Rising up from a Nobleman to Intergalactic Warlord!!-Chapter 192
---Victor POV, Thirty Minutes Later---
Carrying out their orders with ruthless efficiency, the Drukhari massacred everyone within Northwatch Keep. Experiencing only a few minor setbacks due to being unaccustomed to fighting magical opponents, they managed to eliminate their targets within twenty minutes. Scouring the structure for any intelligence or stragglers, Malys signaled me once they were certain no one remained.
“There is no denying it, you are all certainly worthy of our blessings.”, Mehrunes Dagon praised them as the Drukhari entered Castle Volkihar. “Would you not agree, Bal?”
“Absolutely, haha.”, Molag Bal cackled, grinning ear to ear. “Listening to the agonizing screams of your victims was music to my ears. You are more than worthy enough to receive my boon.”
Commanding the Drukhari to kneel before them, the two Daedric Princes bestowed each of them with a minor blessing. Claiming their souls in exchange for the power boost, Slaanesh would no longer be able to whittle away at their souls anymore. Feeling a burst of newfound strength flow into their bodies, they profusely thanked them for their gift.
“If you truly want to demonstrate your gratitude, use our boons to crush your victims.”, Molag Bal commented as Mehrunes Dagon nodded his head in agreement, “That is all we ask of our followers.”
“Hehe, we are more than happy to do so. Inflicting misery and suffering upon others is the Drukhari way of life.”, Hesperax assured them, ‘I feel sorry for those fools who elected to go with the Ynnari instead of coming with us. They missed out on a truly wonderful gift.’
“If you ever happen to need someone killed, do not hesitate to ask us.”, Malys said, clenching her fists tightly, ‘Damn it, if only I had this power back when Vect wasn’t a skid mark. As I am now, I am certain I could knock that arrogant smile off his face.’
Satisfied that they had completed everything they had come to Nirn to do, most of the Daedric Princes bid us farewell and returned to the Warp. Hanging back to speak with me, Azura, Boethiah, Meridia, Nocturnal, and Vaermina inquired if I had an answer to their earlier proposals.
“I will not lie; I am certainly interested in making you my wives.”, I admitted, being forthright with them. “That said, I hardly know you lovely ladies. How about traveling with us for a bit before making a permanent decision?”
“Fair enough, we did put you on the spot suddenly after all.”, Azura acknowledged, walking up to me and placing a hand on my chest. “I know it might seem sudden, but the five of us have had an eye on you since we first met. Our very first meeting, the other Daedric Princes made every attempt to intimidate you, yet your mental fortitude and willpower never falter. When you have faced our mortal foes, you have risen to the occasion and fought like no other. Men like you are in short supply; that is why we will go to any length to make you our partner."
“We will even do things that those snobby goddesses would turn their noses at, if you know what I mean.”, Vaermina said with a flirtatious wink, “As the Daedric Prince of Dreams and Nightmares, I know countless ways to reward you for all your hard work. After all, those sorts of activities are always on someone’s mind on Nirn.”
Glancing over at an annoyed Isha and Lileath, the five of them floated up to my eye level and kissed me several times. Asking me to come visit them in the Warp sometime, they expressed their desire to reward me for all the work I had done thus far. Opening my mouth to respond, Isha and Lileath’s self-control ran out before I could say anything. Rushing at them, hurling curse words that would make a sailor blush, Azura and the others teleported away with gleeful laughter.
“Jeez… You do realize they are doing that to get a rise out of you, right?”, I chuckled as their presence on Nirn disappeared. “If you do not react to their provocations, they will most likely stop it.”
“That is easy for you to say. You are not the one whose chosen partner is being actively taken away from them.”, Lileath remarked, puffing her cheeks in anger, “Do you really want them to join your family? I think you are better off without them.”
“Though we are unsure what sort of bedroom activities you enjoy, the two of us are more than willing to try anything once.”, Isha said, trying not to sound desperate.
