"Just a nightmare." Leng Pan dismisses the dream as a simple nightmare because she doesn’t want Lu Zhen to worry and she also doesn’t want to accept what she had seen in the dream as a reality anywhere.

Taking a deep breath and breathing in Lu Zhen’s scent, she felt relaxed and secure. His arms and unique scent always gave a sense of security that nothing else could.

Lu Zhen smiled at her response. He wasn’t actually planning on showering with her. He was fully aware of his state of self-control when he was around her, especially when she was naked.

If he really followed her into the bathroom, they might spend another hour or more there making love and he was starting to feel like a rabbit. That breed of animals seemed to always be doing something to reproduce.

However, if they could be like rabbits, he wouldn’t complain either. But he didn’t want to tire her out so much.

Just now, he made that suggestion just to pull her mind out of her disturbed thoughts. He didn’t know what she had dreamed about, but he was sure it wasn’t something good. Apart from being all sweaty probably because she was afraid or anxious in her dream, he could tell that she was also trembling a little even though she tried to hide it.

Whatever she had dreamed of didn’t seem as simple as a nightmare. But he didn’t want her to relieve it, so he chose not to probe and instead tried to distract her.

Leng Pan took a quick bath and came back out to find her husband fully dressed and waiting for her. Even after he stopped wearing those formal suits and started to dress more casually and comfortably, he still had that dignified air of a ruler.
