She Asks for a Divorce Again-Chapter 179 - Remarry Me
Chapter 179: Chapter 179: Remarry Me
Chapter 179: Chapter 179: Remarry Me
“…” Shen Heyu turned her head to avoid his kiss and said in a serious tone, “Pei Yan, has Lu Yi’s family gotten the heart they need for the surgery? Have you returned?”
“Of course not,” Pei Yansi responded.
She turned her head to look at him. “Are you lying to me? Did you break your promise?”
Pei Yansi shamelessly smiled and sat down beside her. He reached out to caress her cheek, feigning tenderness, and said, “Didn’t I say? Once you agree to remarry me, I will leave those people alone.”
“For their sake, I advise you to obediently comply sooner rather than later. He who knows the times is a wise man. You should know that no matter what you try, it’s impossible to leave my side. Since you can’t resist, why not enjoy it?”
“In your presence, I could never enjoy anything. Let someone else who enjoys it, enjoy it!”
Their voices were very soft; Yuexue couldn’t hear them from where she was sitting but could only see them seemingly whispering affectionately to each other.
Shen Heyu clearly saw how Pei Yansi’s face turned grim as soon as she spoke.
His icy gaze landed on her, and his thin lips curled into a dangerous smile as he coldly examined her face and said, “Oh, so that’s why you gave me away to someone else.”
“Very clever of you.”
Shen Heyu’s heart raced as she saw his expression and smile, making her feel extremely uncomfortable, like disaster was looming.
He lowered his gaze and commanded non-negotiably, “You have three minutes, get up and eat!”
Then they would go back with him, she would obediently get the marriage certificate, remarry, and be by his side forever.
After a while, Shen Heyu looked at him, daring not to disobey and finally got up from the bed.
She tidied up everything, and Zhao Jin brought in lunch from outside. The three of them gathered around the dining table, presenting a picture of warmth.
But only Shen Heyu knew the trickery involved and how unwilling she was.
Pei Yansi of course knew what she was thinking. She had no appetite and didn’t eat much, so he often put down his chopsticks to warn her with his eyes.
She had no choice but to eat more.
After lunch, Pei Yansi didn’t want to delay at all. He ordered Zhao Jin to drive them quickly back.
The high-speed drive only took two hours to arrive at their destination.
Once there, Shen Heyu wanted to go to the hospital immediately.
She requested to be taken to the hospital.
Zhao Jin couldn’t defy her directly, but subconsciously slowed the car down, wanting to hear what Pei Yansi had to say.
Pei Yansi watched Shen Heyu silently, his gaze as cold as frost, and with a smirk while holding their sleeping daughter in his arms, he said to her, “You never change, always only caring about Lu Yi.”
Shen Heyu toughened up.
She couldn’t imagine if she caused a delay in Mr. Lu’s optimal surgery time and something happened, how would she face Lu Yunlan and the others after?
She stubbornly told him, “If this causes a rift between me and Yun Lan, I will never forgive you. I’ve already lost Shen Fanshuang, I don’t want to lose her as well.”
This had nothing to do with Lu Yi at all.
Yet Pei Yansi refused to back down. He took out his phone, pulled up a contact, the person who was managing the heart needed by Lu Yi’s family.
He told Shen Heyu, “Come with me to get the marriage certificate. Once we have it, I can arrange the surgery for Lu Yi’s family with just one phone call.”
Shen Heyu frowned tightly.
She looked at her daughter sleeping in his arms from the long drive and felt a deep sense of powerlessness inside.
“Do you really want to go this far?” she asked.
“I told you, you forced my hand,” he replied.
Shen Heyu stayed silent, the deadlock lasting quite a while as Zhao Jin even slowed the car further, causing drivers behind them to continuously honk their horns impatiently.
Pei Yansi glanced at Zhao Jin through the rearview mirror and said, “Go back to the old house.”
He finally gave a definitive answer, Zhao Jin nodded repeatedly and drove there.
Hearing this, Shen Heyu fully understood that he was indeed determined to take this step.
