Since Lily and 010 were heading toward the future, it wasn't strange for them to appear in the present, which had become their future, as they had come from the past.

Sparkle took advantage of that opening to teleport onto the colossal sun. Upon hearing Lily's recount, the massive cluster of tentacles split into hundreds and thousands of tentacles.

The tentacles squirmed and writhed as they dug into Lily's enormous form.

The hazy purple light from the Core disappeared, and the dried, cracked seabed vanished as well. A burst of radiant sunlight erupted in all directions from Lily, but the sunlight made contact with nothing.

Sparkle and Lily immediately understood what was going on.

010's power was still in action, and it brought the two of them to the future after the end of the world.
