Reborn with Infinity Skill Points, I Enslaved All Universes-Chapter 96 --Intelligence
Chapter 96: Chapter96-Intelligence
Daniel maintained a steady lead—always two steps ahead of Sarko.
Sarko, watching all this from the side, couldn’t hide the shock in his heart.
Because he simply couldn’t comprehend how Daniel was moving forward.
Was he using short-range spatial teleportation over and over again?
Even with all his knowledge and experience, this was the only explanation Sarko could come up with. And it only made him more certain—this human beside him was no ordinary figure, but a true demigod-rank powerhouse, and one who had mastery over the power of space!
That would explain everything.
After all, a demigod-rank being who had insight into the laws of space could very well reach this depth of the abyss.
What remained uncertain, though, was this human’s true combat capability.
By conventional standards, a tier-20 Awakener—equivalent to level 200—would begin to wield a sliver of divine power and be classified as a demigod.
But even within the same rank, the gap between demigods was enormous.
A combat-oriented demigod could wipe the floor with a crafting-type demigod in a matter of seconds.
So although the term "demigod" grouped them into one category, the difference in strength between individuals was as vast as an ocean.
And yet, one crucial detail was often overlooked:
Despite the name, a demigod’s power was nowhere near half that of a true god. On the contrary, there was still a significant gap—at least one full tier of power—between them.
Of course, the power of a true god was something that only existed in myths. Very few had ever seen it with their own eyes.
Within the realm of demigods, however, the possession of a godspark (divine shard) was of utmost importance.
Only those who had acquired a godspark would have the potential to ascend to true godhood. Even if both individuals were demigods, the gap between one who possessed a godspark and one who didn’t was simply outrageous.
Based on Sarko’s judgment, the human standing beside him had almost certainly obtained a godspark— freewebnøvel.coɱ
Otherwise, he couldn’t possibly manipulate spatial energy so effortlessly.
On the other side, Daniel remained silent for a moment before giving a calm response.
"Truth be told, there’s not much that’s novel or exciting in the human world."
"In our race, aside from the Human Emperor, there are the various kings—these are our most powerful figures."
"Beneath them are city lords, academy principals, and other such positions."
"But compared to them, I’m far weaker. I’m neither a king nor a lord."
Daniel was able to maintain his current speed only because he was constantly using [Flashback] to move.
After all, he had already traveled this path before. So with [Flashback], he could instantly reappear at any spot he’d passed through.
Sarko’s face darkened slightly at Daniel’s response, though only for a moment before he composed himself again.
"My friend, with your strength, you must surely be one of the strongest among your people."
"Or perhaps... you’re hiding something from me?"
"I would assume that someone with your abilities should at least be a ruler of a nation!"
Sarko’s tone was polite, but the subtext was clear: he didn’t believe him.
Faced with this skepticism, Daniel sighed helplessly.
"My friend, why would I lie to you? I have nothing to hide."
"The truth is, it’s not that I don’t want to take up a position among my people... it’s that I haven’t yet qualified for one."
Daniel’s words left Sarko’s mind spinning.
But he hadn’t said anything false. As of now, the Human Emperor had not yet arrived at Winterhold Castle, and had not officially appointed Daniel to any position.
Until the emperor bestowed him a title, Daniel remained a man without rank or duty.
Seeing that Sarko still didn’t believe him, Daniel let out another sigh.
"My friend, I truly have no reason to deceive you. My strength is still far from enough. If you don’t believe me, you’re welcome to come to the human world and see for yourself."
"Let me be honest: among humans, any of the kings can easily defeat me. As for me... all I can do is avoid them, or even flee in disgrace—because I’m no match for them at all."
Daniel hadn’t uttered a single lie.
At this moment, he was still only level 60 and hadn’t even completed his Star Upgrade Quest.
Compared to a level-200 king, his strength was virtually negligible.
If it came to a real fight, Daniel was only confident in one thing: he could escape before he was killed.
But this straightforward confession only made Sarko even more alert.
Because even now, Daniel’s displayed power was already terrifying.
Sarko had never met anyone else who could travel through the abyss so freely.
And Daniel’s luck stat was absurdly high—probably among the top echelon of all demigods.
Even using all his best skills, Sarko had still failed to defeat him.
That fact alone confirmed for Sarko that Daniel’s power placed him among the strongest of the demigod rank.
Which led to one heavy realization:
If this human truly wasn’t lying...
Did that mean the human race was overwhelmingly powerful?
Powerful enough that even if the entire abyss banded together, they might still be no match?
Of course, Sarko wasn’t naive. He wouldn’t fully believe Daniel just like that.
Instead, he chose to keep observing. He neither rejected nor accepted Daniel’s statements—instead, he simply noted them for now.
"My friend, forgive me if I’m being rude... but if you’re not even considered strong in your world, then I’m truly curious: how powerful must your kings be?"
"If you don’t mind, I’d love to hear more about them."
Daniel, however, simply shook his head.
"There’s not much to say. I’ve only heard a few rumors."
"Kings are lofty and distant. There’s no way someone like me would ever meet them easily."
"Anyway... haven’t we arrived already?"
Sarko blinked, looked ahead—and realized that they were already close to the portal.
Unknowingly, they had arrived at the entrance.
Still unwilling to give up, Sarko continued to ask questions. But no matter what he asked, Daniel only responded with a faint smile and said nothing.
In truth, Daniel had already extracted most of the information he needed from Sarko—he had practically emptied him out.
He had no intention of exchanging any more intelligence.
On the other hand, Sarko noticed Daniel’s silence and chose to stop sharing details about the abyss as well.
What he didn’t know was that most of what he held in his mind had already been uncovered by Daniel.
After one final round of probing and baiting—
Sarko gloomily realized that Daniel was like a fortress of steel—impenetrable, with no flaws to exploit.
With a sigh, he finally said quietly:
"In that case... let us go in."
