[You have defeated 12 thousand soldiers.]

I have to admit.

No matter how many times I hear it, a massive experience notification is always sensational. It gets me feeling good.

But there was something that made me feel even better.

Hearing Toph admit she was wrong was the best feeling.

As everyone in this city—or base—was switching dominance, I was staring at Toph in a private room that belonged to the previous commander of this base.

She was looking out the window, avoiding my gaze.

Katara was crossing her arms and standing by the door, watching us.

"Toph. You're not seeing with your eyes, so is it useless not to meet my eyes?" I said as she avoided eye contact.

"Meet your eyes, and then what? Have a dance with them?" she deadpanned.

"I don't know. Maybe say something like, Ryuk, I'm sorry, I was wrong." I said.

"Oh. But that doesn't work on Katara, does it? Because you're the one who ends up apologizing even when you're right." She scowled.

Katara raised an eyebrow.

"When?" I asked.

It's not an apology, it's diplomacy.

"I don't know. Like when you said you got a stomach ache?" Toph explained.

"So, changing the subject and stirring a fight between me and Katara is easier than saying that you were doubting my strength?" I said.

During the fight against the soldiers... not really a fight, but a one-sided slaughter, the girls were staring at me with awe, and I could see their expressions the whole time.

"Okay," Toph rolled her eyes. "I was... I was... misguided. Happy!" she yelled the last word.

I messed up her hair.

"It's fun teasing you." I smirked.

She bunched my elbow, but I felt nothing. Chi bending for you.

"Anyway, now that the prisoners have taken control over this base, what do we do?" Toph asked.

"We wait for the White Lotus Order to send someone to govern this side. Since it's very close to the sea, it's a strategic place and would need a huge army to protect it." I explained.

"From whom?" Toph asked.

"From someone like Ryuk, but eviler and more ambitious." Katara explained.

"Hey, isn't he ambitious?" Toph asked.

"Toph is right," I defended myself. I was a very ambitious man. After the war was over, I would settle somewhere. I would open my own restaurant and enjoy a slow life.

That's a very high ambition compared to my previous life's realistic hopes... dying while debt-free used to be my biggest ambition. frёewebnoѵēl.com

"Really, what's your dream?" Katara asked. "You never told me."

I raised my hand, saying, "Hush."

I could hear sound waves. And they were talking about something interesting.

"I can't believe I had to crawl from the North Pole to the Western Sea. And now, I have to ignore a base falling. This war is over." It was a feminine voice.

"Princess, calm yourself."

"That's right. The lord has his plan, so have more faith in him."

"Let's get lost in the sea before we get caught in the wave."

"Toph and Katara. I'm sorry, but I have to go and have a little chat." I said.

"Where are you going?" asked Katara.

"To talk to a friend, a new one." I smiled at them as I walked to the window and squatted on the ledge.

"Who's that friend?" asked Toph.

"My last piece to humiliate someone." I said, jumping off the ledge. Before I could hit the ground, my body floated. A cloud formed from thin air, and my feet landed on it, carrying me all the way toward the nearby voices.

The Fire Lord's daughter was here.

And according to what I heard, she had escaped from the North Pole.

Because I was faster than her, I arrived at this place before her.

And she was in my way.

I had a dream, and that was to dominate the Fire Lord's palace on my own, as a one-man army. To make him lose his honor before dethroning him.

And the best way to do that was by giving him a warning first—that I was coming for him.

And who's better to deliver a message from me than someone from his side?

I continued flying until I saw a ship.

They seemed to have noticed me.

Beams of fire shot into the sky, heading toward me. These beams were thick and strong, apparently not the work of amateurs.

In the middle of them, a very sharp thin fire headed straight for me.

It was so thin it was barely noticeable.

A blue fire.

And it felt so sharp it could cut me in half.

I tilted my head to the left, letting it pass.

Yet the thin string rolled over me, trying to cut me.

That was some skill, I had to admit.

But it was far from enough to hurt someone like me.

My Chi created a blue aura around me, repelling the string of fire.

When I looked at the deck, I saw an angry face glaring at me.

That angry face was very pretty, and the owner had a pretty body as well. She was tall, with black silky hair and sharply defined features. Her lips were full, her nose small, and her eyes bright yellow. She had huge breasts and an hourglass figure.

That must be Azula.

How did I know?

Because Bumi had shown me her portrait.

And I used that portrait as research material.

So, it was easy to remember.

"Beauty from mother and brains from father," I muttered as I jumped off the cloud and landed on the deck.

The crew surrounded me, their legs shaking.

"What do you want?" Azula growled at me, taking a defensive stance.

"I want you to deliver a message to your father." I put my hands in my pockets and walked slowly toward her, towering over her figure, staring down at her.

Her eyelids twitched. She asked,

"What message?"

"I'm coming for you, alone. And I'm going to humiliate you in front of everyone. A week from now. If you don't leave your throne, I'll be angry." I said confidently. "Tell him if he doesn't accept, then I will do unspeakable things to him in front of the whole royal family."

"That's quite bold coming from someone who was nothing more than a barbarian waterbender a year ago." Azula replied, clearly angry.

"Daddy's little girl is quite bold, I see." I smiled. "But at least you did your research."

"So, you agree with me that you are nothing but a barbarian with extra power?" she said.

"Just because you are nothing more than a bitch with talent doesn't make you any less than me." I replied, matching her tone.

I knew people like Azula.

They may not have political power, but they are narcissists who try to turn the tables on you. The moment they realize they can't beat you physically or verbally, they try to trivialize you.

"Oh, did I touch a sensitive nerve?" Azula smirked.

I sighed.

She clearly didn't know that I was the one who held the power here.

I quickly grabbed her hair and lowered my face toward hers.

"You're quite good-looking for a girl," I said. "You better not piss me off. Or else, I could pin you down and give everyone here a show to enjoy."

The soldiers around were visibly shaking, and most were too afraid to try to shoot anything.

Azula gritted her teeth.

Her body suddenly glowed blue, sparks of lightning dancing around her.

She smirked, "Die!"

Then a pillar of lightning appeared in the middle of the ship, destroying everything.

A cloud of smoke rose, and the ship turned into scrap metal covered by fire.

The heat generated by the lightning was so intense that the iron melted.

From the scraps, Azula pushed the wood and metal above her and rose.

"At least that son of a bitch is dead," she sighed. Then she smirked and laughed.

"Did you just curse my mom?" I said.

Azula's laughter stopped.

Her eyes opened wide.

She looked up to see me floating.

"What the hell did you do?" she said.

"Chi bending. You can discharge lightning by creating pathways or simply surround your body with Chi. You would have a better chance against me if you had that agile friend of yours." I said.

"You mean Ty Lee?" she scoffed, extending her hands. From her fingers, snakes of lightning danced, creating a lightning net in the air.

Ignoring her question, I said, "Impressive. You can control lightning instead of just releasing it."

"I have plenty of tricks if you're interested," she said, aiming at me and creating a net in the air.

I flicked my finger.

"Not interested."

Her body got blocked by bloodbending.

"Wait... what did you...?" she struggled to speak, and I had to admire her courage. Bloodbending is quite painful, and to speak through it is a sign of very strong willpower.

She floated toward me, against her will.

She stood in front of me, avoiding my eye contact.

I grabbed her chin. "So, what was I saying before you said die... right. It's not wise to be rude to a man who can harm you." I gave her a light slap on the cheek, just to assert dominance. "And it's wiser to stay down since I'm willing to use you as a messenger. But you went against me, so I have changed my plans."

"What are you planning to do?" she asked, horror filling her eyes.

"Take you home, honey." I flicked my finger, and she lost consciousness.
