Reborn As A Ghost: Time To Build My Undead Army!-Chapter 1312: The Vile Demons
-----
Within the Nightmare Demon Castle, one of the Nightmare Demon Lords continued producing Eggs that created more Nightmare Demons, hundreds, now to tens of thousands. They had yet to hatch, these monstrous dark eggs all made for the purpose of filling the world with as many Nightmare Demons as possible.
Fed by Dream Hearts from Humans that had Awakened into Dream Warriors, which were being harvested every day from across the world through the Nightmare Doors where powerful Nightmare Demons appeared to attack these people, targeting exclusively Dream Warriors and nobody else.
As the aberrant "Mother" and Queen of the Nightmare Demons continued her production of eggs neverendingly, the other Nightmare Demon Lords watched her from afar, analyzing the situation and her progress so far, making sure there wasn't anything wrong going on.
"Dream Warriors and their delicious Dream Hearts are what can create enough source of energy for our Mother to be able to create more of our kind," said one of the Nightmare Demon Lords, resembling a bratty child, or the silhouette of one. "They are truly a delicacy I can hardly resist eating myself! Because of this, Father has agreed on at least keeping a few humans for cattle once we conquer the world. So we can keep farming their Dream Hearts, because they're so yummy!"
"Haah~ You're way too gluttonous, kid," a lanky-looking, slender Nightmare Demon laughed, as he was eating Nightmare Cores from Nightmare Monsters. "Normal Nightmare Cores aren't half-bad you know? Don't get too used to luxurious food."
"Shut up! Once we conquer the world I'll eat Dream Cores every day!" smiled the brat. "And I'll enjoy seeing the humans suffer, kekekek!"
"…"
As the two giggled, a third figure remained in silence, incredibly huge in size, surpassing three meters, with large arms, and smaller legs.
"What's wrong with this fat ass? He never talks!" the brat said.
"Hey, don't insult him," said the lanky one. "Between all three of us, he's the strongest, you know?"
"Huh? This bag of grease? Hahaha!" the brat laughed. "No way!"
"…Guh," the "fat ass" finally spoke, making a little sound, as if he bad burped, and then he gaged, vomiting what resembled the dried corpse of a Nightmare Demon. "Phew…"
"H-Huh?!" the bratty demon stepped back in horror. "H-He ate that guy! Wasn't he our assistant?!"
"Yep it happens every day," sighed the lanky demon. "Whatever, we'll get another one. Hey buddy, I hope you don't eat the next one."
"…" it remained in silence without saying anything.
As they talked, a fourth Nightmare Demon stepped forward, her silhouette similar to that of a young girl with big twin tails and colorful clothes, and even a clown-like nose.
"Hmmm… This is sure weird."
She was checking an Accursed Relic, an object composed primarily of Nightmare Materials, which only Nightmare Demons could create, it worked as special magic items to facilitate their lives.
This tablet constantly showed her various statistics about what was happening right now around the world, more or else, about the Nightmare Demons "harvest festival" as they called it, where they finally began hunting and killing all the Dream Warriors of the planet.
"What's wrong, sister?" the lanky demon wondered.
"Hmm, look at this," she showed the tablet at the three Nightmare Demons, although the fat one didn't even look at it.
"What's this? I don't get it, just a bunch of numbers I don't understand!" said the bratty demon. "Can't you stop doing that? Only stupid humans reduce everything to numbers!"
"Maybe you're right but it is undeniable useful to keep track of our progress and everything else," the demon girl said. "I've been noticing lately a great change."
"A great change?" the boy asked.
"Ah! I get it now…" the lanky demon took a while, but ultimately figured it out. "This area of the world, it has stopped hosting Nightmare Doors completely, isn't it? No wait, it's not that it has stopped doing that, it rejects any invasion instantly…"
"Exactly, brother!" said the girl. "These filthy humans are at it again! It seems that this Island, where the Academy is located, there's some sort of powerful barrier that rejects all Nightmare Power. It simply washes it away and sends it outside! So most of the time the Nightmare Doors appeared all the way in the sky and the Nightmare Demons had to return if they didn't want to fall to their demise."
"Wait, I didn't know the weaker ones could die from falling from a high height," laughed the bratty demon.
"I mean, they can't regenerate as well as we Nightmare Demon Lords can," the lanky one said. "Nonetheless, sister, has this happened anywhere else before?"
"Not at all… And I don't remember it happening in the previous loops either," said the girl. "In fact, it's the first time it ever happens, so it probably means…"
"It probably means that whoever is doing it, is a Transmigrator taking place of the people being deleted from existence by the Loop's Side Effect, right?" asked the bratty demon, he actually knew some stuff.
"Yes… Indeed," sighed the clown-nosed demon girl. "But this shouldn't really be possible at all, right? Every time a Transmigrator appears with each Loop, they're always stupid and dumb and don't even know how to do this. So they end up becoming easy prey we eat."
"It got pretty boring after a few dozen times though," the lanky demon yawned. "I'm glad that's about to be over…"

"So at the end the sister of that human that created the loop has gone insane, and now she just wants everything to end and to let her sister rest in peace…. Hah! Such pathetic beings these humans are, can't keep a single thing till the end," laughed the bratty demon.
"Their insecurity and imperfection are what's truly staggering of them, they're so proud of being a failure of creation…" the lanky demon giggled, eating a Dream Heart Core he stole from the smaller demon. "But I suppose we still owe her stupidity and madness a great one, thanks to that… This'll be the last one. And once the seven days passes, this world shall be ours."
