Re-Awakening: I Ascend with a Legendary class-Chapter 426: It Begins
Triiinnnn
Almond and Lily woke up as the badge rang with an alarm in their minds after a good sleep of a bit over five hours.
Before sleeping, Almond had also revived those who had died. Talia and others felt ashamed but were also more determined than ever to become strong in their second run.
Fortunately, Almond could revive them at the last power level when he had scanned them, so they didn't actually have to start from zero like others.
Thanks to his Spirit Animation power, they essentially resumed from High-Mortal rank point when Almond had last scanned them.
So they were already at the academy, training while Almond and Lily freshened up after waking and arrived at the 48th cosmos after opening the portal via the badge.
The duo arrived in a still space with a whirling cosmic phenomenon not too far, which had a chaotic dimension door there in the middle.
"It seems our opponents are there," Lily said as she looked at a fleet of ships twenty kilometers away.
"Ladies and gentlemen. The main stars are here."
Big D arrived in an orange cat avatar wearing a suit and a hat.
Almond and Lily turned their heads and saw the cat alongside a screen that displayed themselves.
"Are being streamed right now?" Almond asked and blinked.
Suddenly, the screen flooded with comments.
[ Yessss! ]
[ Hell yeah! ]
[ Yes! ]
[ Yes! ]
[ Yieash! ]
"Wait a bit. The chaotic dimension is about to open. Admiral Rudra has cleared the 100th floor with great grit and resolve, winning the treasure chest full of awesome resources."
Almond and Lily could see from the comments that Admiral Rudra has acquired quite a fanbase.
A moment later, their attention shifted as the cosmic phenomenon stirred into motion.
Colorful dust and sparks streamed away and the storm around the chaotic dimension door subsided as it opened.
"There they are! The Regalons who dominated the chaotic dimension and won tons of rewards! Oh never mind, it's the losers coming out first."
Almond and Lily couldn't help but laugh while the chat also exploded with various funny emojis and comments.
Joran and other Immortal Kings of the Treljor clan, as well as members of Big Ten, emerged first.
Colorful lights from the ships also arrived, stationing nearby as Joran and others approached them.
Soon after that, Admiral Rudra and other Regalons began emerging from the portal.
Kexell flew out with a rumble and shot toward Almond and Lily.
"Yo! We had a lot of fun without you two."
"Yeah, we know." Almond chuckled.
"We are about to have more fun now, just watch." Lily cheekily smiled.
"Almond!" frёeωebɳovel.com
"Lily!"
Natali and others rushed at the duo.
"You all had quite an adventure."
"They practically begged us for this," Natalia snickered. "They thought they'd be troubling us, but we shat on them instead."
"Hahaha, I can't get enough of that Joran's face. He is hiding it well, but it's quite easy to see through his eyes."
"Humph, that's what they get for messing with us."
"We lost a few chaps, but it's our victory."
"Hold on, party," Big D arrived in the middle and said. "The game ain't over yet. We are now moving to a big event with risky bets."
Everyone became curious.
The regalons inside didn't know about the two verses hundred yet.
Joran and others seemed to have found that out just now and were looking at Almond and Lily, their expressions peculiar.
"What's it about?" Admiral Rudra curiously asked.
"Well, it's nothing much. Lily and I are just about to fight one hundred Supreme Emperors of Big Ten," Almond said with a grin. "It's going to be fun."
"Fun for us, sad for them," Lily smirked.
[ Damn, Regalon King and Queen got chilly confidence. ]
[ Will they really defeat the hundred of them? ]
[ Quite impossible…I can't imagine that. ]
[ Damn, I want to see it fast! ]
"Well, what's the venue for this event?" Krala asked as he looked around. "Just this? Or should I make something good?"
Almond blinked and smiled. "Well, if you can make something big, then sure."
"Leave it to me," Krala lightly laughed and waved his hand.
A stream of his exotic element spread out like a sparkling stream of the river and began structuring a huge platform with unique temporal frequency.
The platform was 100 kilometers in radius, a perfect circle with a barrier encasing it.
Big D's eyes glinted. "That's quite brilliant."
"Yeah, I adjusted the time feed so that people watching via the stream would be able to see the sequence of combat moves displayed at Hyper Speed 3."
Krala had Time elemental mastery at Ascent-rank, and also had two Intents, both of which had an aspect of Time alongside other stuff, not to mention that one of his three innate talents was fully time-attributed.
The only reason he didn't take the 100th floor before Admiral Rudra was because he didn't want it. Otherwise, he was an apex Supreme Emperor with everything at its peak. It would've been rather easy for him to hit the 100th floor before anyone else, but instead, he kept at Ramonia's pace and made sure she didn't overtake Admiral Rudra.
"Since the stadium is ready, then let's go. My hands are very itchy," Almond said, his eyes glinting as he and Lily teleported, arriving in the middle of the stadium.
"I'll create audience seats for us outside," Krala said.
Big D grinned. "I shall also set up a big screen and stream. This is going to be quite a spectacle for the viewers."
Meanwhile, the hundred Supreme Emperors saw Almond and Lily at the center of the stadium and knew what to do.
"That's quite a platform they set up already."
"It's that Supreme Emperor," Ramonia said calmly. "He is powerful and can hit up to the power level of Omega-2."
"Omega-2 is the same as ten of us," one of the Big Ten's group leaders raised his eyebrows. "But his general power level is weaker."
"We are not fighting him, so he is not our concern. Let's go and meet those two kiddos there. Humph, it's still making me sick that we have to stand equally against two puny Immortal Kings."
"They created a spectacle, we'll enhance it. Let's go."
Almond and Lily saw the hundred powerhouses entering the huge platform.
However, the first thing they did was conjure ten exotic thrones with huge flags behind each of them, each one representing one of the Big Ten clans.
The thrones were at the very edge of the platform, while Almond and Lily were at the center with roughly 99 kilometers of distance between them.
Naturally, such a distance was nothing for the powerhouses of their level.
Both parties could see each other and talk as if they were just several meters away from each other.
But Almond and Lily saw ten people sitting on the throne, and the other ten sitting on a lesser couch beside each throne.
