Chapter 137: A morning noon

Noon sunlight streamed through the Haven’s cracked blinds, casting golden streaks across the tangled sheets where Freya, Rhea, and Kael lay.

Rhea, the only one wearing her red lace panties from the night before, stirred first, her stomach growling loudly, a reminder of the burgers left uneaten from last night’s dinner.

Her movement jostled Kael, who slept beside her, his dark hair a mess against the pillow.

He shifted, groaning softly, and the motion tugged Freya’s arm, draped across his chest, waking her with a start.

Her blue eyes blinked open, hazy with sleep, her platinum-cyan hair splayed like a halo.

They stretched, joints popping, and their eyes met in a fleeting, awkward moment.

Memories of last night flooded back—sweat-slick skin, whispered confessions, the heat of their bodies entwined.

Freya’s cheeks flushed, and she bolted upright, clutching the sheet to her chest.

"I need to freshen up," she mumbled, scrambling off the bed and vanishing toward the bathroom, her bare feet slapping the floor.

Kael and Rhea locked eyes, the air thick with unspoken images—Rhea’s tongue teasing his balls while he thrust into Freya doggy-style, her amber eyes glinting with mischief.

Kael cleared his throat, his face warming. "Uh, I gotta freshen up too," he said, swinging his legs off the bed and hightailing it to the other bathroom, leaving Rhea alone.

"Hey!" Rhea called after them, sprawling back on the bed, unashamed, her ruby necklace catching the light.

"I’m hungry, you cowards!" Her voice echoed, laced with playful indignation, but the only response was the distant sound of running water.

Kael stood at the Haven’s kitchen counter, serving breakfast to Freya and Rhea on the dining table, in a tense silence, the sizzle of bacon still lingering in the air.

Freya, now in her usual cyan t-shirt and jeans, her sapphire necklace glinting at her chest, sat at the table, her eyes fixed on her plate of eggs and toast.

Rhea, changed into a black tank top and pants, her ruby necklace dangled against her skin, munched on a piece of bread, her amber eyes darting between her teammates.

The clink of forks and spoons was deafening in the quiet.

Rhea leaned back, swallowing a mouthful of bread, and broke the silence with a smirk.

"What? So we’re just not gonna talk about last night? Pretend we didn’t have the hottest threesome in Haven’s history?"

Freya choked on her eggs, coughing into her napkin, her face turning a vivid shade of pink.

She shot Rhea a glare, her blue eyes wide with embarrassment, the memory of Kael’s cock inside Rhea who bounced on his pelvis and herself on Kael’s face as they faced each other.

She’d never done anything like that—let alone with another woman—and that level of intimacy felt like a spotlight on her soul. Like she took a hike up the pervy ladder.

Kael froze, his glass of water halfway to his lips, his hazel eyes darting to the table.

The dynamics of the Haven had shifted overnight.

Freya and Rhea weren’t just clients anymore—they were something deeper, closer, their bodies and hearts laid bare in a way that changed everything.

He felt a mix of awe and unease, the memory of their shared ecstasy both thrilling and daunting.

"It was... amazing," he said, his voice low, taking a quick sip of water to avoid their gazes.

Rhea grinned, unfazed, her amber eyes sparkling with confidence.

Kael had fucked her, she’d fucked Kael, made her moan, made him groan, felt his hands on her, and it was glorious.

Simple as that.

"Damn right it was," she said, popping a piece of bacon into her mouth, chewing with exaggerated satisfaction. "Freya, you’re acting like we committed a crime. It was fun, and you know it."

Freya’s blush deepened, her fork clattering against her plate.

"I’m not embarrassed," she lied, her voice sharp, but her flushed cheeks betrayed her. She stabbed a piece of egg, avoiding Rhea’s teasing gaze. "It’s just... new, okay?"

Rhea leaned forward, her grin turning wicked. "Oh, come on, Freya. You were all in last night—those moans? Legendary. The next time we do it again, you will get used to it." She winked, twirling her ruby necklace. "Besides, I kept my bra on. Gotta keep some mystery for you, right?"

Freya groaned, burying her face in her hands, but a reluctant smile tugged at her lips.

"You’re impossible," she muttered, peeking through her fingers. "And that bra wasn’t hiding much mystery."

Rhea laughed, tossing a piece of toast at Freya, who caught it mid-air with a quick flick of her wrist, her ice powers frosting the edges.

"Nice catch," Rhea said, smirking. "See? You’re already loosening up."

Kael chuckled, shaking his head, his tension easing.

"Funny thing was the birds were chirping by the time we were done." He took a bite of his bacon, then leaned back, his hazel eyes glinting with amusement. "But Rhea’s right, Freya. Nothing to be shy about. We were... close last night. Closer than I ever thought we’d be."

Freya’s smile softened, her blue eyes meeting his for a moment, a flicker of warmth breaking through her embarrassment. "Yeah," she said quietly, her voice steadier. "It was... good. Really good."

Rhea clapped her hands, her grin triumphant.

"There we go! Now was that so hard?" She snatched another piece of bacon from Kael’s plate, dodging his playful swat.

"You’re welcome for dragging you out of your shell, Freya. Next time, I’m taking the lead—Kael, you’re gonna melt when you see what I’ve got planned."

"I wonder what your secret weapon is?" Kael said as he grabbed his glass of water.

Freya smirked, returning back to her usual demeanor, her blue eyes glinting with mischief. "Oh, I know, Her asshole’s next in line to own you, Kael!"

Kael snorted, nearly choking on his water.

"Hey!..." Rhea looked at Freya as if she had spilled her surprise.

Their banter was cut short when Kael cleared his throat, his expression shifting to something more serious.

"Let’s... put last night aside for now," he said, his voice gentle but firm. "It was intense, heat of the moment. We got carried away, but we’re still a team. And I’ve got something important planned for noon."

Rhea’s eyes lit up, her fork pausing mid-air. "What? Our first mission?" she asked, practically bouncing in her seat, her ruby necklace swinging.

Freya leaned forward, her embarrassment long forgotten, her blue eyes fixed on Kael with quiet intensity.

Kael grinned, letting the suspense hang for a moment, his hazel eyes twinkling with mischief.

"Not quite," he said, drawing out the pause until Rhea groaned dramatically.

"We’re bringing the next client to the Haven."
