Overlord Tamer: All My Pet Monsters Have God Potential-Chapter 61: Thunderblitz Tempest Falcon, Awesome Goods
Chapter 61: Thunderblitz Tempest Falcon, Awesome Goods
It was raining as John and Azelis returned after having dinner at around 9 o’clock.
"Alright, we’ve finished dinner, and you’ve trained plenty today. It’s time to sleep."
But just as Azelis spoke, John felt something stirring within his soul space.
"My Pymon evolved." John’s eyes sparkled, and he waved his hand.
From a hazy golden light with black sparks that shot out of John, a majestic falcon manifested.
Sleek body covered in shimmering feathers of blue, grey, and gold, crackling with wind, water, and lightning energy as if harboring a violent storm.
The blade-like wings whip up gales with every beat as Pymon cries loudly in joy and power, leaving trails of charged mist in his wake.
Pymon’s glowing azure eyes with a new golden flicker in them cut through fog and rain, while the talons and beak spark with storm-forged power.
When Pymon dives, he becomes like a thunderbolt— swift, precise, and deadly.
Pymon’s wingspan stretched 3 meters wide, while from the beak to his fan-like, sharp, feathery tail, the length was two meters long.
But this was his size at just the Young-stage! In Silver-rank, Pymon was likely going to grow over twice as much upon reaching the Prime-stage!

"Thunderblitz Tempest Falcon, indeed." Azelis smiled as she took out a small, strange badge with patterns and a hole in the middle. Putting it over her right eye, she inspected Pymon.
"Good. Your Pymon got Elemental Mastery of all three aligned attributes. This will make it easier for you to train him further and develop a talent in Silver-rank."
John blinked. "You can see everything about a Monster with that thing?"
"Not everything," Azelis shook her head as she put the badge away. "But you can see the name, attributes, growth-stage, stats, and elemental masteries. It’s a standard scanner badge issued in Nexus City’s Tamer’s Association."
Azelis smiled and added. "These things are not made anywhere on this continent or the other. I told you there’s a vaster world, but you’ll have to become stronger to be able to see it."
"Now go and sleep. After some training tomorrow and some sparring in the Arena, you will need to spend the remaining five days until the competition to train your Monsters and yourself in the wilderness. You should also evolve your 3rd Pet Monster as soon as possible."
"I will do it," John nodded, his resolve evident. "I want to go to that dimensional island no matter the cost, so I will train the hardest I’ve ever had alongside my Monsters to win quota. Also, I would like you to give me a list of wilderness zones in the southeast, from which I will pick one randomly and go there."
"So you really want to follow that weird prophecy?" Azelis wryly smiled and nodded. "Fine, I’ll give you the list tomorrow. Now go and sleep."
"Roger."
John sent Pymon to the Monster Paradise, who immediately began taunting all Silver-rank prisoners and Monsters.
"Bwahahahah! Catch me if you can now, mothafukers!"
"Woah, Dad became so cool!"
"Dad, Dad!"
"Bastard, why did you give me an electric shock?!"
"Catch him!"
"Not here, brother Pymon. The plants are scared."
"Sorry, sorry, my bad, Becky. It was a mistake. I didn’t know I could become so fast, hahaha!"
"I am the storm! Watch me make a hundred goals in the next match, hahaha!"
"Damn it! Hey, spider, web him!"
"His skills are so strong..."
"Fuck, I missed my Lightning Spike!"
"Humph, none of your shitty skills can work against me, you losers. This is the power of my master, John Wicked! Just wait until he trains us more later. We will become even more powerful!"
...
John went to his room, but instead of sleeping right away, he sent his consciousness into the Monster Paradise as his avatar appeared there.
Seeing Pymon messing with Monsters in the Prison Forest, John was speechless, but he let Pymon be. Those prisoners must learn to coexist, and they will only do that once they see the benefits clearly.
And John could see in their eyes that it wouldn’t be long before all of them caved in.
"For now, let’s make this island more colorful."
