Chapter 123: Chapter 123: Advance Plan, Gaia, the Lord of the City

The Mage of the Five Elements, Stage 4, Advanced Task:

Requirements: The Five Elements Talent must be increased to 30%, and the Five Elements Technique must be raised to Level 4.

Also, you must kill 10,000 stage 4 or higher demonic creatures with the Five Elements attribute.

Johnnie has not completed a single one of these requirements.

Especially the improvement of the Five Elements Talent, which can only be achieved by refining the Five Elements Spirit Orbs.

He no longer has any Five Elements Spirit Orbs in his possession, and only high-level boss monsters of the Five Elements attribute have a chance of dropping them.

"First, kill the Five Elements monsters!"

Johnnie looked at the Miner Golems constantly emerging from the mine shaft, and once again began the massacre.

These Miner Golems are stage 5, metal attribute monsters, which fully meet the requirements.

One after another, the Miner Golems were killed, and the prompt messages kept coming, while his experience points slowly increased.

A pile of loot lay scattered on the ground, including stage 5 weapons, equipment, and various ores.

Dylan had already sent a group of soldiers to clean up the battlefield. The surrounding monsters had already been cleared, and there was no danger.

Johnnie continued deeper into the mine shaft. More and more Miner Golems kept appearing, and they were getting stronger.

However, with the passive damage and attack speed stacking from the Great Transformation Sword Technique, his killing speed did not slow down — it actually became faster.

The Five Elements Technique was continuously being used. One Miner Golem after another was killed, and his proficiency in the Five Elements Technique was rapidly increasing.

Wherever Johnnie went, all that was left was a pile of corpses and scattered loot.

[Ding! You have killed 10,000 stage 4 or higher metal attribute monsters. The Mage of the Five Elements Advanced Task is now 6% complete.]

The prompt message appeared. Unconsciously, he had already killed 10,000 Miner Golems.

"I wonder if the boss of the Miner Golems here will drop a Golden-Spirit Pearl." Johnnie muttered to himself, and continued exploring deeper into the mine, searching for the boss of the Miner Golems.

Ding!

At that moment, his private message notification rang. It was Aaryn.

Johnnie quickly checked it.

Aaryn: "Guru, this is not a game. It’s a real world!"

Aaryn’s message was filled with shock.

Johnnie already knew, and wasn’t surprised. He was still fighting the ever-emerging Miner Golems and replied.

Johnnie: "How did you find out this information?"

Aaryn: "Advance Action! The Doe Family’s Advance Action is to make us arrive at the Universe Continent."

"What?" Johnnie was shocked. He only knew that the game would eventually invade reality, but he hadn’t expected that players could actually arrive at the Universe Continent.

He quickly asked, "How did the Doe Family manage to do that?"

Aaryn: "I don’t know. It seems only Dorian can do it. The purpose of the Advance Action is to make us arrive at the Universe Continent, complete a series of tasks, and then return to the real world, which would allow us to bring the abilities from the game into reality."

Johnnie was shocked. This was exactly the same as refining the Pearl of Creation.

The Doe Family being able to bring game items into the real world was already shocking enough, but now they could also send players to the Universe Continent.

If he wasn’t mistaken, the Doe Family’s descendants had definitely not left the Dragon Kingdom. They had all entered the Universe Continent. Otherwise, how could tens of thousands of them just vanish into thin air?

Aaryn continued sending a message:

"Guru, the Doe Family wants us to merge game attributes with the real world, to fight against the Ancient Martial Arts Families in the Dragon Kingdom. Their first target is the Yett Family, and you too. Guru, you must be very careful."

Johnnie: "Okay. This information is important to me. You be careful too, don’t expose yourself. And try to find out as much as you can about how Dorian managed to send players into the Universe Continent."

Aaryn: "Got it."

Johnnie closed the private message, his brow furrowed.

If the Doe Family had a way to let large numbers of players merge game attributes, it would be a big problem.

The Yett Family would definitely not be a match for the Doe Family’s descendants after merging game attributes.

He had to find a way to improve the strength of the Yett Family’s descendants.

"Fossil of Creation and the Elixir of Immortality." Johnnie thought, recalling the information that Sky Blue City’s Lord of the City had given him. The Astral City’s Lord of the City, Gaia, at least had two Fossils of Creation.

It was impossible to get a large number of Fossils of Creation to help the Yett Family and their descendants improve their strength.

The only option was the Elixir of Immortality.

Making the Elixir of Immortality required a large amount of Half-Life Lotus. But the Ancient Martial Arts Families had already run out of Half-Life Lotus, most of which were in the Doe Family’s hands.

"Maybe the Apocalypse Group has some Half-Life Lotus." Johnnie thought.

The Elixir of Immortality was important, but the Doe Family didn’t have the ability to make it. Lina had been saved by him, but the Apocalypse Group still had a team that studied the Elixir of Immortality, and they definitely had a lot of it in their possession.

"First, kill the Lord of the Astral City, seize the Fossil of Creation, merge the game attributes, and eliminate the Apocalypse Group and the Snow Family!" Johnnie made up his mind. He raised his hand and used the Five Elements Technique, covering the entire mine shaft. In an instant, all the Miner Golems in the area were slaughtered.

Johnnie glanced at his experience points — thirteen thousand.

He was currently at Stage 5, Level 1. He needed one million experience points to level up. In just half a day, he had only gained a little over ten percent of that.

The experience required for future levels would only get higher.

