One Piece: I'm Destined to Be the Son-in-Law King!-Chapter 231: Enel - Face My Fist

The Frost Wolf Mini, a small ship, glided across the vast ocean, heading towards the mysterious Jaya Island.

"La~ la la~," Uta sang softly, sitting comfortably near the ship's tall mast. Yamato, relaxed and carefree, lay on the deck beside her, playfully nudging her pet, a small beetle named Black Horn General, her bare feet swinging back and forth.

The journey was calm and peaceful, a welcome change. After the exciting energy of the concert, a few days of relaxing on the ship felt wonderful.

Roya steered the ship, his eyes scanning the horizon. Soon, he spotted the faint outline of an island in the distance. He turned to the two young girls with a smile.

"We're almost there."

"Sky Island?" Their eyes sparkled with excitement.

Roya had promised they would visit Sky Island next, and they had been eagerly waiting for this adventure.

"Yes, to Sky Island!"

Roya chuckled, unsheathing his sword. Instantly, the blade transformed into a massive, vibrant pink dragon. The dragon dove into the sea, then powerfully lifted the Frost Wolf upwards, carrying them towards the sky.

100 meters, then 1000 meters, and then an incredible 5000 meters...

The world below grew smaller and smaller. Jaya Island became a tiny black dot, while the view above expanded, revealing the sun's bright halo.

Reaching an altitude of seven thousand meters, they were met by enormous, fluffy cumulonimbus clouds, blocking the sky. To reach Sky Island, they first needed to pass through this thick sea of clouds, which felt much like navigating the ocean.

Yamato and Uta, standing side-by-side, threw their fists upward with determination!

"Go, Little Pink!" Yamato yelled.

"Roar~~~" Little Pink roared in response, opening its mouth. A dazzling light of fire gathered inside, ready to blast through the clouds!

"Heat Breath!" Uta exclaimed, as Little Pink unleashed a powerful fiery beam into the cloud layer. With a mighty "boom," a huge hole appeared in the clouds. Because the clouds quickly reformed, the hole started closing up.

Little Pink stepped on the flames, quickly climbing through the hole before it closed, the edges of the clouds rushing towards them.

"Roar!" At the last second, Little Pink burst out of the clouds, reaching an incredible height of 7,000 meters, and roared with all its might!

The thunderous dragon roar echoed through the sky, shaking the sea of clouds. Waves of cotton-like clouds rippled outwards.

The Frost Wolf then gently floated down onto the sea of clouds.

Yamato and Uta landed on the deck, looking out at the endless expanse of white clouds.

"The ship is floating on the clouds!" Uta exclaimed.

It felt like a scene from a dream.

Roya walked up behind them, smiling. "This isn't the real Sky Island yet. We need to go even higher. See that huge waterfall in the distance?"

"We see it!" Yamato confirmed.

"That's the entrance to Sky Island."

The massive, white waterfall appeared to connect the earth and the heavens.

The Frost Wolf sailed quickly, escorted by the pink dragon in the sky. In less than half an hour, they arrived at the Gate of the Sky.

The guards in charge of the gate had already spotted the approaching pink dragon and the small boat heading towards them.

"Entry fee: 1 billion Extol per person!"

"Here!" Roya tossed a bag of money to the guards.

He had prepared beforehand. The Sky Island currency to the world's currency ratio was 10,000 to 1, so 1 billion Extol was equivalent to 100,000 Belly.

That meant 300,000 Belly for the three of them.

The gatekeeper confirmed the amount and, without question, arranged for a special "express shrimp" to pull the Frost Wolf along the Cloud Road, ascending into the sky.

Ten minutes later, the Frost Wolf arrived at the White Sea, ten thousand meters above the ground. Just ahead of them was Sky Island, with houses packed tightly together.

Roya raised his hand, and with a reluctant whimper, Little Pink transformed back into a sword, landing safely in Roya's hand.

"Let's go," he said.

Meanwhile, in the Aerial Sanctuary.

"What is this?" Enel asked, leaning back on his throne, his eyes glued to a photo brought to him by a priest. Little Pink's flying form had captured his attention.

If I had a pet like that, why would I need to build the Ark "Maxim"? He wondered. I could just fly to the endless Earth!

"Bring them to me!" Enel commanded.

"Yes, Lord Enel!" The priest responded, bowing deeply.

