Chapter 192 - 192: Collision at Cake Island
"BIG MOM, don't worry. Take what I want ready—I'll be at the cake shop soon," Mio said casually.
Hearing this, BIG MOM sneered through the Den Den Mushi. "I've prepared your things a long time ago. I hope you didn't lie to me. Otherwise, today will be your death!"
With that, she hung up abruptly.
Mio didn't care about BIG MOM's attitude. As long as he got the Devil Fruit, that was all that mattered.
Shrugging his shoulders, Mio put away the Den Den Mushi.
The Black Glory sailed at a leisurely pace, not too fast nor too slow, like it was enjoying the scenery along the way. It seemed the ship feared missing the view if it rushed.
After about a quarter of an hour—
Swish!
A sound of something breaking through the air rang out.
A golden light shot from a distance with overwhelming force.
Clang! Erica dashed forward and slashed with her sword. Her blade, wrapped in Armament Haki, easily deflected the laser beam.
Mio looked up. In the far distance was a tiny black dot—it was a warship. On it stood none other than Kizaru, one of the Marine Admirals.
"Finally caught up. Baifeng, speed up," Mio said with a grin, his tone calm but sharp.
Baifeng responded without hesitation. She shouted toward Hanba, and the ship immediately surged forward with increased speed.
The three warships behind them showed no intention of stopping and pursued quickly.
However, Kizaru, standing on the lead warship, seemed puzzled. "Strange... Is the fight already over? Or did it never begin? Who released that Conqueror's Haki just now?"
But no one gave him an answer.
Soon after, both the Marine warships and the Black Glory entered the waters surrounding the Cake Shop. In the distance, the cake-shaped island came into view.
"Black Crow, you can't escape this time." Kizaru appeared above the Black Glory, golden light pulsing around him. His voice was cold and serious.
"That might not be the case, Kizaru," Mio chuckled, smiling mockingly.
"Hmph." Kizaru snorted but didn't respond further. He raised his right leg, golden light gathering, and released a powerful laser beam toward the Black Glory, trying to split it in two.
"Don't be so aggressive, Admiral Kizaru." Mio leaped into the air, easily drawing his sword and clashing with the beam midair—clang! Sparks flew as the force dispersed. With a grin, Mio said, "This is Cake Island's territory. It wasn't easy to lead you here. For that, I even prepared a little gift for you."
"Lead me?" Kizaru's eyes narrowed with suspicion.
Just then—
"BLACK CROW! Where is my son?!" A furious voice roared from the direction of the island. A ship approached steadily.
Even when those aboard saw Kizaru clearly, they didn't seem concerned.
The ship was pink and flamboyant, with a massive figure standing on the bow.
It was the Queen Mother Chant.
And the figure, unmistakably, was BIG MOM.
"Damn it, BIG MOM!" Kizaru's expression turned grim. He had instantly realized Mio's intentions.
"Where's the item I wanted?" Mio shrugged off Kizaru and landed back on the deck of the Black Glory, smiling as he asked.
BIG MOM didn't waste time with words. She simply opened two boxes, revealing Devil Fruits within.
Mio's eyes gleamed as he waved his hand. The fruits disappeared from the boxes and reappeared in his hands. He examined them closely.
"Though both are just Zoan-types, they're not bad," Mio said with satisfaction.
BIG MOM's pupils shrank slightly. She was clearly surprised—and even a little wary—of seeing Mio's mysterious power in person for the first time.
"You've taken your items. Now hand over my son," BIG MOM demanded coldly.
"I only promised to bring your son here. If you want to see him, go rescue him yourself." Mio smiled and pointed toward a nearby Marine warship. "Your two sons are imprisoned on that ship."
"Hmph!" As Mio spoke, Kizaru let out a cold snort. He raised his hand, and a massive ball of golden light condensed in the air, around ten meters wide. It radiated immense destructive power.
Without hesitation, he hurled it toward the Black Glory and immediately flew toward the warship.
He had no interest in staying here longer.

If Katakuri and Cracker weren't on that warship, things might have been different. Even if he had followed them to Cake Island, BIG MOM likely wouldn't have attacked. But with her sons captured, there was no doubt she'd go berserk.
A full-scale fight between high-level forces like them wouldn't end quickly—and would attract attention. Kizaru knew that before the Navy could even respond, pirates—possibly even Kaido—might show up.
And if that happened, he would be in deep trouble.
He was confident fighting one Emperor, but facing two? That was a death sentence.
Whoosh!
Baifeng's figure flickered into the air. Wind howled around her as she wrapped Haki around her leg and kicked the energy ball away. The orb exploded in the distance with a deafening BOOM, sending massive waves surging into the sky.
"Black Crow, you used me!" BIG MOM roared, though her eyes were fixed on the Marine warship.
She wasn't stupid—she now knew she'd been played. Mio had taken what he wanted without paying a true price. But she had no choice—if she wanted her sons back, she had to take action. Kizaru wouldn't simply hand them over.
And once she fought Kizaru, Mio would have his clean getaway.
"I didn't use you. I helped you, didn't I?" Mio said with a grin, then shouted, "Let's move!"
The Black Glory surged forward, speeding away from the battlefield.
"This damned brat... Sooner or later, I'll crush you with my own hands!!" BIG MOM snarled, but then turned her focus toward the warship.
"KIZARU! Return my sons!"
"BIG MOM, there are no sons of yours on this ship. If you don't want to fight, go back to your cake shop," Kizaru replied coldly.
He truly didn't want to fight. A battle of this scale would drain both time and strength.
Unfortunately for him, BIG MOM's eyes were bloodshot with fury.
"Then don't leave today!" she declared.
As her voice echoed across the sea, the sky above grew dark. Thunderclouds formed rapidly, lightning writhing like serpents through the stormy canopy.
"This damn old hag..." Kizaru cursed under his breath, golden light flickering rapidly across his body.
