Primordial Ancient Serpent-Chapter 405: The Shock of the Doomsday Beings, The Doomsdays Imprisoned
Chapter 405 - 405: The Shock of the Doomsday Beings, The Doomsdays Imprisoned
At this moment, within the deepest cage of the Chaos Virtual Network in the abyssal world—
Whizzing!!
In an instant, two more uninvited guests arrived in the bottommost cage: the Petrification Doomsday and the Virus Doomsday.
They had roamed freely across the Chaos Void for quite some time, but now, at last, they were captured and sealed.
"Hey, isn't that the Petrification Doomsday and the Virus Doomsday? What a coincidence, you got captured too?"
A voice rang out from another cell. The speaker was none other than Strom Doomsday, who greeted Flood Doomsday and three Doomsday spirit rather cheerfully.
"Captured your face, Strom Doomsday! You useless trash who got caught from the beginning—don't even try comparing yourself to us!"
Petrification Doomsday roared angrily. It was still burning with fury over its recent defeat by Gu Chuan, and now to be greeted by the smug tone of Strom only added fuel to the fire. It couldn't believe Strom still had such a nonchalant demeanor after being imprisoned for so long.
If it weren't for the fact that Doomsdays were bound by origin contracts and incapable of betrayal, Petrification Doomsday would've suspected Strom of having defected.
"What do you mean, Petrification Doomsday? Acting all high and mighty? Just because it took longer to capture you doesn't mean you're stronger than me. You were just luckier."
Strom Doomsday snapped back, clearly offended. "If we hadn't stood up to test the strength of that Primordial Ancient Serpent, none of you would have had a clue what you were dealing with. Instead of being grateful, you dare act all self-righteous?"
"Test the strength? More like you got flattened in one hit. There wasn't even the slightest resistance on your part."
Petrification Doomsday sneered. "And look at you. You've been locked up for so long and haven't even tried to escape. Seems to me you've already been tamed. Admit it—have you betrayed your master?"
"Betrayed? Your sister! You're just spitting nonsense now. Why do you think the Primordial Ancient Serpent didn't just kill you on the spot? You're a waste of space."
Strom Doomsday was fuming.
"Alright, alright. We're all Doomsday beings here. Why are we fighting amongst ourselves? Instead of arguing, we should be figuring out a way to break out of this ghost prison."
Virus Doomsday stepped in to mediate.

"Break out? Don't even bother," came a lazy voice. It was Flood Doomsday. "I've been here for countless epochs. So far, there's no way out. Just accept it and stop wasting energy."
"Heh, I knew it! You two are nothing but cowards!"
Petrification Doomsday shot a glare at both Strom and Flood. "You've been here too long. Now you don't even want to leave. I bet you both betrayed the master. That's how Gu Chuan found us and set a perfect trap!"
"Nonsense! Betrayal? If we could betray, we'd be dead. The origin contract in our consciousness would've torn us apart instantly. How can we betray?"
Strom Doomsday scoffed.
"You just got caught, so you don't understand how terrifying that guy is," Flood Doomsday said darkly. "That Primordial Ancient Serpent isn't some random native of the Chaos Universe. He's a monster. A true pervert. He keeps growing stronger with no bottlenecks. He's already become a Lord of the Universe, and he might've even taken complete control of the Chaos Universe by now."
"Taken the Chaos Universe?! How could a mere native manage that?"
Both Petrification and Virus Doomsday were stunned.
"Believe what you want. But that's the truth. If the master doesn't act soon, every one of us Doomsday beings will be captured. Even the remaining three—those hiding after Grotesque Doomsday—they're just a matter of time."
Flood Doomsday warned grimly.
"Rubbish!" Petrification Doomsday exploded. "The remaining two in the grotesque group are ancient, powerful, and possess unique abilities. They won't be caught so easily!"
"And yet here you are, in the same cage as us."
Flood Doomsday replied coldly. "That guy now controls every inch of the Chaos Universe. Nothing escapes his perception. He sees us like fireflies in the dark. It's inevitable."
"..."
Both Petrification and Virus Doomsday fell silent. As unbelievable as it was, part of them feared it might be true. If the Chaos Universe had truly fallen into Gu Chuan's hands, then they were facing a force practically invincible.
If their master didn't intervene soon, no Doomsday being would stand a chance.
"I'm telling you," Petrification Doomsday gritted its teeth, "those two grotesque Doomsdays are beyond comparison. They're unmatched!"
"Then we'll wait and see," said Flood Doomsday calmly. "But mark my words—this kid has defeated far too many monsters. He's terrifying. If anyone deserves the title Lord of the Universe, it's him."
Lord of the Universe?!
The words sent shivers down both Petrification and Virus Doomsday's spines. That level of power stood equal with their master—someone who commanded tens of millions of Samsara.
If Gu Chuan had really conquered the Chaos Universe, then he had reached a realm even they had never imagined.
"Master won't just stand by and watch him keep getting stronger."
Petrification Doomsday muttered, more to itself than the others.
But deep down, it was no longer certain. If this terrifying enemy kept rising unchecked... even their master might one day fail to stop him.
