Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System-Chapter 502: The Most Incredibly Powerful Tower In the Universe
"Kent, what's going on?" Vexthra asked the moment they appeared, about four miles away from Caprath City.
"Someone is killing people who used to work in Elsa's family."
"What?" Vexthra's gaze turned cold, hearing Kent's response.
She had to hold herself back from releasing any of her aura, but she became very angry upon hearing something like this.
Elsa is her sister, and so the people who once worked for her are like family to her. Hearing that they are being killed made her furious.
But her fury couldn't rival Kent's. As angry as he was, he had to relax and analyse the situation well.
"Relax. We will better understand what is happening when we get to Caprath City." He retrieved the carriage that the tower had taken away when they left Vastport City.
Naturally, the people keeping an eye on them were taken aback when the carriage suddenly vanished. They are all scouring the city to find them while they are thousands of miles away.
Kent and Vexthra entered the carriage and left for Caprath City. A couple of minutes later, they came into view of the city gate, which at first sight made Kent's eyes flash with killing intent.
At the city gate were two bodies, stripped of their clothes, cut in more than a hundred places, and hanging by the neck.
He immediately recognized one of them even from afar.
Back when he arrived in this world, some guards were sent to pick his master up when Lilian was poisoned. One of the people hanging was part of the guards who came to pick him up.
He was one of the people he interacted with when he first came to this world. So seeing his lifeless body hanging, his killing intent exploded.
'I am going to kill every last one of them,' Kent vowed in his heart and turned to Vexthra.
"You have to go back to the tower. I will be using my original face from here onwards, so staying with me will make people notice you. Don't worry, I will be careful."
Vexthra didn't argue because she knew what he said was sound. His current appearance would allow him to enter any city without drawing trouble.
So if she was seen with his Kent form, people would suspect him when he turned back to Jest.
"Just be careful... There are many powerful people hidden in this world." Vexthra kissed him and vanished into the tower.
Kent took a deep sigh, then turned back to his real form. His gaze turned icy as lightning danced around his body.
At the city gate, both those entering and exiting stopped and turned toward the two bodies hanging at the entrance. On their chests, the mark of a claw could be seen.
"How unfortunate to die for someone else's mistake," one of the travelers entering the city said, shaking his head. He knew what was happening because a rumor had already started spreading everywhere.
"It's indeed unfortunate. However, what else can we do?" another replied, shaking their head as they went inside the city.
At the entrance, there were twelve guards, each clad in the same black armor as those at Vastport City. Clearly, the king's guards were everywhere, and from the look of things, they were all working together.
Suddenly, a figure appeared in the air, bathed in lightning. With his arrival, two powerful sword arcs left his sword, cutting the ropes of the two dead bodies.
Kent appeared below and caught their bodies, preventing them from hitting the ground.
This sudden action drew countless eyes as people began gathering. Naturally, the guards who witnessed it surrounded Kent and drew their weapons.
"Identify yourself," one of the guards said, but before he could finish his sentence, a dark shard shot from the ground and pierced his neck, killing him instantly.
This act caused everyone to step back in panic; however, Kent didn't even lift his head. Instead, he retrieved two pieces of cloth and gently covered the bodies before storing them in the tower.
Slowly, he stood up and turned toward the strongest among the King's guards—a peak Sovereign.
"Speak," Kent said in a commanding tone. When the crowd recognized him, more powerful presences began appearing in the surroundings.
The one they are searching for has appeared...
"You're Kent," the leader of the King's guard said, pointing his weapon at Kent. He recognised him because his image is everywhere.
He is quite famous...
"Under the command of the King of the Althea Kingdom, I command you to surre—"
"Die."
Kent's voice cut him off, freezing the leader of the King's guards mid-sentence. Like a candle snuffed out, his face turned pale, and then he dropped dead.
Kent didn't spare him a glance as he turned toward the next guard.
"Speak," he said again in the same commanding tone. But like the leader before him, the guard chose to raise his weapon and even attempted to charge at Kent.
Kent's gaze turned icy. He raised his sword, and in the next instant, a powerful bolt of light shot out, blasting a hole through the man's head.
Then he turned to the next. This time, instead of asking, he went straight for the kill, uttering a chilling line that made everyone present take several steps back.
"Why talk to the living when I can extract what I want from the dead?"
The nine remaining guards couldn't even react as powerful, piercing shards shot up from the ground, killing all of them instantly.
Under everyone's gaze, Kent walked over to the leader he had killed moments ago and used Soul Absorb on him, temporarily absorbing his memories.
The Soul Absorb skill allows him to temporary extract the memories of those he killed less than 5 minutes ago.
So he extracted their memories.
"Huh," he muttered as he sifted through them, finding exactly what he was looking for.
'Gaia, can the tower locate all those who worked for Elsa?' Kent asked after finding what he was after.
⟪Yes, Master.⟫
'Locate all of them, Tower.' Kent gave the command, and three million tower points were deducted. In that instant, the tower located every last one of them.
⟪Tracking complete. 134 located. Alive: 120, Dead: 14⟫
'Transport all of them to the Tower City,' he ordered again. This time, ten million tower points were taken.
Across the four kingdoms, 120 people and 14 corpses suddenly vanished, leaving behind confusion and panic. Some were in the middle of conversations or daily routines, unaware that danger was looming.
Thankfully, their invisible guardian got to them before the hunters could.
⟪Transportation complete.⟫ the tower responded.
'Now, locate and tag everyone involved in these killings. I want their names, locations, ranks, ages, and hobbies.' freewebnσvel.cѳm
Within seconds, Kent was presented with a tall list of everyone he had to eliminate.
Turning to his right, he vanished and reappeared in front of an old man in the crowd, silently observing everything.
Before the man could make a sound, his head rolled to the ground.
Kent moved again, and dozens of heads followed before anyone could comprehend what was happening. They died not knowing how he had located them.
"What is going on?" someone asked, but Kent slashed his sword at the city gate instead of an answer, bringing the entire entrance down in a single stroke.
Suddenly, mocking laughter echoed through the area.
"How amusing... Looks like she didn't call me out for no reason."
Up in the sky, a figure wielding a scythe, clad in dark, tattered robes, appeared, smiling at Kent.