Unless she agreed, he would not allow Lu Yunlan’s father to undergo the surgery.
While she hesitated, Lu Yunlan called.
She quickly answered the call.
Lu Yunlan cried over the phone, “Heyu, I really have no other choice, can you please talk to Pei Yansi? My dad is almost gone, the doctor said if he doesn’t undergo surgery soon, he will soon…”
She spoke haltingly, crying intermittently, it took her a long while to finally finish her sentence.
Even though she couldn’t bring herself to say the last words, Shen Heyu filled in the blanks in her mind, feeling a chill in her heart. She looked up to meet Pei Yansi’s cold gaze.
He even seemed leisurely; if not for holding his daughter, he might have already stretched out his legs in a carefree manner, eagerly waiting for her to approach him.
Shen Heyu had no other options.
She struggled to say to Lu Yunlan, “Okay, I will think of a way.”
Lu Yunlan hung up first.
Shen Heyu’s hands trembled as she clutched her phone, and with a trembling voice, she looked at Pei Yansi and said, “Let’s remarry.”
Right after she said those words, she visibly saw him smile.
A smile of assured victory; he knew that she would definitely compromise to his advantage.
He immediately made a phone call.
Shen Heyu couldn’t hear what was said on the other end, only heard Pei Yansi say, “Return the heart donor.”
“Yes, arrange for the best specialists to carry out the surgery.”
“Also, let Lu Yi take over the Lu Family’s company, any needs can be addressed to the Pei Family.”
“Okay.”

After hanging up, Pei Yansi twirled the phone in his hand, looked at Shen Heyu with a smile, and said, “Let’s go get the marriage certificate.”
Shen Heyu sighed deeply, her expression full of reluctance.
Zhao Jin drove the car back to the old house. Pei Yansi put his daughter in her room and then, picking up the divorce certificate he once had with Shen Heyu, led her again to the civil affairs office.
In the car, Shen Heyu sat far away from him, as if distancing herself could keep him at bay.
Pei Yansi, discontented with what he saw, stretched out his hand and pulled her into his embrace. He dominantly leaned in to kiss her, his lips against hers muttering unclearly, “Heyu, you’re mine now.”
Shen Heyu’s eyes reddened, trembling in his embrace.
She felt the car moving, and as he kissed her, the change in his body; it took her a while to say, “Why? You clearly don’t love me…”
Just because of Shen Fanshuang’s hatred, after so many years, was he still not willing to let her go?
Pei Yansi smiled faintly, licking her earlobe, “Who said I don’t love you?”
He didn’t care whether she was willing or not. Between the two of them, it was only about what he liked, what he wanted.
He wanted her by his side, and she was doomed never to escape.
Pei Yansi held her tightly, a feeling completely different from holding his daughter, whispering in her ear, “I will make up for everything from the past.”
Shen Heyu frowned tightly.
She silently endured everything he brought along, without a word. Pei Yansi didn’t care; he only cared about what he could physically possess, like the marriage certificate she was about to give him upon remarriage.
As long as she remarried, regardless of her attitude towards him, he was happy.
Upon reaching the civil affairs office, Shen Heyu reluctantly got out of the car, even starting to survey the surroundings, contemplating the possibility of escaping from there.
She saw Pei Yansi standing by the car door, waiting for her.
He stared at her continuously, as if he had read her mind, and smirked, “At such a time, are you still thinking of escaping?”
Shen Heyu pursed her lips, unconsciously looking down.
Pei Yansi reached out, directly scooped her up from the car, and strode into the civil affairs office.
He was a bit angry; they had come all the way here, yet she still thought about running.
Shen Heyu saw the civil affairs office getting closer and closer, her heart shattered.
Pei Yansi looked down, seeing her almost completely wrinkled, reluctant face, couldn’t help but frown, asking, “Do you hate me that much?”
He carried her inside, ignoring the staff, and directly took her to the inner room.
Someone came forward, ready to take their photo.
Shen Heyu resisted again. Pei Yansi’s gaze turned cold, he forcefully pressed her into his arms, “Behave!”
