One Piece: Supreme Check-In System-Chapter 65: Oaths of Steel, Bonds of Blood
Chapter 65 - Oaths of Steel, Bonds of Blood
Voidreign Kingdom – Royal Medical Ward
The aftermath of battle hung thick in the air.
Inside the Grand Royal Infirmary, rows of beds stretched across the vast marble hall. The scent of antiseptics mixed with the metallic tang of blood. Hundreds of Void Knights lay resting, some wrapped in bandages, others unconscious, their once-gleaming armor cracked and scorched.
The five Supreme Void Knights occupied a raised platform at the far end, separated by heavy curtains and watched by elite healers and commanders.
And yet...
A strange sound echoed through the halls.
Crunch. Munch. Slurp.
All around, injured knights were devouring food like demons unleashed. Mountains of roasted meat, bowls of steaming rice, and towering stacks of bread vanished into their mouths with wild abandon.
Even knights with fractured arms or missing teeth shoveled food with their good hands.
The sight would have seemed grotesque... if it weren't so human.
The sounds of hunger and survival.
Of warriors clinging to life.
-----
A hush fell over the room.
The heavy doors at the entrance swung open.
Jessie entered, dressed in his battle-worn cloak, his blade at his side. The room's oppressive air shifted as heads turned.
The eating slowed.
Knights attempted to stand, some staggering, others too weak.
Jessie raised a hand.
"Stay seated. Eat. Rest."
A grin tugged at the corner of his lips as he watched them stuff their faces.
"You all look like a pack of demonic beasts tearing through a feast after war."
Laughter rippled through the room. A few knights coughed as they choked on bread, others chuckled despite bruised ribs.
Then Jessie's voice softened.
He stepped forward, voice carrying with authority.
"To everyone here... congratulations."
The words hung in the air like a blessing.
"You've fought your hardest. You've faced the abyss and lived. From this day forward—you are no longer mere soldiers. You are protectors of the Voidreign Kingdom. You will guard its people. You will ensure no child ever sees despair in their eyes. No mother shall know fear. No man shall bow to terror."
The room was silent now.
A hundred warriors, some with tears, others with clenched fists, stared at their king.
In unison, they spoke:
"Yes, my king!"
Their voices thundered through the infirmary walls.
Even the five Supreme Knights stirred from their rest, managing weak but proud grins.
------
Jessie nodded.
"Good."
He raised his hand toward the air. A flicker of light danced in his palm.
From his System Space, a brilliant glow erupted.
A hundred and five Senzu Beans appeared from thin air, suspended in shimmering motes of light. Their emerald green glow bathed the hall.
Gasps rippled through the ranks.
"What... is that?"
"a beans?."
Jessie's voice was calm.
"A gift. One that restores life... and strength."
He sent them floating toward each warrior, one to each.
"Eat them."
Without hesitation, each knight swallowed the bean.
A surge of light coursed through their bodies.
Wounds sealed.
Broken bones reset.
Bruises faded.
Tired eyes sharpened.
Even the five Supreme Knights sat up as vigor returned to their limbs.
The entire infirmary transformed in moments from a chamber of suffering to a hall of awakened titans.
A few knights flexed their arms in disbelief. Others wept openly. One even dropped to his knees.
"I... I can stand again!"
"My strength—it's back!"
The room buzzed with newfound energy.
Jessie nodded once more, satisfied.

He made his way to the center of the room.
"Remember this feeling. The pain you've endured. The victories you've claimed. The brothers you fought beside."
His voice turned colder, steel beneath his words.
"Because this is not the end. There will be more battles. Deadlier enemies. Darker nights. But so long as you draw breath, so long as you wear the banner of Voidreign—you will never fall alone."
The room stood as one, slamming fists against their chests in salute.
"For Voidreign!"
Jessie turned to leave.
Without another word, he walked out, his long cloak trailing behind him.
The doors closed behind him with a final, resounding boom.
-------
In the corridor beyond, Kuina awaited, leaning casually against a pillar.
She raised an eyebrow.
"You get all sentimental in there?"
Jessie smirked.
"Only when they deserve it."
Kuina gave a soft chuckle.
Together, they strode down the corridor, side by side, leaving behind a hall of warriors reborn and a kingdom stronger than ever.