"Astral City is a Level 3 city. The Lord of the City is at least at Stage 5, legendary strength. He can’t be taken lightly. I must stay in battle mode."

Johnnie muttered to himself. Then he thought of something and summoned the Red Carp, saying:

"The Red Carp, hit me."

"Uh?" The Red Carp was stunned, thinking he had heard wrong. He looked at Johnnie with suspicion.

Johnnie said: "I need to stay in battle mode to fight against the Lord of the Astral City. Otherwise, the damage and attack speed boosts from the Great Transformation Sword Technique will reset."

"Oh, okay. I thought Master had some weird preference." the Red Carp sighed in relief, then raised his hand and hit Johnnie’s head.

-211

[Ding! You have been attacked by the Sword Spirit, the Red Carp. Do you want to punish him?]

Sword Spirit? It shouldn’t be Sword Soul, right?

Johnnie was confused, but he didn’t think too much about it. He just chose "No."

Boom!

He took another hit to the head, still dealing over two hundred points of damage — completely harmless to him.

"The Red Carp, can you stop hitting my head?" Johnnie said, a bit annoyed.

"Oh." The Red Carp responded, then looked him up and down, unsure where to hit next.

"Never mind, do whatever you want." Johnnie didn’t bother arguing anymore. He left the mine shaft, reminded the soldiers cleaning up the battlefield to be careful, and then flew with the Controlled Sword back to Mountain City.

The Red Carp kept hitting him, making sure he stayed in combat mode.

Mountain City still had players around.

A lot of players saw the scene and looked confused.

"Is that Johnnie Guru?"

"Are you kidding me? Who is that girl next to him? How dare she hit Johnnie Guru?"

"She must be his girlfriend. Wow, she’s really beautiful."

"Does Johnnie Guru have a masochistic streak? He doesn’t even fight back when his girl hits him?"

"If I had a girlfriend that beautiful, I’d take a beating without fighting back."

"Stop talking nonsense. That guy is a monster. He kills people without blinking!"

...

The players around recognized Johnnie and started gossiping.

He didn’t pay them any attention at all. He went to the teleportation point in Mountain City and tried to head to Astral City.

[Ding! You are in combat mode. Teleportation Array cannot be activated.]

A prompt message appeared. He couldn’t teleport while in combat.

"This is a problem." Johnnie sighed. He had no choice but to fly with the Controlled Sword.

Luckily, Mountain City wasn’t too far from Astral City. Flying at full speed, it would take less than an hour to arrive.

The wind howled, and the scenery below rushed backward.

Johnnie flew straight through the forest where monsters roamed, heading straight for Astral City.

Occasionally, flying monsters appeared, but they were instantly left far behind.

The speed of Fly with the Controlled Sword was far faster than normal flying monsters.

"Master, where are we going?" The Red Carp kept hitting him, keeping him in combat mode, and asked curiously.

Johnnie answered, "Astral City."

"Astral City?" The Red Carp’s eyes lit up, her expression excited. "Is it about killing demonic creatures?"

She had been trapped in The Whispering Gorge before, and it was the demonic creatures and Astral City that had caused her trouble.

The Red Carp hated those demonic creatures with a passion.

"It’s about taking down the Lord of Astral City. I’ll help you deal with the demonic creatures later." Johnnie said.

The Whispering Gorge was an Eternal Secret Realm. If his guess was right, it had an entrance to the Demon Lair.

He also had a hidden quest from The Map of Heaven and Earth that required him to enter the Demon Lair.

But that quest wasn’t urgent. He needed to get the Fossil of Creation first to solve the real-world problems.

The wind howled, and soon, Astral City came into view.

This was also a Level 3 city, with very few players inside.

Johnnie didn’t bother landing. He flew straight toward the city governor’s residence and used the Void Sword technique: Rupture the Ground.

Whirr!

The Intent of the Sword hummed, and a massive blade of energy shot down.

Boom!

With over a thousand times of damage from the Great Transformation Sword Technique and the added damage from Rupture the Ground, it dealt ten thousand times of damage.

Such a terrifying attack destroyed a large portion of the city governor’s residence.

"Who dares to run wild in Astral City!" A loud voice roared, and a bunch of city guards appeared from the city. They were all Stage 4, Level 1 warriors.

Arrows flew, magic raged, and they came crashing down on Johnnie.

Johnnie sneered. He raised his hand and used the Five Elements Technique, splitting the Seven Sword into seven, and brutally slaughtered the city guards below.

These guys were no match for him. Under his terrifying attack, they were all killed in an instant.

He didn’t gain any experience points from killing them, since his level was far above them.

"Stop!" A loud voice rang out, and a figure flew out from deep within the city governor’s residence.

It was a middle-aged man in golden armor, holding a silver broadsword. He looked serious and imposing.

The Lord of Astral City, Gaia.

"Johnnie!" He immediately recognized Johnnie, his brow furrowed, and coldly asked, "Johnnie, we don’t have any grudge, do we? Why did you attack my Astral City?"

Johnnie smirked. Astral City was part of the Demon God faction, and he hadn’t really targeted it.

But the game invading the real world, and the demonic creatures causing damage to humans, was no less than Pluto.

"We don’t have a grudge right now. I just don’t like you guys." Johnnie said, not wanting to waste time. He used the Swordsmanship Technique for Controlling Swords, and seven flying swords whistled toward him.

"Die!" Gaia roared in anger and raised his Great Sword, blocking the incoming blades.
