SIGNING IN: BEING SHOWERED BY HEAVENLY BLESSINGS FOR FIVE YEARS-Chapter 601 - 599: FUTURE PLANS 2
Chapter 601: Chapter 599: FUTURE PLANS 2
[Ding! Do you want to sign in?]
’Sign in!’ she responded as she applied some balm on her lips.
[You have been rewarded with 100k packets of sanitary pads.]
’What the heck is this?’ she asked dumbfoundedly, her eyes wide open, as she couldn’t believe this kind of gift.
She had received strange gifts before, but this kind was something else.
However, that lasted for a moment as she gathered her wits shortly.
There was nothing wrong with the reward. It was actually very good, now that she thinks about it.
Sanitary pads were simply too good and serves a lot of purpose. In fact, now that she got them, it even opened a new path for her charitable acts.
All females needed sanitary pads unless they were menopausal. As long as they aren’t, then the pads were necessary.
Even herself, she was still at the age of using them. These pads were too many for her to use by herself. However, she could donate them to several places.
The foundation should be dealing with something like this. The first time her foundation donated something, pads were part of the combo. She didn’t know what they were donating right now, but it should be good.
Donating pads with her name and perhaps adding the JEWELS would start as a good charity project.
With that in mind, she inwardly said, ’thank you,’ grateful for this reward, which opened her eyes once again.
With such a reward, Diamond’s happiness levels were boosted. She couldn’t wait to see where this project was going to lead. The sooner she starts it, the sooner she would help several girls out there with their sanitary health.
Anyway, there wasn’t much for her to do on this day except to meet with Nancy and Kiara in the morning. At lunch, she was going to meet with Dewei, and after that, concoct pills.
Yesterday, she gave Garnet the list of the ingredients she needed. They should be delivered today, if all goes well.
She picked her things and headed downstairs, where she bid Auntie Janet goodbye before leaving the villa.
On this day, her parents were sleeping in. they were tired. And Ruby didn’t return this weekend and was busy with her assignments.
Diamond left the complex driving the Cagda. Two hours later, the car was parked in front of a building where the law firm was.
That was the meeting place they have agreed on.
When she alighted from the car, she spotted Kiara and Nancy, who seemed to be waiting for her.
She waved at them with a smile; her face covered with a mask. Her popularity was becoming a bit too much. Yesterday, while scrolling through SNS, she found herself trending again and a lot of people had followed her again.
Apparently, despite being lowkey, at least that’s how she saw herself yesterday, there were several people who spotted her, took photos and short videos. Those were posted online and ended up trending.
Of course, the twins gained some popularity as well. Thankfully, they weren’t affected negatively. They were rather very excited and happy about the exposure.
When doing serious business, attracting too much attention wasn’t what she had in mind, although she wouldn’t reject it as well.
Diamond walked speedily towards the two women who were holding her empire with everything that they have.
"Welcome, Miss!" the two greeted her warmly as soon as she arrived.
Diamond beamed at them as she responded, "thank you. Let’s go inside." She urged as she sensed a few gazes on her.
The two nodded and led her inside the building.
When she entered the building, she had been to a few times. Diamond looked around and found several staff members stealing peeks and whispering excitedly to each other.
"I can’t believe she is here and I can’t even take a pic!"
"Haha, imagine how others would feel if they know that we work for her."
"It’s the greatest decision I made to be here. I will live and die here!"
There was so much chattering, however, the majority sounded good. At least no one dared to speak ill of her from her hearing range.
Diamond was brought to the main conference room and all the shutters were closed, giving the three of them the much-needed privacy.
Since time wasn’t on Diamond’s side, she didn’t have much luxury to listen to anything unrelated to the serious business. So, once they were settled, she told them directly to report what should be reported and exclude what was unnecessary.
Thankfully, they didn’t seem to have any funny things to report, which made life easier for her.
" ... the orphanage’s renovations ended yesterday. All the furniture, playgrounds and other facilities are ready. What remains now is to find the right people to live there. And I was hoping that you can help me with that. Which age groups do you expect to be living there and so forth!" Kiara reported, as several images were shown on the projected screen.
Diamond’s eyes were glued to the screen, amazed by how the orphanage had turned out after the renovations. freёweɓnovel.com
The orphanage was designed in a dorm structure for the sleeping quarters.
Each room could house twelve people, with each room having six bunk beds and six fitted cabinets for storing belongings. Each person would have a bed and a portion of the cabinet.
There were six such rooms, and that meant that seventy-two kids could be accommodated there. The orphanage also has a large kitchen and dining room. With so many people living there, it was a must to enlarge these two rooms.
There were four additional smaller rooms, meant for the administrators and staff working at the orphanage.
A pantry to store food and the likes, several toilets and bathrooms, divided into two, for males and females. There were a few inside the building, and the rest were outside.
There was a large playground outside, and a parking space enough to house several cars.
Looking at the orphanage, Diamond planned to buy a bus to facilitate easy transportation of the kids to and from school in the future.
Although the orphanage was small, she believed that it would be a safe haven for many kids in the future. It wasn’t like the majority of the kids would remain there forever. They might find suitable families to adopt them. Even if they don’t, she could still raise them until they become adults.
She owned a lot of companies, hiring an additional person wouldn’t make her bleed.
However, the question now remained, which age group should be brought to the orphanage?
She couldn’t help but ponder over that question for a moment.
