posting for a while. Unfortunately, I lost all of my data for this novel, and because it’s been a long time since I wrote for this novel, I’ve pretty much forgotten half of the characters and events. I can’t retrieve the old data I saved for such an emergency, so please let me know if I made any mistakes while writing this novel, and I’ll correct them. Thank you for your patience, everyone, and have fun.

"Well, well, what do we have here?"
All eyes turned toward the voice, only to see another group emerging from one of the tunnels.
Han Li’s eyes immediately lit up the moment she saw the people approaching—especially when her gaze locked onto a particular young man.
"Darling~!"
With a delighted smile blooming across her face, she dashed toward him and threw her arms around his neck. The man, striking with his dark hair and handsome features, responded in kind, wrapping her in a tight embrace. A faint but content smile appeared on his lips.
"No way!"
The members of the Ming family were stunned. None more so than Ming Ming and Liang Wei, whose jaws dropped in disbelief.
"Am I dreaming?" Ming Ming muttered, pinching herself with visible confusion.
Liang Wei stared wide-eyed at the man in Han Li’s arms. There was no mistaking it. It was really him.
Chen Tian, meanwhile, frowned—not because he recognized the man, but because of who stood behind him.
His gaze sharpened as it landed on a familiar yet dangerous presence.
’It’s that demon… from the Zhu Family,’ Chen Tian thought, his Chaos Insight flaring subtly.
’Chen Tian, something’s wrong. If a demon is mingling with humans like this…’ Wu Ye’s voice rang inside his mind, solemn and cautious.
Chen Tian nodded inwardly. Demons were a proud and arrogant race, notorious for looking down on all others, especially humans. For one to be walking among humans so casually was unsettling—if not outright alarming.
He couldn’t understand it. How was a demon even here on Earth?
His earlier decision to keep a low profile suddenly felt like the wisest choice he’d ever made.
Just flying on his sword had already drawn attention from a different race—and even attracted the killing intent of a Nascent Soul expert.
Now, with beings like Baihu and who-knew-what-else possibly lurking around, this appearance of a demon only confirmed what he feared:
Earth was no longer safe.
And as a mere Foundation Realm cultivator, Chen Tian was like a bug before a Nascent Soul powerhouse.
Even with the Chaos God Body and his many unique abilities, the realm gap was not something he could brute-force his way through. Worse yet, the body he relied on so much was incomplete—its full potential still locked away from him. freewёbnoνel.com
’I need to stay under the radar until I reach at least the Dao Fusion Realm. At this point, nuclear bombs aren’t the scariest things anymore,’ Chen Tian thought grimly.
His gaze returned to the demon.
Moyin appeared completely human—his aura flawless. If it weren’t for Chen Tian’s Chaos Insight, he would’ve been completely fooled.
"Darling, those people from the Ming family tried to bully me!" Han Li suddenly said, her tone dramatically shifting from cheerful to pitiful.
The cold, imposing woman from earlier had vanished. In her place stood a delicate, soft-spoken girl, her eyes glimmering with tears. Even Chen Tian and the others were taken aback by the abrupt transformation.
"Ming Family..." Zhu Lingfeng’s gaze swept over them with mild amusement.
"A declining family like yours still dares to act so arrogantly? How pathetic."
Though his voice remained calm, the contempt behind it was clear, causing the expressions of those in Chen Tian’s group to darken.
"Zhu Lingfeng, who do you think you are to talk to us like that?" Ming Ming snapped, her voice seething with fury.
"Since when did your Zhu Family and the Han Family become so close?"
Zhu Lingfeng casually brushed a few strands of his black hair aside. "Oh, didn’t you hear? The Han and Zhu families have recently formed an alliance. Through marriage, of course."
He gestured toward Han Li, who now leaned comfortably into his side.
"Han Li is my fiancée."
A wave of gasps rippled through the onlookers.
"No way... The Han Family?"
"They allied with the Zhu family? That wicked bunch?"
"Has the world gone mad?"
Han Li smiled sweetly, her expression innocent and affectionate—but her eyes were cold and mocking when they flicked toward Ming Ming.
"You bullied me before, Ming Ming, didn’t you?" She said softly, her voice floating through the silence like a knife. "Now look where you are."
"You...!" Ming Ming’s face turned red, trembling with rage and shame. Behind her, the rest of the Ming Family clenched their fists tightly, yet not one dared to move.
The Zhu Family was powerful—far beyond what they could handle. And now that Han Li had joined them, the balance of noble powers within the city had drastically shifted.
Chen Tian remained silent, watching with sharp eyes. His Chaos Insight scanned the demon again, this time with even greater focus.
The more he looked, the more uneasy he became.
’He’s hiding his strength. He’s much stronger than he appears…’
The tension in the air grew heavier—like a string pulled too tight, ready to snap.
Zhu Lingfeng smirked. "I suppose the Ming family still has some pride left. How quaint."
Just as Ming Ming opened her mouth to retort—
BOOM!
A deep rumble echoed through the cavern as the ground trembled. Dust billowed from the northern tunnel, and from the swirling haze, a group strode forth with steady, purposeful steps.
Their blue-and-silver robes shimmered with embroidered cloud and sword motifs.
"The Liu Family?" someone whispered.
At the forefront stood Liu Ruyue and Liu Zhenhai, the latter radiating a bone-chilling pressure. His expression was cold, unreadable—but his mere presence silenced the entire space.
Behind them stood several Liu youths, each exuding a calm yet unshakable confidence. Their strictness was unmistakable.
Zhu Lingfeng narrowed his eyes, his smirk fading just slightly as his gaze swept across the newcomers.
’Tch... The Liu Family, huh.’
In his heart, Liu Zhenhai’s hatred simmered—but he kept it buried deep beneath a layer of practiced stoicism.
Unlike the declining Ming Family, the Liu Family was still one of the top pillars in the region. Known for their powerful sword arts, unwavering discipline, and neutral stance in most affairs, their sudden arrival shifted the atmosphere once again.
Liu Zhenhai took in the scene at a glance—Han Li clinging to Zhu Lingfeng, the Ming Family fuming, and Chen Tian’s group quietly observing.
"I didn’t expect to walk into a family drama," he said dryly, his voice echoing like a blade sheathed in frost.
Liu Ruyue stepped forward, her eyes calmly analyzing the situation. Her gaze eventually rested on Chen Tian—only for a brief second—before moving on to the Zhu family.
