Single Wish: Rise Of The Omniscient Paragon-Chapter 713 - 712: The Structure of The Underworld
"Stop whining like a little bitch and tell me what our next plan is."
The instant Corey said these words, Divine was taken aback and he looked at Corey with wide eyes.
His mouth opened and he tried to speak, to defend himself or say something in response to Corey's words and expression. However, all he did at the end of the day was chuckle with a light smile.
"You're right, brother. I should not be whining like a bitch. We're on a timer after all and our lives are on the line."
Corey nodded, and then he shifted his gaze back at Rosa.
"So, what's the plan? I'm sure you have one since you killed Melissa without thinking twice."
Divine released a soft sigh, and then he looked at the sky.
"We'll have to leave the Underworld as quickly as possible. I wanted to obtain some other items before we left the Underworld, but..."
Divine looked around and shook his head with a sad smile. Corey said nothing but focused on healing Rosa as quickly and optimally as possible.
A thought appeared in his mind, and then Corey asked.
"So, I'm guessing we won't need the map of the Underworld anymore right?"
Divine raised his brows in slight surprise, "Why do you say so?"
"Because your previous plan is no longer possible."
Divine's brows raised the more, and he could not help but ask, "And how do you know my previous plan? I don't remember telling you about my plan at all."
Without looking at Divine, Corey began to speak.
"I have the map of the Underworld, and I've studied it for a very long time to the point where I can somewhat guess your plans."
Corey paused, and then his mind went to the map of the Underworld.
The first time he saw the map of the Underworld which he recorded from Calista's office, he had not expected much, but he was proven wrong.
Despite being on a piece of paper, Corey realized that there was more to the map than it met the eye.
A normal Tier 3 or maybe even Divine might have struggled to understand the map, but with his extremely powerful and unique which possessed a lot of abilities, he was able to decipher the map in a relatively short amount of time.
And when he did, he was astounded by what he deciphered.
The Underworld was comprised of three main areas- The City of Sin, The Amphitheatre, and The Meal Room.
To move from any of these three areas to another area, one needed to use the Underworld Elevator.
Because of how elevators are normally used in New Earth, Corey thought that these three areas were just parts of an entire structure that were vertically placed beside one another.
He thought that the Underworld Elevator had been moving from up to down and from down to up whenever it was being used.
He was not the only one to have such thoughts, and every single one of them were wrong... Extremely wrong.
After deciphering the map of the Underworld, Corey realized that the Underworld's entire structure was like that of a triangle.
The City of Sin, The Amphitheatre, and The Meal Room were not together at all, but were separate structures.
Each of these three main areas of the Underworld had the structure of a cube, and these three cubes were connected to one another by the Underworld Elevator, making the entire structure of the Underworld to be that of a triangle.
It was an extremely ingenious design that awed Corey, and when Corey thought that this was all of the design of the Underworld. He noticed something he had almost ignored in the map.
There was another cube, and this cube was at the center of the triangle.
This central cube was connected had elevator pathways that were connected to the elevator pathways of the other three cubes.
Although he was not certain, Corey guessed that the central cube was most likely where the Manager of the Underworld resided or it was the core of the Underworld. frёewebnoѵel.ƈo๓
With all of these information and also the layout of the City of Sin, The Amphitheatre, and The Meal Room in his grasp, Corey could more or less guess what Divine's plan would be.
"In the entire Underworld, there are four exits. One in the City of Sin, another in the Amphitheatre, another in the Meal Room, and the last which is in the control room or the most important area of the Underworld."
"Leaving our the central area of the Underworld since we cannot enter that place as prisoners of the Underworld, that leaves three exits which we can utilize."
"The exit of the City of Sin is the exit with the most defenses, traps, and the most complex layout. It's underground in the central hub of the Central Area of the City of Sin... Reaching that exit is basically suicide even for me."
"The exit with the second highest difficulty is that of the Amphitheatre. It's basically at the center of the arena, and in my opinion, using that exit is even more dangerous because of how open it is and the amount of digging one would have to do in that arena filled with a lot of sand."
"These two exits are the most difficult to use because they always have a lot of Underworld residents in them."
"The last exit in the Meal Room is the exit with the 'least' amount of defenses and traps. Whenever it's meal time, the defenses increase, but whenever it's not meal time, the defenses are lower than usual."
"If it was me, I'll find a way to remain in the Meal Room after meal time without alerting the Underworld, and when the defenses are not as powerful as usual, I'll use the exit."
"It would still be difficult, but it's doable... In the report you sent to me before the ambush, you said that what the two of us are going to steal is a strange type of key."
"And if I'm correct, you probably have the key, no, a copy of the keys of the Lords of the Outer Area and Inner Area to deactivate some of the defenses of the Meal Room. With the key of the Central Lord, the chances of us being able to safely leave the Underworld without activating the defenses and alerting the Underworld would be extremely high."
Corey paused, and then he looked at Divine whose lips was twitching with an expression that showed that he clearly wanted to beat the shit out of Corey... An expression one has when they see somebody who behaves like a know-it-all.
"So, am I right or am I wrong?"
