Reincarnated As A Lion In Another World-Chapter 205: Treasures In The Pyramid
Chapter 205: Chapter 205: Treasures In The Pyramid
The third floor was like a maze, it seemed as if there was no rhyme or reason in the wall placements at all.
There were doorways with no doors and ceilings that were incredibly high.
After the elevator rose to this level and the doors opened up, Kael found that the elevator was not too far from another doorway.
Kael had only walked out slightly when he finally saw a glimpse of what was resting through the door; it was a faint figure and he couldn’t be sure of what he was seeing.
"Is that...?" Kael asked, flabbergasted. They had just arrived at the third floor and they were already seeing this.
"Let’s confirm," Chloe said as she walked past Kael out of the elevator. Kael followed, perplexed.
’How,’ He asked himself.
Kael and Chloe reached the doorway that was wide enough for five tier 4 lions to pass through side by side.
"Shit," Kael couldn’t help but curse out loud, what he was seeing was too amazing.
Chloe’s eyes also opened wide as it was much more impressive up close than she had thought.
"As expected of someone like Aziza, only he can construct another pocket dimension inside a pocket dimension." She said, and she was not exaggerating.
The floors were white, like the clouds, they reflected the dim light from the ’incredibly high ceiling’. The walls here were made of large metal plates that had been fixed next to and over each other.
This place couldn’t be called a room, it wasn’t, it was more like a private hangar for magic shuttles.
Yes.
This place has two magic shuttles parked inside.
"This is crazy," Kael said.
The two magic shuttles were just as big as Xu Ying’s magic shuttle. Kael remembered measuring Xu Ying’s magic shuttle and estimated it to be about one kilometer long and about five hundred meters wide.
And these two magic shuttles parked here were about the same size each. Although, the design was very different.
One magic shuttle, red and black in color, was parked to the far left, and the other was parked to the right.
The magic shuttle to Kael’s right had an ordinary silvery color and its design was very basic compared to the red and black magic shuttle.
"That one is a hybrid model combat cruiser," Chloe said as they walked into the indoor hangar, "the red and black one, "
She was able to tell quickly because although the aesthetics were different from Xu Ying’s, she had seen enough hybrid model combat-cruisers to point out the key distinctions.
Kael looked closely at that one, he noticed a writing in the lion language etched boldly to the side. The writing was not big, but it was bright and clear enough for him to see from where he was.
He noticed that the characters were similar to the characters he had seen in the elevator under the two-dimensional pyramid diagram.
"Iron Blood Shuttle?" Kael asked.
Chloe, who was looking at the writing, nodded.
"What about that one," Kael said while looking at the silver magic shuttle.
This magic shuttle was much smaller with a sleek and circular body, shaped like an oval disc.
"That’s a pure combat model," Chloe said, however, she now had a frown as she thought of something.
"If this place truly belonged to Lion King Aziza, with the kind of entourage that a lion king will go around with, this shouldn’t be enough." She said,
The two magic shuttles were facing a blue shimmering gate that had a black metal wall behind it. Gat was the entrance and exit into the hanger from outside, Kael guessed.
"Aziza mentioned that he came here with one consort..." Kael said.
"Yeah, but before that, how would he have transported all these materials to build all these things? How did he govern the planet? I mean, he was a Lion King, it’s reasonable that he had come with an arkship," Chloe said confidently. ƒree𝑤ebnσvel.com
"An Arkship?" Kael said, "Isn’t that too much?"
"No," Chloe shook her head, "Do you remember that Isaiah was able to speak the lion language?" Chloe suddenly asked.
"Yes," Kael answered, Chloe’s question made him remember Darius, "Actually, not just Isaiah, his friend, a tiger, had been able to speak the lion language too.
I killed him though, which is why Isaiah used you to take revenge on me,"
"A tiger?" Chloe wondered, "Noel The Great banished them from heaven after leading the lions to wipe out one-third of their population.
They’ve been scattered across many galaxies since then. I didn’t think I would hear of them here,"
"Noel, banished them from heaven?" Kael was surprised. He had a memory of Noel where Noel fought fiercely with a tiger because the tiger had not opened a heavenly gate in time.