Dropping to one knee so I could properly look into their eyes, I swore to them that there was no need for them to worry. Having already agreed to see where things go between us, there was no way I would ever consider abandoning them for other women. If things continued the way they were now, the two of them would be stuck with me for the rest of our days. Becoming very bashful at my words, they fidgeted around nervously as they meekly requested a kiss on the lips from me, like Azura and company had done to me. Giving in to their request, I kissed them and my wives in the interest of fairness.
“Odin preserve us, you are going to make me regurgitate my breakfast if you keep these disgusting activities up. There is a time and place for this, and it will never be in front of me!”, Loki scoffed as Cegorach began pretending to vomit.
“I never thought I would have to say this, but all of you, get a fucking room.”, Valerica spat, irritated by our lovey-dovey display. “If you are done here, go on and get going.”
“Hang on, there are a few last things I want to address first before we leave.”, I remarked, rising to my feet. “The technology I built using your joint research with Serana worked almost perfectly. There are a few tweaks I need to make on my end, but your research was flawless.”
“Did you expect anything less from my daughter and me?”, Valerica remarked, brimming with excitement, “Hand the goods over; I want to see for myself the fruits of our labor!”
Retrieving the items from my inventory, I gingerly handed over the artificial soul gems and captured Daemons. Giggling with unbridled joy as she received new research materials, she took a moment to closely examine a few gemstones to check their clarity and quality.
“Ah, I can see what you meant by tweaking things on your end. These gemstones are of greater quality when they should be black.”, Valerica commented, handing the materials to one of her trusted aides, “Take these to my lab and set them on my desk. If you damage one of them, I will kill you!”
(AN: For those who do not know, soul gems are ranked petty, lesser, common, greater, grand, and black. The Daedric item that Victor received from Azura, Azura’s Star, is outside that grading scale.)
Vigorously nodding their head, the poor vampire slowly shuffled across the room to ensure the material’s safety. Turning to the Drukhari next, it was time to give them their official marching orders.
“For the foreseeable future, you will be helping Valerica procure research materials that her staff are unable to. During your downtime, there are a few other objectives that I would like you to complete…”, I said, projecting a map of Tamriel in front of them, “First and foremost, I want you to infiltrate the Aldmeri Dominion, eliminate their leadership, and install a puppet regime that is under our complete control. Second, assist General Tullius and the Imperial Legion with quelling the Stormcloak Rebellion by assassinating Ulfric Stormcloak and eliminating their leadership structure. Lastly, bring the Dark Brotherhood and Thieves Guild under our control by any means necessary.”
“Of course, we will see that your orders are carried out.”, Hesperax acknowledged, quivering with excitement. ‘This is going to be so much fun. I have always wanted to attempt a hostile takeover but never found the right opportunity to try.'
Handing Hesperax and Malys everything I had on their targets, I instructed them to collect anything else they would need from the field. Providing each person with a pouch of ten thousand gold coins, courtesy of the Mass Fabricator, they were free to use the money however they wished over the course of their mission. Making it clear that uninvolved bystanders were to be left alone, all bandits, brigands, or other criminals they came across could be dealt with as they saw fit.

“Not to seem ungrateful or anything, but is there any chance I might convince you to let me continue traveling with you for a bit longer?”, Malys questioned, “While I enjoy the thrill of fighting in a new environment with limited resources, I also enjoy using my regular equipment to fight.”
“Hmm, would you be open to setting up a rotation with Hesperax? I can tell she would like the same thing too.”, I remarked, noticing the twinkle in her eye. “We will alternate who leads the Drukhari forces on Nirn and who travels with us every two weeks. To start with, Hesperax will handle things here while you continue traveling with us.”
“That works for me.”, Hesperax said, nodding her head enthusiastically, ‘That makes me a pseudo-Archon; I am not going to complain about that, hehe!’
With the matter settled, we said our goodbyes to everyone and teleported back aboard the Endless Horizons.