[Monster Paradise Island #1]
-Size: 100 kilometers radius
-Molding Essence: 22,383 (9k-10k/day)]
John created more biomes, thunderous peaks, clouds, forests, and so on, spending all the Molding Essence.
But around 70% of this 100-kilometer radius island was still empty.
After he was done designing the island, John looked at Xhalthuun’s shop and refreshed it using the daily free refresh.
He had sacrificed a few resources that grew seeds since they would grow again. Not all plants gave him seeds, unfortunately, or that would’ve been awesome.
’Come on, give me something good.’
[Xhalthuun’s Shop]
-Shop level: 2
-Xhal Drops: 37,489
< This week’s Items > ( Refresh Cost: 100 Xhal Drops. )
1. Soul Technique: Starlight Rider—300,000 Xhal Drops.
2. Spirit Armor (Light-weight): Hollowfang Drakeskin—240,400 Xhal Drops.
3. Seeds of Cradleflare Orchid—80,400 Xhal Drops.
4. Soul Technique Selection Box (Mid-tier)—100,000 Xhal Drops.
John blinked and then squinted his eyes. After he was silent for a few seconds, he slapped his thigh.
"Fuck!"
He just finished reading the stuff in detail and couldn’t help but curse, not out of annoyance, but excitement!
Starlight Rider was a movement technique! It was better and faster to learn this instead of learning the 10-star Monster Geno Art. Of course, he was going to learn it too, but the priority shifted after he got this technique. He had yet to figure out dual Monster Geno Art training, and he had no time for experiments, but learning a Soul Technique didn’t have the hassle like that.
Next, that Spirit Armor was a freaking King-rank spirit item!
And Cradleflare Orchid was a King-rank resource seed!
’Fuck, I want them!’
Starlight Rider could solve a problem because it was a freaking high-tier Soul Technique and if he learned it, he could use it as Sage Kindred to escape fast!
Spirit Armor could protect him. That was an absolute requirement and top priority to keep him safe. Who knows how much a King-rank spirit armor costs in Essence Coins? Whatever the cost, he knew he wasn’t going to be able to afford it anytime soon.
Lastly, for the above two things, he must buy the seeds! After growing the seeds into King-rank resources, he could sacrifice them to Xhalthuun and get Xhal Drops to buy those two items!
’Surely, a King-rank resource would give me easily over a hundred thousand Xhal Drops.’
Without further ado, John quickly sacrificed a few resources from the garden, under the sad gaze of Becky, and brought the Cradleflare Orchid’s seeds.
"Becky, don’t be sad. These are meant to be used for us," John said with a smile as he patted Becky’s head. "Here, these five seeds are very, very, very...and very important, okay? I need them to grow safe and sound."
Suddenly, Chuthulos appeared with a "Surprise!" Startling John and Becky both.
"..."
"What surprise?" John asked, blinking in curiosity.
"Eh, nothing. Just me arriving here, hehe. Oh, it seems you got King-rank Seeds. Nice. To grow them faster, you need to connect the ocean’s water channel here, which would give the Monster Paradise more natural spirit energy in the atmosphere and also better water."
"Oh, yeah...King-rank resources could take longer to grow." John clicked his tongue. "Alright, I’m gonna tell teacher Azelis that I want to train at the beach tomorrow. With that excuse, I can connect the channel."
Chuthulos nodded. "Sounds good. Anyway, I am here to chill for a bit, and some of my fellow gods also want to watch football of Monsters."
"Oh, Pymon evolved? He looks nice and powerful," Chuthulos blinked as he saw Pymon flying around, crackling lightning and sonic booms.
"Yep. The prison monsters are going to become obedient soon, so another football match will help," John grinned. "You all enjoy, I need to sleep."
"Oui, good night." Chuthulos vanished, and the first thing he did was to make the football field bigger.
"Good night, Master John." Becky gently said. "Sweet dreams."
John chuckled and patted the cute beetle’s head. "Thanks, Becky. You have fun, too."
