"The seventh Epoch?"

Corey mumbled with a curious and pondering glint in his eyes as he looked down. He looked at Divine and asked,

"What do you know about these... Epochs? What are they? And what do they signify?"

Divine shrugged nonchalantly, "I don't know and to be honest, I don't really care."

Corey raised his brows in surprise, "Why? For somebody like you who has eyes and ears in the Underworld and also knows so much, I expected you to be curious towards the history of our world."

Divine scratched the side of his head with a slightly strained smile, "Well, to be honest... because of what I know, the history of New Earth does not really pique my interest."

"It's just a newly blessed world and in the wider universe, there are more special, unique, and extremely valuable worlds than New Earth."

"Besides, New Earth is not the last Blessed World that's going to appear in the Universe. More Blessed Worlds are going to appear and New Earth is going to be forgotten."

Divine paused, and then he folded his arms.

"Also, although I was born on New Earth, I've lived most of my life in the homeworld of my family."

Corey furrowed his brows with a confused expression on his face, and he could not help but ask.

"So, do you plan on joining New Earth to fight against the Outsiders or you plan on fighting against New Earth with the Outsiders?"

Divine shook his head and sighed with a wry smile on his lips, "That's a tricky question, but for some reason I don't really understand. Our family have to fight for Earth because of our roots that's connected to Earth."

"So yeah, my family and I are on Earth's side."

Divine smiled but Corey had a neutral expression after hearing Divine's words.

Although he trusted Divine to a certain degree, the same could not be said for his family.

He had no idea about the dynamics of the House of Divine, but he had a feeling that Divine's authority in his family was not absolute.

Even if he had no desire to harm New Earth, the same could not be said for his family.

Greed and envy could make men do foolish things.

"Alright." Corey leaned back into his chair without saying anything else, and Divine nodded.

"If you want to know more about the history of New Earth and the epochs, I think I saw a book on the history of New Earth in the Library of the Central Area of the City of Sin."

"I once saw something that was related to the history of New Earth in there, but I didn't bother getting the book because I was not interested in it and the price was not worth it in my eyes."

"Hmm." A calculating glint flashed in Corey's eyes for a few seconds, and then he nodded slightly.

"Thanks."

Divine shrugged nonchalantly, and then a solemn expression appeared on his face as he gazed at Corey.

"I think we should talk about our next course of action."

Corey nodded, "You're right. What do you have in mind?"

Divine leaned into his chair and sighed, "We have to leave the Underworld before it's time for the Outsiders to purchase the Underworld residents."

Corey raised his brows with a slightly surprised expression, "So soon? That means we have to leave in less than two weeks?"

Divine nodded, "That's true. This period is used by the Outsiders to observe the behavior, character, and attitudes of the Underworld residents they want to buy."

"We have to leave before then because of you."

Corey could perceive a tinge of frustration in Divine's tone, and although he knew why, he said nothing in response.

It wasn't his fault he was extremely talented.

Besides, if not for the Shattered Dimension which had several Infinity Crystals, he wouldn't have exposed so much of himself but would have been low-key.

"There's no way I'll be able to outbid organizations like the Empires and even the Kingdoms. There are also other organizations who are filthy rich, and if I try to outbid them to buy you, I would have to sell 90% or 100% of everything my family owns."

"Also, even if I outbid all of them, the chances of us making it out of the Underworld and to my family's abode in one piece is extremely low."

"Most forces would not want us to acquire a demonically talented individual like you because you would drastically increase the power of our house."

"True." Corey interrupted Divine and nodded with an indifferent expression.

Divine clicked his tongue in annoyance, and then he continued speaking.

"Well, because of you, we cannot wait for two weeks. We need to leave as quickly as possible."

Corey remained quiet for some seconds with numerous thoughts and calculations flashing in his mind, and then he recalled something crucial.

"What about the traitor amongst us? Do you know who it might be? Or what do you plan on doing?"

A tinge of visible pain flashed in Divine's eyes, and he exhaled deeply.

"I have a plan to figure out the traitor, and I'll execute it before we leave."

Corey nodded but didn't ask about the plan. If Divine wanted to tell him, he would have and there was no need for him to know since he was definitely not the traitor.

"Alright, but what's your plan for us to leave the Underworld?"

Divine's expression changed and a cunning light flashed in his eyes and he leaned closer to Corey.

"Before we're able to leave the Underworld, we need to do something."

"What? Corey furrowed his brows.

"Another robbery."

Corey's left eye twitched, and he had the urge to wipe off the grin on Divine's face.

"You're joking right?"

Divine shook his head with a bright smile, "Nope."

Corey remained silent for some seconds and then he asked with a neutral tone.

"Who are we robbing this time around."

"The Lord of the Central Area."

This time around, Corey's lips twitched repeatedly as he restrained himself from smacking the shit out of Divine.

"Seems you've forgotten that the reason why you were put in prison and became extremely broke is because of the Lord of the Central Area."

"Wrong." Divine shook his head and finger in front of Divine while smiling.

"The reason why I was imprisoned and broke is because somebody betrayed me. If not because of that, I would never have been caught."

Corey's lips twitched when he saw Divine's excited expression, "You're insane."

"I know." Divine smiled brightly, and then he stood.

"We'll be robbing his mansion, and I'll tell you when. We'll also have a group meeting before the robbery takes place."

Corey shook his head and sighed, and Divine walked out of the room with a laugh.

The instant the door to his room was shut, Corey's expression slowly changed.