That memory was very memorable because it had also led to his first identity-mix problem.
"Yeah, Noel a lot of races really suffered under Noel’s rule, not to mention the races he hunted down until they went extinct.
But that’s not the case, you said that Isaiah’s friend, the tiger, had been able to speak the lion language." Chloe said.
"Yes," Kael said. The two of them stopped walking, nothing bothering to explore the whole hangar, they didn’t have time for that now.
"Normally, it’s not weird for other creatures to be able to speak the lion language. We all originally thought that since this planet had once been the property of a lion king, maybe the lion language had been passed down.
But that may not be the case when looking at past events.
Apart from the signal leak, the portal to this pocket dimension had never been opened. Any ancient knowledge they could have gotten about the lion language should have come from this pocket dimension or somewhere else." Chloe had already concluded.
"Hmm, so?"
"Aziza had to have come with an arkship or something, even if he wasn’t using it, it would have remained parked here.
I’m saying that somewhere on this planet, there should be another entrance to another pocket dimension that’s holding the arkship.
That must be where the tiger and Isaiah learned the lion language from. They must have gained entrance,"
Kael looked at Chloe’s face, noticing that her frown was very disturbing as if this was genuinely bothering her.
"Is there something wrong?" Kael asked.
"Yes, that arkship is just as valuable as this pyramid, besides the heavenly beacon. We can’t let those lesser creatures stain our arkship or spoil anything.
We have to retrieve that arkship when we can," Chloe responded.
Sometimes, Kael forgot that lions in general were fascist, mildly racist, and extremely elitist. And Chloe was no exception, she just didn’t show it often.
"Let’s survive this place first," Kael said before turning around and heading back to the doorway they had entered the hangar through.
Chloe nodded. She followed Kael out of the hangar and the two of them walked down another hallway.
They were primarily searching for the elevator that would take them to the throne level, but they didn’t mind finding other valuable things on the way.
It was a pity that Kael had no way of taking the magic shuttles with him, they weren’t going anywhere anytime soon though.
After some time, they reached another doorway. The doorways in this place were far apart from each other, compared to the doorways on the first level.
This doorway led to another place of magnificence and elegance. Kael was shocked yet again at the architectural prowess of the lions.
In this place, Kael couldn’t see the ceiling, all he saw was darkness. There was a ceiling but he just couldn’t see it.
Everywhere was dark and the ground was that black and shiny marble floor from before.
The only sources of light were the numerous basketball-sized orbs floating all over the place. Each orb emitted multiple colors and was mesmerizing to look at.
Kael walked deeper into the vast room, interested in what these things were.
"This is the library," Chloe said as she looked around too.
"Library?" Kael was astounded. When Chloe mentioned a library, he had expected to see large shelves filled to the brim with books.
He had imagined those books to be the same as the books he had on Earth.
’The lions never had fingers unless they were in their humanoid forms, it’s normal that they never invented books in the first place,’ Kael thought.
The lion had followed another path when it came to the invention of items to store their knowledge.
"What are these?" Kael asked as he studied one of the floating orbs in front of him. He brought his head closer, casting a warm glow on his golden-furred face.
"Info orbs, it’s what we use to store knowledge," Chloe said with a smile. Kael did not have any contact with the main lion civilization and did not know these things. She felt like a teacher showing a child just how big the world was.
[Fundamentals Of Energy Conversion] The title of the info orb flowed into Kael’s mind. He was amazed, these info orbs reminded him of that web ball Natalia had once stored information to give him.
The spiders were already on the same path of magic technology advancement.
Kael looked at another orb, [Principles Of Vegetation Power: How To Grow A Good Tree]
He checked another one, [Step By Step Guide To Building A Simple Mining Model Magic Shuttle: For Non-Maguses]
Kael was engrossed in checking out these info orbs but Chloe’s body had gone stiff in fright after she saw some familiar figures far away from them entering the library from another entrance.
"...Less than a hundred slave rats remain, those squids and octopus are quite fierce..." Xu Ying was saying but stopped mid-sentence as he spotted a distant golden lion as soon as he entered the library.
