Overlord Tamer: All My Pet Monsters Have God Potential-Chapter 56: Overhauling, Stupendous Progress
Chapter 56: Overhauling, Stupendous Progress
John woke up in the morning at seven o’clock.
After freshening up, John stayed in the bathroom and thought. ’No one should be watching me, right? Duh, obviously.’
Shaking his head, John entered Monster Paradise without further hesitation.
He had planted a lot of resources from yesterday night and also got a lot of monsters inside. Surely, he would have gathered a good amount of the Molding Essence, right?
Arriving inside, John looked at the status of Monster Paradise, and his eyes popped.
10,392 Molding Essence!
"Hell yeah!" John’s eyes brightened.
The first thing he did was to create a simple thin forest, but completely sealed off from the rest of the island.
And John did that after turning the cages to face the empty area, shocking them.
"Yo, what the fuck?"
"Is he really a human?"
"He created a forest by waving a hand!"
"I bet my hairy butt this is an illusion! A trick to deceive us!"
"Looks real...just like these cages and other stuff."
"Dumb monkey, it’s all real!"
John smirked. "You all seeing this, right? Yep, I can do that. And this forest will be your new prison...unless you decide to live in harmony with others."
After saying that, John waved his hand, causing the cages to float up as they entered the forest before they opened.
The forest’s size was 5 kilometers in radius, more than enough for these hundred Silver-rank Monsters to live as prisoners.
Afterward, John removed the previous habitats he had created and then used Molding Essence to create a large area with exotic biomes for different attributes.
First, he created a snowy mountain and a volcanic area before creating a huge clear lake between the two.
To the north of the vast lake, he built a 2-kilometer radius forest with blood and darkness attributes for Alfred and Rexion.
To the south of the lake, he built tall trees synergizing with wind and flora attributes, where Starry, Pymon, and their three kids excitedly flew across.
To the southeast, he built an oasis with a mixture of desert and rocky land of Earth attributes.
By now, he was only left with 1.5k Molding Essence.
"Chuthulos, you there?"
"What’s up, brother John?" Chuthulos’s avatar appeared a second later.
"I think we need to create a proper ecosystem of biomes here. I want the weather to change, lightning to fall, thunder to crackle, rain, and everything intersecting in these habitats," John said.
"For a complete ecosystem, everything is possible with Molding Essence except for a water source," Chuthulos said as his eyes appeared thoughtful for a moment. "I got an idea. If we use Molding Essence for a water source, it’s going to cost us a lot to maintain it. Instead of that, we should connect this island with an outside water source."
"That...we do have a massive water source, which is none other than the Chaosrumble Ocean," John said and blinked. "So you’re saying we can make a channel of water from it to here?"
"Exactly." Chuthulos nodded. "Just go to the ocean, touch its water, and then call me. I’ll make a streamlined channel without letting us get detected."
"Great. I’ll call you when I go there later," John grinned. "For now, I’ll finish the last one."
John’s eyes flickered as he got a view from the top, overlooking his creations.
Waving his hand, he spent the last 1.5k Molding Essence to create a black rock barren land in the northeast, beside the volcanic regions, and formed some dark clouds crackling with lightning there.
Of course, John made sure to let the imprisoned Monsters see it by creating a theatre screen above their thin forest.
All of them watched with jaw-dropping expressions as John acted like a god creating a world.
"Snap me! I said, Snap me!"
"This human is a god!"
"All hail God John!"
"Snap me!"
"Annoying bird, shut up!"
"I am going to snap you!"
One fight broke out, and then another.
John was speechless when he saw a few Monsters die.
"You dumbfucks," John muttered as he saw them. ’I guess putting this many Monsters together in a small forest was going to cause chaos and kill sooner or later.’
However, he didn’t intend to stop them. Most of them naturally had survival priorities, so they soon scattered away in different parts of the forest.
’It’d be interesting if they partner with other Monsters, not of their species.’
But John wasn’t interested in watching them anymore. His job was done, and his Pet Monsters, as well as allied Monsters, were happy in the new habitats.
After leaving Monster Paradise, John made a mental note of today’s task.
’When Azelis returns, I’ll have to ask her about the resource, and I will tell her I encountered a mysterious Sage kindred, who told me the recipe to evolve my Pymon. As for Rexion, it’s better I keep him hidden until I evolve him and find a proper excuse for a location where I captured him.’
That meant he would need to go out on some expedition to a random wilderness in the Heavenrend continent as John Wicked of the Ouroboros Sect. There were three such great spots, shared by the five ruling sects.
Either he could go there or to some other spot in one of the four regions.
’Well, I’ll see to it when the time comes. For now, it’s time to train in the Monster Geno Art.’
John wanted to reach the peak of Bronze-stage as soon as possible.
As John activated the nexus and roused it, the spirit energy in the atmosphere began whirling around him and got pulled inside, which he began circulating through via the opened spots and connecting lines of his Spirit Physique.
After a minute, the attraction of spirit energy turned massive like it did in the airship again because John’s precise control and fast circulation speed generated such a powerful pull for the spirit energy of the atmosphere, increasing his progression speed further.
John was so absorbed and focused that time passed without him realizing it.
The morning went, noon passed, and night descended, but he was still in his meditation form as spirit energy was pulled in, which he used to circulate as his body got refined and became stronger.
At around 8 p.m.
Azelis returned from Nexus City, arriving on her dragon, and sensed a strong convergence of spirit energy in her courtyard from a mile away.
"Hmm?" Azelis blinked. She turned into an ethereal bolt of shadow while her dragon vanished into her soul space. She landed in the courtyard shortly.
"This..." Azelis couldn’t believe her eyes. John’s aura was nearing the peak of Bronze-rank in terms of stats!
It means he was getting close to having his Strength, Speed, and Defense reach 50!
Azelis felt shaken. "Wait, how long have you been training for? He should have returned from the island yesterday night..."
Suddenly, she felt a prick in her mind and turned her head upward at an angle to the left, seeing two Executives floating.
Executive Tavros, with his fluttering red hair, floated beside Executive Yasmin.
Azelis flew up beside them, her nose high and voice filled with pride. "This is my future apprentice, and as you can see, he is better than most, including Rakin."