At Angel Island, on the beach.

"Heave-ho!" Yamato and Uta were happily playing on the beach. The new environment excited them.

"Huff... huff... I'm a little out of breath," Uta said.

Roya explained, "The air here is much thinner than on the Surface World. It's best not to do anything too tiring until your body gets used to it."

"Oh, is that so?" Uta asked, looking at Roya, then at Yamato.

Why are you two okay! she wondered to herself.

Their arrival had quickly caught the attention of the Sky Islanders.

A kind girl with wings on her back and a harp in her hand approached them on the beach. "Are you from the Surface World?" she asked.

"Yes," Roya replied with a smile.

The girl smiled and introduced herself. "My name is Conis. If you need anything, I can help you."

"Thank you very much," Roya replied.

Roya glanced towards the huge forest behind Angel Island. That's the other half of Jaya Island, he thought.

Enel is there!

Roya looked away and asked with a smile, "Miss Conis, could you show these two around?"

"I can," Conis agreed, a hint of curiosity in her eyes.

"What about you, Mister?" she asked.

"Me?" Roya put his hands in his pockets and turned to leave.

"I'm going to kill a god!" he said casually.

Watching Roya walk towards God's Island, Conis froze.

Kill a god?

Did I hear that right?

No, no, no, no one in this world can beat Lord Enel, she thought desperately.

Anxiety filled Conis's eyes. "He's your friend, isn't he? If you make God angry, the consequences will be terrible. Aren't you worried about him?" she asked.

"Hee hee hee, don't worry, Roya will be back soon," Yamato giggled. No matter what Roya planned to do, she trusted him completely. Roya had never broken a promise to her.

Uta asked curiously, "You seem very afraid of that god?"

"..."

Conis bit her lip, afraid to speak.

God Enel is all-powerful. Even sharing my true feelings might bring down God's punishment!

All she could do was pray.

On God's Island.

"It's quite big," Roya said, standing at the edge of the island, looking at the giant forest in front of him. He closed his eyes, and his Observation Haki spread throughout the island.

Beams of energy, like tiny candle flames, appeared in his senses. One area was packed with denser energy. Enel is likely there, he thought.

"It's getting dark soon. Time to hurry."

"Boom!"

Roya put his hands in his pockets and used Moon Walk, quickly moving through the forest towards the area he sensed.

At the shrine on the island.

A dozen minutes later, the priests of the Four Great Ordeals all looked up at the same time.

"An enemy is coming!" One of them exclaimed.

Their Mantra (Observation Haki) had sensed a strong energy approaching. Just as the four of them prepared to act, Enel's voice echoed in their ears.

"Let the Surface World man come."

The priests stopped moving. Since God was preparing to deal with the Surface World man himself, they didn't need to interfere.

God's power was unquestionable.

Soon, Roya arrived at the shrine.

"Were you waiting for me?" Roya asked, ignoring the alert priests and calmly walking into the shrine. He quickly found Enel, who was relaxing on a sofa, eating an apple.

Enel smirked and asked, "Surface World man, where did your pink dragon go? I like it very much!"

"It's in my hand," Roya said, drawing his sword.

"Roar~~~"

With the dragon's roar, Little Pink appeared in the sky above the shrine. Its massive size left the priests and servants speechless.

"Yeh heh heh heh!" Enel laughed, standing up and looking at Little Pink hovering in the sky, opening his arms, his eyes filled with desire.

"Wonderful!"

"A creature with such a perfect form can only be ridden by God!"

"Surface World man, it belongs to me now!"

Roya shook his head, moved quickly in front of Enel, and clenched his fist. "Little Pink isn't yours, and don't be so arrogant."

Seeing the fist coming towards his head, Enel yawned.

He didn't even try to dodge it. This Surface World man doesn't know the power of God, he thought. When the fist touches me, the powerful electric current will paralyze him.

Besides, even if I get hit, I'm lightning. I can't be hurt.

"Bang!!!"

The powerful fist slammed into Enel's forehead. With a loud "crack," half of his skull shattered!

"Na~ni~~~"

Enel's eyes widened, and he couldn't think clearly. Unspeakable pain shot through his body.

Why, why did this Surface World man's fist hit me? Why didn't my body turn into lightning?

No! No!

He couldn't understand anything, and he hadn't even used his powers. His struggles were useless.

Darkness consumed him!
